Location, with views across to Auckland, was very special. The facilities in the cottage were first class. Staying in the cottage made our trip memorable. Bubbles on arrival and breakfast delivered to cottage - very enjoyable
Only problem was that the front door was difficult to lock and we considered going to dinner with the door left unlocked. That ight there was a robbery nearby, so good job we did manage to lock the door.

The location was unbelievable, one of the most beautiful places I think I have ever stayed. The staff were also excellent and so accommodating of our early check in request. The cottage itself couldn't have been more perfect. The shower was also great.

Saying beautiful view is an understatment, this felt like an amazing little hideaway to escape to, we felt so calm and relaxed staying here. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit and muesli on a beautiful sunny morning was a highlight. The spa was amazing on a calm night
We weren't sure if the water and bubbles were on the house or not

Amazing view and beautifully decorated cottage.

everything about this place is amazing, the cottage, the view, the detail of things inside the cottage - everything had been thought about. The view from this cottage is next to done and we were able to enjoy this on a glorious sunny day. Breakfast and complimentary bottle of wine provided, this is the perfect getaway - would highly recommend it.

breakfast was ok unit was good single bed was poor and uncomfortable
We were told that it was easy access for an old person but no one knew about the access ways until we looked the following day. Bar staff were very helpful but didnt know about access routes to units they helped us but was very difficult to get any information.

Very nice- fresh fruit, yogurt muesli and toast
There was a stagnant water smell when we opened the dishwasher. I think they should be checked after the winter break but that was the only thing we didn’t like.

The views
The children’s bedroom is gloomy and does not appear to be child friendly. It is claustrophobic and eerie in there.
Merlot cottage did not have an electric heater. One shouldn’t expect the wood fires to be used by all the guests.

Superb location. Stunning view. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect place to relax and unwind.
Having to leave this idyllic spot.

a little cottage all to yourself with a jacuzzi. restaurant and bar right next door with delicious food. breathtaking views.
with the money that was spent for one night, it would’ve been nice to have a hot breakfast served instead a cold one delivered the night before. since the restaurant is right next door one would think that would be more convenient. would’ve loved to light up the fireplace but there were no matches anywhere to be found. the heat pump did very little to warm up the cottage. overall a lovely first experience in Waihiki

Amazing views
It could have more of personal items, such as Toothbrush, make up removal, shower cap etc.

Location was amazing and restaurants outstanding
Breakfast would be better in restaurant - it was too repetitive every day in the cottage

This was the perfect romantic getaway. It was extremely private, with the option of the winery and restaurant right there 2 minutes walk away. Everything was of extremely high quality, service was impeccable. We cannot fault this property, and look forward to our next stay!
