Very nice house near by the center and a parking zone, which is very close to a supermarket (Lidl) so you can combine shopping and the daily extend the parking ticket 🙂. The washer/dryer was broken and we informed the staff via email. In general the communication with the host was superb.

Loved the vibe of this city house. Decor was stunning and it was so comfortable. Don't judge this house by the street it is on. It is busy, but remember you are in the heart of Galway. And Galway's heart is huge. To be close to it, is an honor. We did deal with a broken latch on the washing machine but were offered laundry services which we took avail of as we have been travelling through the south of Ireland. Laundry was delivered to us the next day - thanks! Would definitely stay again. Thanks for offering up this charming home.

We had a great weekend stay in Galway. Easy walking distance to Eyre Square and other sites in Galway City. Very comfortable for our family of 5

We spent very little time in that apartment. But everything was as described. Galway is a smaller city than I thought, and everything was in walking distance. Great location, great accomodations and having a washer/dryer was a godsend.

The house is beautiful clean and modern. Check in is easy and communication with management was convenient. 2 keys would have been nice

The property is reasonably well located as promised, 4 blocks above Eyre Square, and that is the end of the positive aspects. The property opens directly onto a major thoroughfare that is busy with traffic at all hours. The doors & window are ancient wood-framed originals that offer no insulation, sound or otherwise. We were bothered by noise at all hours: this included conversations of passers by - it was as if they were in our room! The place is in desparate need of renovation: the flooring is old, dirty & stained. The main floor offers old linoleum over cold concrete and upstairs the subfloor is uneven & creaky, and the carpet cheap sand threadbare. The place is furnished with what appears to be the cheapest second hand furniture available: worn, mismatched and uncomfortable. To be fair, the army of ants in the front room had no complaints. The kitchen does feature a new refrigerator and washer, but the washer didn't work. Also, there is no dishwasher, so valuable time is wasted doing dishes each day. The kitchen is half-finished with cabinetry and cheap particle board shelves. Cleaning supplies were left in plain sight of the guests, beside the kitchen table. There is a back patio that could actually be quite nice, if the owners cared to clean it up. Instead it is an overgrown mess and gives the feeling of a derilect property. We felt like we were staying within a recent crime scene. There is no check in support whatsoever. I received an email with instructions only, but there was no one around to greet us on arrival or assist us when we needed it. We received only one house key (I've never experienced that elsewhere) and when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the suite in arrival, no one answered our repeated calls for help. I had to resolve the situation on my own. I never did get a call from ownership, only an email the next day. Days later, in as limited way, the ower was apologetic of everything but offered only a nominal adjustment on the bill. (It amounted to less than the cost of one night.) My impression here is that there is no pride in ownership or commitment to the property, guests or the business. The physical state of the place confirms that opinion, especially when combined with the level of support and presence and accessibility of the ownership group. I've stayed in several VRBO properties in Ireland & England and this was the worst experience I've had - I recommend you avoid this place.

The needs of our family of four were met in this apartment, but I would not again stay in what seemed like a company-managed property. The furnishings were the cheapest possible and the manager was nowhere to be found when a broken washing machine was reported. Our stay was fine and we enjoyed our short walks into the city center, but I have to imagine there are better choices out there.
