We had 4 adults & 5 children and stayed comfortably. The common areas are spacious, well appointed and updated (kitchen, dining area, basement living room, outside pool area, patio etc). We would stay here again.
The owners seem very interested in offering a great experience and we had no need to communicate with them during our stay - which says alot about them and the property. The property is very safe and is double-gated with a lovely driveway up to the house.
At this price point, I expect a very high standard and so the following notes are more about attention to detail and are meant merely to help bring the rating up to 5 stars.
Things to improve include: updating the bathrooms (toilets specifically), fixing a few doors inside the house (some of them would not close properly and 1 was broken) and providing more towels for the pool given that the property sleeps 9 comfortably. The master suite is fantastic but all of the closets were filled with stuff (e.g. mattresses, bags, boxes etc). Also, the sliding door to the toilet was broken and needs to be fixed.
Note: I thought there was a pool table AND a table tennis table but the TT table needs to be placed on top of the pool table.
Overall an enjoyable stay.

It was a perfect getaway for a girls weekend! The house was gorgeous and fully stocked. There’s a local grocery store and plenty of wineries nearby. We ended up cancelling all our wine tastings and spent most of our time hanging out by the pool and enjoying the amazing views. There was also a good selection of restaurants nearby. Salt & Stone was a 7 mins drive away and the food/atmosphere was great! Overall, we had a fantastic girls weekend and would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you Bryan and Paula!

A modern and elegant home with majestic views! This house was clean, comfortable and a perfect setting for our group of mature girlfriends celebrating a bride-to-be! We enjoyed a spacious living room and played games, a beautiful updated kitchen, dinner and brunch in the dining area for shared meals and heartwarming conversations, and a heated pool and hot tub. If it was warmer, we would've leveraged the outdoor deck more because it is perfect for bbqs and entertaining.
There are 4 official bedrooms, with pull-out sofa beds downstairs in the game room. There are 4 full bathrooms. Capacity for 12 really depends on the comfort level of your group sharing beds in rooms. There were plenty of towels for the guests. Extra blankets and sheets were laundered, but in plastic bags; we had to look for them in closets throughout the home. Parking is limited on the property to 5 cars overnight, so I suggest carpooling for large groups. Overall, our stay met and exceeded our expectations.
The location was near small family owned wineries and fantastic restaurants. Benziger Winery and Tasting room was a great one, B. Wise and Mayo. We had a fancy French dining experience at A Girl and the Fig about 20 minutes away. We.loved our time here and look forward to returning to Glen Ellen again.

If you want all the comforts of a luxury home and the added benefit of privacy then this is the home to stay at. My family and dogs throughly enjoyed the homes floor plan, it’s very spread out with rooms at different wings of the house. The game room was a big hit, shooting pool until the wee hours of the morning. The heated pool and the hot tub were our 2nd most used activities. It was so nice to have a heated pool during December! The teenagers loved it! The back deck pool/hot tub area is fenced in for the added convenience if you bring your dog. No need to worry if they are out back. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Lots of towels, blankets, pillows, oh and they stock the showers with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner just in case you didn’t bring yours no need to run to the store!
Bryan was excellent in communication from the day I booked to the day we left he was an awesome owner!
Best vacation in a long time, will definitely be going back.

Flawless. Prompt, accurate, helpful communication from sign in to sign out. Property as advertised. Beautiful home and setting. Fun and games were plentiful with all the parts and pieces. Flexible owners came through big time when we needed a late checkout. I would go back in a heartbeat.
Celebrated my wife’s 70th with all 6 of our adult children. Very convenient to wine tasting.

I had booked Bryan and Paula’s place in early 2020 for a bachelorette party. It would have been the first time I had ever visited California wine country. It was always a trip I wanted to take. As you may expect, that party didn’t happen. After several covid reschedules, which were made possible by Bryan and Paula’s generosity, we were finally able to enjoy this beautiful home this past weekend.
Although I couldn’t get the whole group of girls together, my husband and I took advantage of everything this home had to offer. We used the well stocked kitchen to cook dinner and breakfasts. We were a 20 minute drive from downtown Sonoma where we went on a full day bike tour with Sonoma Adventures (which I highly recommend doing if you’re visiting Sonoma for the first time). We were then able to return back to the house to cool down and relax in the very clean pool. We enjoyed the stars at night and took in all the sunset views off the back balcony and deck.
Bryan and Paula truly have a slice of heaven in California wine country. I hope to have the opportunity to visit and stay at their home again.

