About this house rental
Modern, executive style, two bedroom townhouse located in a private, secluded development in the heart of Galway City. Wood flooring, gloss kitchen cabinetry with all major appliances, bathroom with walk in shower, separate work space with desk, all finished in a homely design makes for a lot of comfort. Our townhouse offers a central base while exploring Galway City and the surrounding areas. There are two bedrooms downstairs with a shared bathroom. The living area and kitchen are open plan and located upstairs.

Pop downstairs to Galway's famous Charlie Bynes bookshop and spend hours sifting through old books, and new, and you will definitely pick up a few bargains.
You will be spoiled for choice with the location of the apartment. So many new and old restaurants on your doorstep, pubs, historical buildings, the list goes on!

The location is truly amazing. Right in the heart of Galway in the Latin quarter. Very walkable. Clean & as described. We had a rental car, parking close in the Hynes car park. Very convenient but expensive. A bit noisy at bed time.

From the ease of check in to the great location and the amenities of the suite, this was a time to remember. The unit was fantastic! The check in was so easy and contactless. The location in Galway could not have been better. We enjoyed the stay immensely.

Amazing location—easy access to the dock, Spanish arch, Latin Quarter. It was loud at night—especially Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. The hot water was an adventure in itself as it’s pretty tightly regulated, but manageable. Kitchen was well stocked, but the bathroom wasn’t—which honestly, if we had not run out of toilet paper the last day and I had asked, I know they would have restocked.

We enjoyed our stay in this flat. The communication with this group was excellent! They always responded very quickly. The flat was very clean when we arrived. There was a basket with coffee, teas, creamers, sugar & some biscuits which is a nice touch! Well equipped kitchen, if you wanted to cook. The beds were comfortable. The location of the flat was great! We walked thru an alleyway to the Latin Quarter. Lots of pubs & shops in that area. We went to the St. Nicholas’ Market on Saturday. We really enjoyed that market. We walked over to Eyre Square & enjoyed some pubs over there, as well. Galway is a very walkable town. We would stay here again.

You can’t beat this wonderful townhome for the location. Right in the heart of everything, but secluded for privacy. Nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Easy walk to the grocery. Easy walk to everything. We had incredible meals at the local restaurants. Even experienced a Saturday night in a packed Irish pub. It was heaven. You can’t go wrong staying here. Looking forward to returning on our next stay in Galway.

Duplex has excellent location. Easy walking distance to many interesting sites in and around Galway City. The kitchen was very well equipped. We did note a few concerns:
-enough towels for the week (5 for 3 adults)
-enough paper products ( we purchased more)
-hot water for showers.

Immaculate place exactly as described and in the pictures. Great communication from the host with lots of local tips. Dinner walk-ins in Galway were a challenge so make reservations when you can!

We came for the close proximity to the Christmas Market in Galway, and we got a lot more than we expected. This apartment is walking distance from the city centre which gives you easy access to parking, shopping (both grocery and gift shopping), and restaurants. It is a great place to stay, and it was really fun for our entire family (which includes a 10-month old).

Very nice place in an AMAZING location! Clean and comfortable. We had our 11 month old with us and this location could not have been better to conveniently return for naps then head back out into the city. Easily baby proofed as well! Quiet and safe location.

Proximity to Latin Quarter was outstanding. Townhouse was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. If you have heavy and / or a lot of luggage, be mindful of a dozen or so stairs up to get to the Townhouse. Had a great time in Galway.

Improvements needed to make stays smoother
While the apartment was clean and tidy some improvements are needed..... they had to replace pots and pans due to the ones being unsafe to use. The washer/dryer combo did not work nor were there instructions provided nor did they come to help us out as they said. The wifi code was missing.
The description should also indicate that you have to walk up stairs to enter the center plaza where the apartments are located, especially for people with physical limitations.
I don't feel the manager was as responsive as should be. I've used VRBO properties both in US and Ireland and can say this experience did not make me happy.

Perfect Location
We stayed here for a short visit in Galway and the location could not be more perfect. You are directly in the heart of downtown, so everything is walkable. Yet, the apartment is sort of off the path, so it doesn't get noisy at night. The property owners were beyond helpful and super responsive via email. They also sent us a large list of recommendations before our visit, which was so helpful in planning out meals and activities. Couldn't recommend this VRBO more!

This home is an excellent option if you want to explore Galway & the region. It is walkable to so many restaurants & sites in the town, as well as to the bus & train stations. It was also clean and quiet, and the property managers were quite responsive & helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

The manager was fabulous. Because of a medical problem we had the stay in Galway an extra day. She got us another similar apartment in the same neighborhood.

Great location and perfect for families!
Central location in the heart of Galway City and Latin quarter. Easy walking distance to all the major sites, including Spanish Arch, Claddagh, shopping, and pubs. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was great to have access to a kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. It was much better than a hotel!
