Absolutely stunning apartment!

Excellent location with exceptional views. Beautifully put together apartment with lovely linen and furnishings. Everything needed for a luxurious and restful stay!

The property had a nice view and was lovely for a couple's retreat

Inadequate cooking facilities - one hotplate that was slow to heat and the output was low, not a stovetop. Would have been good to have a larger range of cooking pans with a lid. Not enough bath towels were provided despite the advertising noting all of this would be provided. We were advised that this was due to efforts to be sustainable and that it was in the marketing that beach towels would incur an additional fee, however, if this was about sustainability and not solely profitability ( as we were offered towels at $10 each per towel more) than why not clearly state what will be provided to guests (I.e. 1 bath towel for 3 nights) so they can prepare accordingly based on their needs instead of hiding behind the fine print.

The apartment was beautifully styled with all that you would need for a few days, the bed was super comfy and a lovely additional goodies bag with ground coffee and tea. The view was one in a million and loved sitting on the deck with a glass of wine watching the sun go down.

Beautiful accommodation, beautiful views!

The location, the view, the whole unit and its decor, cleanliness and all in great condition. Private and quiet as long as the neighbouring unit has no or equally quiet occupants.

The steep driveway was fine to manage in a vehicle but definitely needs a high level of fitness if you want to walk it (super steep and long). Some people may find the PA system and the coming and going of the ferry disturbing but it doesn't run all night.

over all, a very lovely place to stay.

It was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable.

Late check out was really not an option and there was no place to store our luggage for the day. We ended up having to store our luggage at the ferry terminal which was a huge inconvenient and an extra expense. The moorings apartments property appeared to have plenty of space to have a storage area for their customers.

The view from the apartment looking back at Auckland was amazing, you not only got the view of the ocean during the day but at night you get the Auckland city view.

Absolutely idyllic. The perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway.

The studio was modern, beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning. The location is great with the ferry, bus, and local shops within walking distance.

Stunning view, great location, really spacious room, nicely presented, totally relaxing, very private. We enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen should have better facilities for cooking. No oven or acceptable cooking hob. Milk was not provided. Information about the TV is incorrect - on booking.com, the website, and accomodation booklet. There is no smart TV or satellite TV as promoted. Despite contacting Be My Guest we had no satisfaction regarding the TV situation.

No Hospitality, Very Expensive

Paid top dollar for the view really, asked if we could check out a little later than 10am, understand if they have other guests coming in but NO, they wanted to charge me another days stay. They were more than happy for us to leave our bags outside tho while we went about our daily activities but when we came back to collect them at 3pm the room hadn’t been touched or even cleaned so why it was such an issue for us to stay a little longer it blows me away in these time with no international visitors!! Happy to take our $ but not happy to provide any form of hospitality. 😢really.