We were in the Sonoma area for a girls getaway and had the most relaxing weekend at this Hilltop Home! The house, pool, and views are even more amazing than the photos show. The house is also stocked with everything you might need. We loved that the property was private but so conveniently close to wineries and restaurants. The hosts were very prompt with their responses so communication was a breeze. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Came with a group of girl friends and enjoyed the house. Very spacious and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms with everything you could need. Also, appreciated the privacy of the house. My only con would be because it is private, the house is a little bit of a drive to restaurants and groceries but not too far. Overall, would definitely stay here again next visit to wine country!

We stayed at this home for 7 nights and had such a wonderful time! The house is clean, beautiful and spacious and fit our party of 8 easily. The bunk room was so great for our kiddos. The kitchen was large and well appointed. The house is private and the view is beautiful. We swam in the pool and were in the hot tub every day. Bryan is a great host - very easy and quick to communicate with. We can't wait to come back!!

House was clean, well stocked, and comfortable! Worked out perfectly for our family (3 households, 6 adults and 3 kids) to come together. Loved that 3 of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. My mother with mobility challenges was able to get around really well, too. Pool and patio were in use nearly constantly and pool was very clean and well maintained. Hosts provided great directions for accessing the property and were responsive when we had questions. We are looking forward to returning!

The large backyard was our favorite spot. The view was beautiful. Sitting on a chaise lounge or in the pool looking out into the hillside was very peaceful. The jacuzzi was warm. We were 3 couples so there was plenty of space. Downstairs there was a play room with a pool table a big tv and large couch. We didn’t use this room so there may be more things to do down there. The kitchen was nice with everything you need to cook. The microwave wasn’t working. We called the manager and he directed me to where the manual was kept. We couldn’t figure out how to fix it. This is the reason why I gave it just 4 stars. The road to the house was easy. There is a short patch where the road was narrow but it was paved. So it was easy to drive. (I only mention this because we’ve stayed at another place in the area that has great views but the road was crazy scary to drive on). I would highly recommend staying here!!

We rented this property to celebrate my wife’s birthday with five of our kids and one of our grandkids. We really enjoyed our stay and the very convenient location. The house was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and a perfect space for our family. The outdoor area was fantastic, and the views were just spectacular . Bryan and Paula were terrific hosts who quickly responded to our inquiries and made us feel welcome. We can’t wait to go back!

This property was perfect for our family getaway with our adult children & significant others to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. We were able to relax and use the pool/hot tub, and enjoyed watching sports on the multiple TV’s. We hired a driver for a wine tour through Sonoma County and drove ourselves to a few Napa wineries. Restaurants are within a 5-10 minute drive, although the location is a bit remote and Uber drivers have difficulty locating the property, it’s well worth the advanced planning for transportation as the views are spectacular and the home was very private and peaceful.
The kitchen was very well stocked and the game room was an added bonus.
We had a party of 7 and there was enough bedroom/ bathroom space for all.
We would love to return for another family celebration in the future.

Beautiful, comfortable, well appointed home with gorgeous view
We rented this property for a wine trip with friends and family and we were all blown away by this home. We were so close to so many beautiful wineries. When we walked into the home, we were immediately drawn to the back patio area. The pictures can’t capture how gorgeous the view is. We enjoyed lots of meals at the huge indoor dining table and under the gazebo outside.
We’ve rented a lot of properties and never seen one as well stocked as this one. They supplied everything you could think of- soaps for everything, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee, cleaning supplies, etc. It was so nice not having to run out for anything but food.
Everyone said their beds were comfortable. The owners easily allowed us to postpone a year due to Covid concerns from some in our party. We usually like booking different properties for vacations but this is the first place I would rent again in a heartbeat! Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home!

Not knowing how many would come and not wanting to risk noise complaints, this home seemed like the right option. 10 people can very comfortably sleep here. The game room was such a fun hangout spot. My friends and I loved the pool and jacuzzi. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need (we had a chef make brunch and he went on and on about the amenities). Bryan was always easy to contact with little questions. If you’ve got a group going to Sonoma, I highly recommend this house.

My friends and I loved the pool and jacuzzi. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need (we had a chef make brunch and he went on and on about the amenities). Bryan was always easy to contact with little questions. If you’ve got a group going to Sonoma, I highly recommend this house.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting!!
We loved our stay at this beautiful home! The views were stunning, the home was well appointed with plenty for everyone to do. We enjoyed grilling, dining Al fresco and utilizing the lovely pool and hot tub. It was a short distance to some wineries and markets making it quite convenient. We didn’t want to leave and will look forward to another visit!
