***Villa Cleaning & Sanitation***
All villas are cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products. Housekeeping can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling is to be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
***Beach Notes***
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high watermark. Be advised, that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images displayed due to shifting weather and tides. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed***
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the summer months. Our owners will take measures to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival.
Should sargassum be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around Mother Nature.

Everything from the rooms to the pool were exactly as described.we couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay for our vacation.

The management staff was very responsive and helpful.
Great house for a group of couples since we all had a king bed and master suite (4 of them available). The deck/pool area was wonderful and used on a daily basis. The house is spacious and very comfortable. A highlight for us was having Chef Thomas Tennent cook dinner for us two nights were were there. Should have done that more (can't recommend that enough). Meals were amazing and Chef Thomas was great! I would note the house is right off the main road, so a bit of road an other noise. Also this is on the east end, so lots of traffic in the mornings and afternoon to get to the 7 mile beach area. On the flip side, we were much closer to things on the east end that most people maybe don't get to. We also got great sunsets! Overall it was a great experience, lovely house and we enjoyed it immensely.
4.6
The house was wonderful and had everything we need and more. The pool was lovely and the gazebo with the hammocks were always a big hit. It is a 30-40 minute drive to George Town and other tourist activities. Staying on property was relaxing and a wonderful way to spend the day. The snorkeling close to the house was uneventful as there is quite a bit of turtle grass by the shore. Overall this was an excellent place to visit.

My family of 4 and our family's best friends (another family of 4) stayed in the property and we all had a great time. Plenty of room; the bedroom with the king sized beds were comfy. There are so many wonderful places to sit and chat while enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean. We rented kayaks for use at the house and enjoyed paddling out to the reef. Many days we snorkeled right off of the property. I would recommend a car, but you probably would need one anywhere you stayed in the Caymans. Great house for various groups. We would stay again.

Great location locals next door very friendly and. Helpful with places to eat

The home and amenities were luxury! It was on the East End which was definitely the quiet end and it took us around 45 minutes to get to a Georgetown area which is where grocery, tours and experiences seem to be located. But Silverthatch Rental whom we rented through was great and attentive! Their website is very helpful with questions and services they offer. Would recommend our home to any family!

Clean, quiet, and the best view! We loved staying here! The pool was perfect for our group of 6, ranging from teenagers to a grandparent. We loved how peaceful it was on the East End, compared to the hustle and bustle of the West Side of the island. The hammocks on the beach were another group favorite, as well as the colorful sunsets every night. We also miss our chicken visitors, and the roosters! :)

Our family of 7 had a great time at Blue Serenity. The location was perfect for us. The pool is a great feature and our kids spent their time swimming between excursions. The owner is very welcoming. The ocean access isn't ideal for swimming or snorkeling right off the beach if thats in your plans. Overall, beautiful location that fit our needs perfectly. We will definitely be back.

The property is gorgeous on the inside. Relaxing ocean view from every bedroom. And spacious and comfortable. All the furnishings are modern. Pool overlooking the ocean was one of our favorite features. We also loved how private the home the neighborhood were. We love not being surrounded by loud businesses and hotels. True oasis. The water is so clear even without a snorkel you can see the fish.

2022 Family Vacation
The Blue Serenity was exactly as the VRBO listing. It was the perfect size for our 8 family members, clean and comfortable with plenty of space in each bedroom and in the living areas. It had everything we needed for cooking at home and the grill outside was great too. The pool was perfect with lots of lounging space around it. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back!

This property was absolutely gorgeous ( being that it was decorated in my favorite color helped me choose) the bedrooms were great and the beds were amazing. The location was good and easy to find, thanks to the color. One suggestion is to provide hooks in the bathrooms or towel bars for the towels. The house was clean and had all the amenities you would need for cooking.

Overall high marks for the home. Comfortable, clean and presentable.
Big disappointment when it came to snorkeling out front of the condo. No easy entry from the so called beach as advertised. Enjoyed our stay but would not come back. Best snorkeling on the island was by far Eden Rock Dive Shop and site.

We stayed in this house before and it very comfortable with amazing views.
It's a nice place to take the stress off and relax. The floor plan is set up for privacy with a large group.

We arrived after dark after getting lost several times. The sign is about 4x6 inches with 'Mahogany Cove' on it. Everything was as expected as per the online pictures.
We were not happy with the fact that the house manager did not know we were coming.
The door code opened the lower apartment but not the main house. We used the downstairs
phone to call Claudette and she was shocked that she had guests. She had not known.
She came over and was very gracious and sorry that the house was not ready. We helped as we could.
We were not happy that the road outside was so busy. The traffic noise was not our favorite. Everyone goes so fast! We knew it was on a road but not that it was so busy.
We were told that we only got 2 rolls of toilet paper per person (for a 9 night stay) and would have to purchase our own. Seriously? We have rented homes across the Caribbean and have never had to purchase our own. We also ran out of trash can bags and paper towels.
There was 1/4 cup laundry detergent left when we departed.
The next door neighbor cleared off his beach of plant material and dumped it in front of Mahogany Cove. We had proof of this as there were wheel barrow marks in the sand leading directly to his wheel barrow and rake. There were piles of debris in front of Mahogany Cove.
Everything considered this was not our favorite house nor was Grand Cayman our favorite island. It is unlikely that we would return to either. We have rented homes in the USVI and Bahamas in the past for a total of over 25 weeks. We came to GC because of the devastation in the USVI. We picked this house because of the price. We would recommend a house in Rum Point over this location.

