The proprietor was very helpful and accommodating when a booking error meant only one of our two rooms was available. The location was extremely convenient to the castle and the old town.
It was karaoke night downstairs, and the noise made it difficult to fall asleep until quite late.

It was clean and kept that way
When we booked, not told the kitchen was not working, due to a fire. So no breakfast.

Neat and tidy room and a great location.
There wasn't anything really that spoilt our stay.

No breakfast due to kitchen renovations, easy relaxed atmosphere, given key to front door in case we were late coming in, obviously a locals pub but there was no problem, it was a friendly pub. Thank you
Could have done with another bedside table but used the stool, apologies for not putting it back

Location, staff, price, clean.
Room cold. Given a small oil radiator which had to be left on all stay.

I arrived to a friendly welcome from the bar staff. After a quick check-in, I was taken to my room and given a quick explanation about the keys. My room was clean and nicely decorated with a fantastic view over Afon Seiont. The bar was lively and a bit noisy, but I was warned about that, so it wasn't an issue.
Some of the decoration was a bit worn, but this didn't detract from my stay.
Sadly, the hotel had suffered from a fire on the day before I arrived, so there was no food available. However, being in the centre of Caernarfon meant that there was plenty of choices to be found.

advertised as B & B after booking told no breakfast. Menu in room for evening meals but kitchen only open for Sunday Carvery.Much looked forward to Sunday dinner was a day old sandwich from Spar, NO food in pub
no where to put toilet bag/makeup, 2 small side chests with tea tray on one and large mirror/table lamp on other. small shelf in bathroom just room for toothbrushes. Large unhygenic black shag pile rug made difficulty opening wardrobe and a trip hazard. Ironing board kept in narrow stair well, fire door constantly left open. No contact details for staff or emergencies. large cups and saucers, which have to carried across room impractical. Faded old duvet cover. Suspect we were sole occupants of whole building overnight.

Not having a bath . Just Shower
We had asked for a room with a bath. But when we arrived we were informed there were no. rooms with a bath.

Central to the town centre and all amenities , there was a nice view over the harbor .The young couple who checked us in seemed pleasant enough .
Once inside the bar hotel it becomes evident that the whole place is in reed of refurbishment / refreshment . The room was situated up quite steep stairs on the 3 rd floor . Though the room initially looked nicely decorated… look further the walls were patched up , a portable electric fire with a foot missing and a dent in it was left for our use . The bed was uncomfortable , the sheets well worn and the duvet in need of replacement as it was compacted and just felt well used . The hotel offered no facilities . The tarif was very overpriced , compared to our next hotel which was 20 pounds cheaper and excellent .

I liked the position of the hotel it is at the side of the castle, you could not have got a hotel nearer the centre
Restaurant not open Mondays, no breakfast even though we booked and paid on your site. This should have been pointed out when booking

Very close to castle and shops. Comfy bed. Helpful bar/ reception staff & lovely atmosphere. Plenty parking spaces available near hotel.
Small/ tight room above pub so at night was quite noisy. No air condition at room (we stayed in hot weather 28 C). A bit poor condition Bathroom. Funny mirror at bathroom.

Location was great! Staff very good
The room was incredibly hot, no fan provided, but to be fair I didn't ask for one either 🤔 room was basic but clean, bathroom would benefit from modernising. Had the window wide open all night but the seagulls woke us at 5am 😩

Large room nice view over the castle square~quite nicely appointed
Double bed too small~many sockets at ground level just didn't work~shame no breakfast service
