The Windward Studio is one of four guest apartments in the brand new Main Street Station, designed to complement beloved historic structures of Eastsound. This is a premium unit, with spacious open floor plan of 430 square feet, queen bed, pull-out sofa, fully equipped compact kitchen, view balcony, and nearby stairs to the gorgeous rocky beach. Architecturally crafted with attention to every detail, and all new furnishings in coastal, organic style we call 'beachy elegance.' The rooms highlight natural textures and products from local artisans. In Eastsound Village you will find all you need -- farmer's market, bookstore, kayak rentals, bicycles, grocery, natural foods, boutiques, gift shops, and more. In fact, you don't even have to bring a car! Skip the ferry lines and pack light, take a shuttle or taxi to Eastsound, and the rest of your trip is easy. Feel free to ask us for any other special details you may desire for your get-away. Simply the perfect spot for your Orcas Island adventure! My husband and I stayed at the loft for 4 nights and loved it. We had a car we brought over on the ferry so were able to explore the island. We took some nice hikes, went to a winery and did the orcas only excursion. The loft was in an awesome location overlooking the sound and walking distance from everything around us. We expected direct tv in the loft but not an issue to have steaming only. The staircase to the loft was good exercise for us but may be a bit tough for some especially hauling luggage up. The loft was really clean and had all amenities we would ask for. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Great studio apartment with a nice functional kitchen, nice bed with a moderately firm mattress. Nice location right in Eastsound. We walked from the airport which was about .7 miles away and very easy. The view and deck were fantastic and real highlights.

Great location to local shops and restaurants. The view of the water was stunning. We loved having a kitchen to make meals in when we wanted to. The bathroom has a sinker tub which was wonderful after a long day exploring. The only draw back is the bed, like previous reviews, we found the mattress was uncomfortable to sleep on.

The rental was well stocked with everything we needed, and it was easy to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We do think it's time to replace the mattress, didn't sleep well. Other thN that it was a wonderful weekend!

We loved staying at the SeaStar Lofts. The location was amazing, smack in the center of East Sound. At the same time, once inside it was very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony hanging over the bay. We will return for sure!

All I needed was an easy, quiet place to renew and look out at the water for a few days. That's what I got. The mini kitchen was perfect for my needs, as was the view of rain-and-wind-whipped waters from the couch.

We absolutely loved this rental in Eastsound! It was clean, cozy and had a wonderful view of the water and amazing sunsets! Conveniently located close to several restaurants and businesses...everything is within walking distance. We loved this place and will definitely be back—thank you for a great get-away!!

The property manager Susan was very helpful and kind, housecleaning forgot to leave our keys out but she quickly resolved the problem and I was able to reach her right away. Other pros- The place has everything you could want, and THE best view and downtown location! Also very clean. Walls are thin so we heard our neighbors a lot, the fire place was not the easiest to start, we weren’t able to, and the mattress was not the best. Overall we have a wonderful stay- wonderful service and property, great location and view on a quaint island!

We only stayed one night but wished it had been longer. This place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. There was a big storm so unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the outdoor porch which is perched overlooking the bay. Highly recommended if you like being in the heart of the sweet little town.

Right in the middle of Eastsound on Orcas, just steps away from everything you could need. A very cozy and charming little studio with grade A views of the cove. We saw sea otters almost every morning!