This is a perfect place for multiple families. Stunning views.
Perfect place for our group of 2 families with 4 adults and 4 young teenagers. Highlights include stunning, picture-perfect views, incredibly kind owner who lives next door (unobtrusive but available, upbeat lovely man), dock in which you can see tarpon during the day and bioluminescent jellyfish at night, private beach with 2 hammocks perfect for reading and snoozing. The water is shallow past the dock so very easy and safe snorkel conditions for kids. The beach has sand but you definitely need water shoes for the water (all the kids loved it). The house has a fabulous waterfront porch perfect for card games and morning coffees. The house has an unusual configuration but was great for our group. Main living area has a master bedroom and a bathroom (shower) and then a room with a double and twin beds and bathroom (shower). The same floor has a third bedroom which is a mirror image of the room w the double and twin beds and bathroom but you get to it from the front porch- no access from the main living area. So, perfect if you have older kids like we did or adults who want privacy but don't need immediate access to the rest of the group. Kitchen is fine, has the stuff you need and there is a grill outside. We also rented the downstairs suite, which is great. It has a master bedroom, bathroom, small kitchen, small living room w couch and 2 chairs and a screened in small porch (table and 2 chairs has view of the ocean- lovely for breakfast ). This space would be ideal if the group had a family w an infant or toddlers as they could have a place for naps and early bedtimes.
Locationwise we were happy w it although we were intentionally looking for a spot away from the tourist areas. 20 min drive to Rum Point, Starfish Cove and the closest grocery store, 5 min drive to Botanical Gardens, Lighthouse restaurant, 40 min from Georgetown and 7 mile beach.
This is a relaxed, put your feet up beach house getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the downstairs apartment. It had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The bed slept well. The bedroom and common areas are equipped with their own AC units, allowing you to have each area set to the temperature of your liking. The view of Frank Sound is breathtaking. We will definitely come back again!

Wife Approved (part 1)
This place was absolutely great! Like I stated in the title, my wife loved it and she's pretty particular! In fact, everyone in our group of seven was beyond pleased and impressed. I was a little nervous due to the lack of reviews when we booked it, so I wanted to make sure it got its due justice so you would have a better feel about this amazing place.
The pictures are an accurate description of the villa. It is simple but clean and comfortable and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance you might need. We cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner regularly there during our 8 day stay. You have a full size refrigerator. (Stop at Foster’s right by the airport or Hurley’s on your way out) The three bedrooms upstairs are all very private and have their own full bathroom. The room downstairs is literally its own little apartment with full kitchen, living room, etc. This place will hold 8 with complete privacy and 12 will fit quite comfortably if they don't mind sleeping on a pull-out couch. The view is excellent and the environment is serene. We hardly saw another soul minus the neighbors on your left who are extremely nice and friendly but also private and will not bug you. This is not a long expansive beach but there is sand and it is nice and clean. Right along the shore there is some rock and it stays fairly shallow (1-3 feet) with some grass so it's not going to be a place you're probably going to sit in the water. Even being on the south shore there is a nice reef so you won't fight too many waves. There was always a nice breeze blowing in from the south/east so mornings and evenings on the outdoor screened-in deck were outstanding. The air conditioning works great and keeps the inside nice and cool. They have nice chairs to lay out on and a little gazebo with a couple hammocks. Near the end of the trip the girls decided to get massages on the beach under the palm trees. The whole place really has a nice vibe.
There is some snorkeling if you go out and around the dock to your left. Past the grass it will drop from being so shallow to 3-6 feet deep. About 30 yards out from that dock on the left there is a concrete block that held some lobsters and lion fish. One day my buddy and I swam all the way out to the reef. There is a little coral out there but probably not worth the swim. Spend your time taking a 10 minute trip to one of the many good spots on the north shore (Cayman Kai public beach around to Rum Point is EXCELLENT).

Our family holiday destination these past 18 years
We love Mahogany Cove for the quiet & peaceful island surroundings, the great fishing & snorkeling off the dock in our own "back yard", and the comfortable home-away-from-home feel of this very special place. We started coming to Mahogany Cove for holidays when the kids were small and found it so easy to vacation with our family and a guest or two as well. The lay-out of the house, with it's long beach-side screened porch, is perfect. The house is well maintained with up-to-date amenities and the property managers are friendly and always glad to help. We love the open kitchen and cook for ourselves most of the time, but also enjoy the nearby local restaurants and take-out places (for our favorite jerk-chicken). Our most recent stay was for our son's destination wedding and it was great to have all the family and friends out to the house to celebrate. We love coming back to Mahogany Cove and look forward to many more years of family holidays in our "Cayman home".

mahogany cove
I've stay at this house on many occasions and have always come back to the same house for years,it's like coming home to a old friend. The views from the porch is unmatched. To get out of bed in the morning and your first cup of coffee in the morning and have that view is great. the whole house has been completely restored over the past few years and it shows. I stayed in many other homes but this one just stands out. Not to far out of town, their are many local restaurants and pubs at local prices or you can on into town and spend far more, but will not get the local favor of the island. Over the edge, Kibo,Rum point to name a few. A great place to kick back and relax with your.....well you know.
