Very nice house near by the center and a parking zone, which is very close to a supermarket (Lidl) so you can combine shopping and the daily extend the parking ticket 🙂. The washer/dryer was broken and we informed the staff via email. In general the communication with the host was superb.

Loved the vibe of this city house. Decor was stunning and it was so comfortable. Don't judge this house by the street it is on. It is busy, but remember you are in the heart of Galway. And Galway's heart is huge. To be close to it, is an honor. We did deal with a broken latch on the washing machine but were offered laundry services which we took avail of as we have been travelling through the south of Ireland. Laundry was delivered to us the next day - thanks! Would definitely stay again. Thanks for offering up this charming home.

We had a great weekend stay in Galway. Easy walking distance to Eyre Square and other sites in Galway City. Very comfortable for our family of 5

We spent very little time in that apartment. But everything was as described. Galway is a smaller city than I thought, and everything was in walking distance. Great location, great accomodations and having a washer/dryer was a godsend.

The house is beautiful clean and modern. Check in is easy and communication with management was convenient. 2 keys would have been nice
4.1
The property is reasonably well located as promised, 4 blocks above Eyre Square, and that is the end of the positive aspects.
The property opens directly onto a major thoroughfare that is busy with traffic at all hours. The doors & window are ancient wood-framed originals that offer no insulation, sound or otherwise. We were bothered by noise at all hours: this included conversations of passers by - it was as if they were in our room!
The place is in desparate need of renovation: the flooring is old, dirty & stained. The main floor offers old linoleum over cold concrete and upstairs the subfloor is uneven & creaky, and the carpet cheap sand threadbare. The place is furnished with what appears to be the cheapest second hand furniture available: worn, mismatched and uncomfortable. To be fair, the army of ants in the front room had no complaints.
The kitchen does feature a new refrigerator and washer, but the washer didn't work. Also, there is no dishwasher, so valuable time is wasted doing dishes each day. The kitchen is half-finished with cabinetry and cheap particle board shelves. Cleaning supplies were left in plain sight of the guests, beside the kitchen table. There is a back patio that could actually be quite nice, if the owners cared to clean it up. Instead it is an overgrown mess and gives the feeling of a derilect property. We felt like we were staying within a recent crime scene.
There is no check in support whatsoever. I received an email with instructions only, but there was no one around to greet us on arrival or assist us when we needed it.
We received only one house key (I've never experienced that elsewhere) and when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the suite in arrival, no one answered our repeated calls for help. I had to resolve the situation on my own. I never did get a call from ownership, only an email the next day. Days later, in as limited way, the ower was apologetic of everything but offered only a nominal adjustment on the bill. (It amounted to less than the cost of one night.)
My impression here is that there is no pride in ownership or commitment to the property, guests or the business. The physical state of the place confirms that opinion, especially when combined with the level of support and presence and accessibility of the ownership group. I've stayed in several VRBO properties in Ireland & England and this was the worst experience I've had - I recommend you avoid this place.

The needs of our family of four were met in this apartment, but I would not again stay in what seemed like a company-managed property.
The furnishings were the cheapest possible and the manager was nowhere to be found when a broken washing machine was reported.
Our stay was fine and we enjoyed our short walks into the city center, but I have to imagine there are better choices out there.

Way over priced, away under maintained.

Totally misrepresented on listing. Location is good, then down hill. Walk out back, trash bags by patio , unsealed and debris laying in yard. Mold on bathroom walls, not enough hot water for occupancy... but the kicker was the vines growing inside kitchen sliding glass doors, over 4 feet, into kitchen. Would have preferred a tent

This place, has enough room to sleep six adults and an infant. It’s in a great location walking distance to down town. The place was clean and had working washer/dryer combo.

Great place to stay! Easy walk to City Centre and we even walked to the train station with our bags the day we moved on. Pub directly across the street and many locations to eat very close by. Hostess responded very quickly to any and all of my questions and was by far the best communicator of the 4 places we stayed on this trip. If your looking for 5 star accommodations then you may want to pass, if your looking for a place to stow your bags, get a good nights sleep and have some coffee in the morning before heading off on your days adventure then this is the exact place you want. Wifi worked well, cant speak to the TV as we didnt even turn it on. Definitely would stay here again.

The location is convenient to get to many shops and restaurants. The home was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay except the front (double) bedroom's street noise was so loud we struggled to sleep in there. The back bedroom was spacious with 3 beds and much quieter.

The property is in a very good location for walking distance into town and access to pubs and restaurants, which is great after a full day of touring, and having parking across the street is ideal. The house is well equipped to use as a home base while you explore the sites. The host are excellent at staying in contact with information on how to access the property and the lock box for keys comes in very handy for early or late arrivals as well as to keep the keys in if people are coming and going at different times, no one gets locked out.
Thank you for the use of your lovely home.

The host was gracious. The place was clean. The location was perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location of this place is fabulous. If you don't mind being in the middle of the city, this is your place. A bit loud at night, but it is to be expected given the location.

Perfect location
We were greeted upon arrival by Susan who was very friendly and welcoming, she even picked up some coffee, tea, milk, and an apple pie for us! The unit was perfectly sized for the five of us. Wifi worked with no issues, and although we didn't cook in the kitchen it was well appointed. The real highlight is the walkability to the train, the coach station, Eyre Square, and the Latin Quarter. We were able to fully enjoy our three days without having to rent a car. A bonus is the nice pub across the street where we could relax with a pint after a long day of touring.
