About this apartment rental
Lots of Privacy! Fenced in Courtyard and hidden deck amongst the trees will make your stay here memorable. This two story apartment boasts hardwood floors throughout and a fully stocked kitchen and deep tub in the bathroom. As a bonus, we are close to EVERYTHING!!! 3 Blocks to MSU and 8 to historic downtown Bozeman.
Many of our guests do not even drive their car while staying here! There are a couple of grocery stores within walking distance (one with a brewery above it) and numerous coffee shops, restaurants and parks. We provide a couple of bikes to get around with as well.
The local free bus service stops 2 blocks away with full service to downtown, the mall and even Bridger Bowl ski area. Bridger is a mere 15 minutes away. We are 45 mins from Big Sky Ski Area, 90 mins from Yellowstone National Park and moments away from mountain biking, X-country ski trails, world class fly fishing, white water rafting and hunting.

The home is decent but nothing extraordinary. It was/looked clean. It is old and feels old despite some efforts to make it look upgraded. It is in a quiet neighborhood, which is good. The kitchen's cooking/sink/countertop area feels small and missed having a dishwasher. Regular TV channels did not work. Can use your personal streaming service account like Prime or Netflix, so that was good. It is fairly close to Main St. but it is a small town so that wasn't surprising. It is part of another house with a locked door separating the units. That felt a bit weird since we could hear people operating a washing machine or dryer just on the other side of the door. Those were not available to use in the unit so if you need to do laundry you'd need to visit a laundry mat.

About a mile walk from central downtown, so a nice walk if not with a car. The propane stove adds ambience and warmth to the downstairs, and windows add daylight to the upstairs. Amenities were sufficient.

The property itself was clean and functional. It does have a bit of a “grandma’s house smell” downstairs. The map on the listing is not at all accurate. It makes the property appear to right off Main Street downtown, but it’s actually about a mile away. Closer to MSU. The address is in the description, so just nap it first. Check in and out are simple.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Story Street home. Honestly, it could not have been more perfect! The home was really clean. We loved having a full kitchen and living room with a dining table big enough to play cards. It felt like a home away from home.There were three of us. We did bring a blowup mattress which fit perfectly in the bedroom. The balcony off the bedroom was really nice with the rocking chairs. It rained during our stay so we didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the private patio. The neighborhood was really quiet. I would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time staying here with our two labs. Was nice to have the small court yard. The apartment is really a small two story house that worked well for us. It is located right near main. In addition there were bikes that we are allowed to barrow to ride into town if we wanted. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay at the Story Rental in Bozeman. It was close to UBC, and very close to many great places to eat. The apartment had everything to make it feel like a home away from home - including extra blankets, pillows, and throws to make the negative temperatures extra cozy. All of the extra touches made it so inviting. We will be back! Thank you!

This property truly is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The place is spotless. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking great things purchased at the Co-Op grocery store down the street. We were in town to move our child into MSU. The place is very close to everything! It is a few minutes' drive to the MSU campus, the beautiful downtown, and a short drive to major shopping areas. There is ample room on the main floor for ski equipment and outdoor gear. Mary is very responsive and great to work with. We will stay here again for future visits with our MSU student.

Quaint 2-story apartment
We were there to meet our granddaughter and her fiance for the weekend.
The apartment was clean and well equipped. The rental process was easy. Mary was very responsive. Bath towels were large. Relatively close to grocery stores and downtown. Quiet neighborhood. The narrow winding stairs were a concern for us due to our ages (72 and 79). We left our luggage downstairs.
Our granddaughter rented a unit that was less than 1 mile away which made our visit easy and very enjoyable.
Lovely town. Especially enjoyed the breweries!

This was our first VRBO stay. With hotel prices in Bozeman climbing, we were pleasantly surprised with how nice this place was. Very clean, much more spacious than any hotel in the area. Great location, minutes from everything. Roughly 1+ miles from the downtown area. It was too cold to use them, but they do provide 2 bikes for use as well.
I wish it had a king bed, the bedroom is huge and could certainly fit one, and would have loved a TV in the bedroom, though I'm not sure where they'd put it.
We'll very likely use this place for our Bozeman trips in the future.

Great place to weather a storm!
We arrived on the day a substantial snow and cold event arrived in Bozeman, my spouse, our dog and I. We found the space very comfortable and the location to be close to things we enjoy. The whole space allowed us to enjoy natural light, and prior to cold and wind setting in, we even enjoyed sitting on the upstair’s balcony. We did enjoy some snowy hiking just outside of town, but back at “home”, a quick walk to the food co-op and back had us set up to enjoy warming herbal teas and great books we picked up at Main Street’s Country Bookshelf. We visit Bozeman fairly often to visit our MSU student, and would be thrilled to return to this location on our next visit. We highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Easy to find, accurate listing and close to everything! The house was super cute and had everything we needed. Private entrance made us feel like we were in our own little world. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was as advertised. Convenient location near university. Small fenced backyard good for our dog. Only criticism is the TV reception--because local channels use antenna, the picture on several channels was stuttering. Probably won't bother most people who only stream. Overall a pleasant experience.

Super cute 2-story apartment close to downtown. We used Bozeman as our “basecamp” in MT and we were very pleased with our choice! You’re only a short drive (3-5 mins) to downtown area and you could certainly walk or use the provided bicycles if you prefer. Close to grocery stores and there is a good binder with restaurant recommendations (we tried several on the list and they were all great!) & helpful info about town. The kitchen is well stocked with enough pots, pans, dishes etc., plenty of provided cleaning supplies if needed. The bathroom is spacious and well equipped with toiletries, lots of extra towels, hair dryer; good water pressure too.
There is an AC unit upstairs as well as heating if you have a cold night. Bed is comfortable and pillows were as well. Plenty of extra sheets, blankets, pillows too.
The stairs are a bit steep inside so just be careful! We would definitely stay here again; we were very pleased with our stay.
Owner was incredibly communicative, responded quickly and seemed very accessible if needed.
You won’t be disappointed!
