The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant is wonderful. Staff is friendly and cheerful.

This is an older motel that is trying hard, but could definately use some updates to the rooms. The room with 2 queen beds was clean but cramped. The bathroom fixtures are old but functional. It was quiet. The motel is only a short walk away from the historic downtown area of Baker and adjacent to a nice nature trail. The restaurant was convenient for dinner and breakfast. Our 2 dogs were welcome for an additional fee.
The pillows were not comfortable (flat, foam pillows from the dollar store). There was a mini fridge in the room but it was turned off when we arrived, so we couldn't put cold drinks in it. Electical outlets were taken up by the tv and refrigerator so we had no where to charge electronics.

The breakfast, the style, the price, the comfort
Staircase was a little rickety

This hotel should be condemned. Old doesn't even describe it. We couldn't stay here.
Looked like the ceiling was going to cave in. The carpet disgusting. I would no more lie my head on the pillows than I would lay in a bed of spiders

Breakfast was great. Tasted very good and plenty to eat

Breakfast was good, staff were fantastic. Beds could use an upgrade, but to be honest-thats a big expense and it's a rural location and post covid I understand not doing it yet.
I'm gonna leave this blank on purpose. Had a good stay.

Absolutely nothing
Entire motel was in very poor condition. Outside paint peeling, stairs rusting, doors unpainted. Inside stained carpets, moldy tile, thin walls. Needed more lighting in the room.

Location. Cost. Restaurant near.
AC fan failing. Couldn't sleep when it was running

Decent price, but you get what you pay for. And we didn’t find any bedbugs, so that was nice.
The mattresses were about 3 inches thick, and one of them smelled faintly of urine. The TV screen is small and located about 20 feet from the head of the bed where one sits to watch, which makes it very hard to see and hear, even with the volume turned up. The water in the shower fluctuated between hot and cold. We could not get the air conditioner to work. The exterior stairs to the second floor are steep and made of metal. If someone falls while using them, they are likely to suffer injury. we did not eat at the restaurant, so this review does not include that evaluation .

Outstanding staff, warm welcome, great price that included good breakfast at their restaurant; clean and quiet!!
Nothing, this was the best stay on our six-day trip; well worth staying there again, which we will do!!

The location was pretty great. Just a few blocks from downtown Baker City. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance!
The room wasn’t very clean. There was grease or dirt and hand smudges on the fridge, television, and mirror. When I addressed the concerns with the staff, she explained that kids had cleaned the room and must have not done a good job. I love that kiddos are helping with the family business, but it also made me think the room may not be very clean overall as a result.

Good free breakfast with easy location. Comfy bed, nice and quiet.
Sort of worn out room, broken door, uncomfortable pillows.

Very good restaurant low cost adjoins the motel.
Needs upgrade floor freaked an old motel.

Great value. Restaurant on property. Free breakfast. Close to downtown.

It was quiet, the mattress was firm and I slept better than i usually do in a motel.
needed better lighting and fluffier pillows.

the location, the price
it was pretty dingy and old, seriously needs some updating. the bathroom sink didn’t work quite right.

checkin was easy and people were friendly. Breakfast host was great and restaurant atmosphere was nice.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.

Nothing
Poor parking, steep steps upstairs, hard, cheap beds, dirty carpet, outside of the door was peeling big chunks of paint of it. No breakfast was available, false advertisement.
3.8
Great value, especially if you want a place to take a walk on the town!

Friendly staff, nice restaurant. Clean, quiet, comfortable.
When we travel, we like to get going very early.
Wish the restaurant opened at 5, but that's a bit early for most, so it's not a big deal.
3.8
Cozy, great location, friendly, easy check in, free breakfast at restaurant, simple, good value for cost, dog friendly, fridge and microwave in the room
My room was a bit drafty (poor seal on windows and under the front door I assume) and the walls are a bit thin, but not a big deal. No coffee pot in the room
