Great property to get away from the city and hang out by the river or play ping pong after hikes or outings.

We have an amazing time!!!

We had a wonderful stay, the house is relatively secluded and we thoroughly enjoyed the river and hot tub (especially my kids). The home had plenty of room and high-end finishes. It's also close to anything you need, grocery store etc., but also a great location to venture into Asheville or explore the outdoors.

We really enjoyed the stay here! It was close to everything. Communication was great as well!

Property perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed strolling through the backyard to the river. Rain prevented us making a pit fire and barbecue outside, but kitchen had everything we needed to grill indoors, and there was ample play space in the basement for ping pong and table soccer
4.8
Great spot. Driveway is steep. 150 foot steep trail to river.
4.8
Enjoyed being in nature but also really close to downtown Asheville! Chilly nights in the hot tub were great. (Bring a walking stick if you want to get down to the river.)

great property. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. perfect for two familiies with enough room to spread out but opportunities to gather and have a ping pong touney. we will be back

The property was lovely! We were staying there as a group of friends coming in from various places. The property was very clean and spacious. The amenities were perfect for what we needed. Everyone enjoyed their stay, and we did get to see a small black bear right outside! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Three couples met at this home to explore Asheville. Home was so well equipped-spacious-clean and comfortable. Fireplace-fire pit and hot tub were all appreciated. Very quiet residential area with a nice food store less than 5 minutes away. We loved our stay at this home.

Great place for a long weekend getaway. Very nice house and quite convenient to Asheville.

The cabin is clean, comfortable and great for a group of people! If we're back in the area we'll definitely stay again!

This cabin is beautiful, has everything you could need and is a really lovely place to stay. I called before we arrived to ask about recycling and was told that they do not recycle. When I got on site I found out they do, which was great! The area around the cabin is gorgeous. You can’t go wrong staying here.

We had a great time. The house handled our family well.
I did have 2 little suggestions. Pots and pans need to be updated and could use a little clearing of the path down to the river. Overall it was wonderful
4.8
Home was spacious and clean. Beautiful wooded surroundings. Good location with quick access to trails, downtown, and Biltmore.
4.8
Our stay was wonderful. The house was just perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Being able to walk down to the river was a huge plus. The kitchen was well stocked and the basement was a huge hit with my 20's kids. Fun playing pingpong.
4.8
It was a great property and the company that owns the property was as good as you could ask for.
4.8
We enjoyed our weekend stay at the cabin. Plenty of space for the 6 of us to spread out as well as great common space for all of us to hang out together. Easy to get an Uber downtown Asheville and at the same time felt secluded and private. It was raining most of the weekend so didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub nearly as much as the hot tub is not under a cover, but can’t change Mother Nature. Would definitely recommend.

Yonder (managing host) was excellent. The home was clean and the kitchen well equipped. Beds were comfortable and linens/towels were perfect. Loved the beautiful river in the back but the access to it from the house (and driveway access to the house) are both very steep. Certainly weather could play a dangerous role for both “commutes.”
4.8
Great house and close to downtown Ashville
4.8
This property was everything we could have hoped for and more. Very spacious and not far from the city. We especially enjoyed battling each other in ping pong downstairs. Would definitely recommend to others
4.8
House was close and convenient to downtown. River was a bonus, however, it rained alot so no fishing review from this visit. Management company was good to offer a refund for a mix up with cleaning. Overall a good quiet place to relax and hangout with friends and family.

on the list to stay again very nice home

Loved our stay, it was the perfect location and size for our family.

The layout of the home is great for gathering together with family but also for allowing space and privacy to retreat to our separate areas. The downstairs area was perfect for my adult daughter who appreciated a place to go after hanging out with her parents and sister all day. :)
Cabin "on the water" is a bit of a misnomer. You cannot see any water from the property. But once you take the 100+ steps down to the river, it's beautiful.
I will echo what others said about the great proximity to downtown and groceries, etc. The kitchen has beautiful appliances and is well-appointed.
I also greatly appreciate that the home comes stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent, paper towels, coffee filters...even ziplock bags and plastic wrap. We rent houses/condos every year--sometimes more than once--and having these basic items in the rental property is so helpful.
The only downside is that the deck area was not as welcoming as the pictures suggest. The outdoor furniture was filthy (we wiped down a few chairs to sit out there, but it would have been great to come out to clean furniture) and there are several bee and wasp (or maybe hornets? I'm not sure what they were) nests on the porch. We tried to spray them, but they returned every day. The weather was perfect and I really wanted to enjoy that outdoor space, but it was impossible with all the stinging insects swarming around.
Also, the downstairs kitchen could use a coffee pot. :)
I would highly recommend this property.

The house was beautiful and clean. Easy instructions for use of the house. The only negative was the driveway being so steep, but we got used to it. GPS for finding the house worked perfectly, the written directions supplied to us for finding our way there were not helpful, they were incomprehensible. We all enjoyed ourselves very much.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for our family of four. I only have two things that I would of liked to of known prior to the stay and tbh it may have been listed without me paying attention. Nontheless, there are no TVs in the bedrooms which was a huge problem for our family. Secondly, the path to the water is not the easiest and we are an athletic family. It’s strenuous. Again, not complaints just things I wished I would of payed more attention to. Other than that we had a great stay 😊

As a previous rental owner on VRBO I understand things come up especially during covid. We were supposed to meet another family down there for a few days. Prior to going we got Covid. We tried to cancel no money back, change the dates, or anything and yonder would not allow any changes. We did not think to get the insurance as we were all vaccinated. The house itself says it accommodates 12. There were four of us that ended up going and it’s a good thing the other group did not meet us as there would not have been room for them. It barely sleeps eight people. For dining purposes, there were two wine glasses four bowls, six plates. We would not have all been able to even have a meal together. Many things broken such as the back door the lights in the master bathroom the icemaker in the refrigerator. Definitely overpriced and I would not recommend Yonder or this cabin.

Our first time in Asheville and we wanted a property in the woods. Nice quiet private neighborhood within easy distance to downtown area. The house was well appointed and comfortable. Only concern at first was the steep driveway but it ended up being fine. Also the path to the river does not have a handrail all the way down and it does get steep.
Be aware also, though not the property’s fault but they may want to point it out, is that the roads leading to it from the main road are very dark…there are no lights what so ever.

Great property. Very close to downtown Asheville and convenient to hiking trails.
