Without being isolated, the chalet is in a 'natural' area with direct access to many hikes (on foot, snowshoes or cross-country skis). Le Buet small nearby ski resort (500m): ski lessons, catering, tourist train Martigny-Saint Gervais which serves free of charge (thanks to the guest card which will be given to you for each person) Vallorcine (3 mins), Argentière - the great Montets (10 mins) or Chamonix.
The Vallorcine ski rental company has 2 stores: one in Buet and one in Vallorcine; it offers prices for our tenants (-20%) and can keep the skis in the evening to avoid bringing them back to the chalet. Contact him: http://www.vallorcine-locaskis.com/
Many walks or snowshoes from the chalet, possibility of going to the farm to get fresh milk and cheese or even homemade cheese
