I hated to leave this charming cottage. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot. Cozy and comfy. Ducks to watch, a cat to befriend, super friendly owner nearby. Nature and nurture. It’s perfect to be away from it all, but five miles from a good burger and beer.

Very cozy and great location. The property owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Adorable little cottage nestled in a quiet neighborhood right on the lake. The owners live next door and were very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. We often got visits from their cat Obi. Our kids fell in love with him. He'd even come take a nap with me on the hammock from time to time. The cottage worked out fine for myself, husband and two teens. The teens each got their own space(one in a bedroom and one in the loft) so worked out great. As far as the area this cottage is located conveniently near shopping centers, restaurants and local hot spots like Rockland and Camden but away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty to see and do. My husband and son took advantage of the public golf course right down the road. This is the first time we've vacationed in this area of ME and it is beautiful everywhere you go. Stunning ocean views, beaches, state parks, museums and Marinas. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Feel like we only scrtached the surface on things to do in the area. Would love to return.

This is a quint, efficient, rustic cottage located within steps of Chickiwaki Pond. Great safe spot for kids to swim, boat and fish. It’s in a family neighborhood, with a wooded lot, allowing for privacy but, within close proximity to all the local amenities. Stacy was friendly and, very accommodating. I would not think twice about doing this again.
Thank you Stacy!!

This is the perfect little getaway and the cottage is serene and homey. You're right on the water and can enjoy kayaking or swimming or just taking in the view. The hosts were very communicative and understanding of my schedule changes. A great place to stay in midcoast Maine!

Sit on the picnic table, 12 feet from the water. Move a comfy chair, 10 feet from the water. Both great choices, especially with a fire in the stove toward dark right next to you. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Pictures do not do the setting justice. Property is perfect. Kayaks were well used. Daughter became instant friends with Obi the cat. Surrounding towns offered a lot to do. Wish we had more time.

The cottage was super cute, very clean, and very convenient to Rockport, Camden and Rockland harbors. I think "glamping" in the descriptions sells is short. It was a typical lakeside cottage, a bit rustic maybe with some vintage furniture-cute! charming. Relaxing on the couch, overlooking the lake through the huge windows, with a good book at the end of a day's adventure was a joy. Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous home base to many wonderful day time adventures of trail running, art gallery-ing, and local explorations. Such a quiet and cozy place, nice and clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. The morning light is stunning, especially during foliage season. Great location for easy trips to Owls Head, Beauchamps Point, Megunticook, Bald Mtn, and Beech Hill Preserve, with downtown excursions to Camden, Rockport, and Rockland. We had a wonderful time.

My husband and elderly mother and I enjoyed the beautiful views from this clean and comfortable cabin. The owners are available by text and responded quickly to communications. The pond is lovely and I even got to go out on the provided kayaks. It is private and quiet. Very nice to sit inside or outside and enjoy the beauty. We enjoyed a lot of sightseeing and some great seafood. Would recommend this lovely, relaxing cabin.

We had such a good time at this lakeside cottage. We were able to fish, take the kayaks out or simply just sit on the little beach and watch the sunset. We brought our two dogs with us and they couldn’t get enough play time in the water! We met the hosts and they were so nice and helpful, gave my boyfriend fishing tips and also told us about the good places to eat around town. The cottage was in a perfect location near two other cute towns , Rockland and Camden. Highly recommend this home for a peaceful and memorable vacation. We will miss waking up to the beautiful lake every morning!

Slice of Heaven
Pure bliss. Cute cabin on a lake. Whats not to like? We had a very relaxing time watching the ducks and loons, we napped in the hammock, and I had a few campfires under the stars. As an added bonus the resident cat would visit us a few times a day to make sure everything was OK. There are many activities to do during the day. Museums, lighthouses, schooner cruises to tour the bay and surrounding islands, hiking, birdwatching, etc..I highly recommend the cabin and surrounding area.

Perfect location for first trip to Maine
Cottage was picture perfect for us! Great location for all we planned to do. If I could change 1 thing it would be that we had more time to spend at the serene secluded cottage! Stacy and Radu are perfect hosts, there when we needed advice but leaving us with as much privacy as we wanted. thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to visit the coastal areas of Maine 💜

Perfectly Peaceful
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. A great location to take day trips from. Lots to see and do. But some of our favorite days was just to stay at the lake, feet in the water and reading a book.

This lake-view rental is beyond perfection
This June was my husband's and my first visit to Maine. We moved to the east coast from the PNW and were missing the west coast fiercely. Maine gives major PNW vibes while maintaining a little something special - we loved our visit. We split our time between York and Rockland. Our stay in Rockland, at Stacy's lake-side cabin was so lovely. When the description says the cabin is right on the lake, it is truly about 20 steps from the lake. The cabin is quaint and well-stocked, very sweetly decorated and surprisingly private! Stacy was easy to reach and made the check-in process very smooth, you can tell that she is a very experienced host. The cabin is small but not cramped, myself, my husband, our two dogs and our toddler were all very comfortable - we were able to fit our daughter's pack n'play in one of the bedrooms without issue.
The location was perfect, it felt secluded even though it was in a small neighborhood but we were only minutes away from downtown Rockland.
There are kayaks and paddle boards included with the rental and paddling around the lake in the mornings/evenings was so lovely. We saw osprey, loons and ducks! And Stacy's kitty made frequent visits (he was such a sweet boy!). The outdoor stove/fire pit and hammock rounded off the fun stay.
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect second stop for our trip. "Life is better on the lake" is a little sign on the cabin - and it could not have proven any more true. Thank you Stacy for a lovely stay!

Beautiful little cottage Perfect location!
Had a wonderful stay, was just too short! Awesome location with so many places near to explore, trails to hike, great places to eat, and lots of other things to do. It's the perfect place to just hang out, sit in the cozy nook and read on a rainy day, or kayak, have a campfire, or listen to the loons at night.
Stacie and Radul were wonderful hosts! Will be back!!

Great Lake cottage
Stacy’s lakeside cottage was the perfect base to explore the mid-coast. Very peaceful yet close to all Rockport and Rockland have to offer. While the cottage is not air-conditioned, the breezes through the numerous screened windows cooled the space perfectly (and fans available too). Nice touches were everywhere including binoculars that we took with us on our puffin tour. Unfortunately they continued back to Tennesse with us, oops. Stacy was very understanding 🙂. Our 6 year old loved the ladder/loft and especially Obi! I would stay again given the opportunity to return to the area.

A quiet getaway
Spent a nice fall birthday weekend enjoying the views and the perfect weather. The water is beautiful and clear, the yard is cozy and has a fire pit and picnic table. The owners made great use of the space both inside and out, you feel like you’re on a secluded spot with your own access to the water. We were disappointed that the kayaks and paddle boards were not in usable condition, and the fire wood provided was not covered so it was too wet to burn. We had been looking forward to both of these amenities, the firewood was an easy fix the recreation equipment, not so much. Regardless, we were happy to find a dog friendly spot in such a convenient location.

Beautiful spot
Wonderful weekend away with my mother in the cozy Rockport cabin. Perfect location, so close to both Camden and Rockland with the peace of the lake and privacy of being out of town. Definitely recommend for a small group or couple and the dogs were happy there as well

Restful and serene
Simple cabin from the outside nestled down a slight hill overlooking the lake which invited you to the door and when you entered it was so nicely laid out and the furniture was welcoming. Then you turn and the big windows looking out on the lake are perfect with an L shaped sofa inviting you to sit, relax and enjoy the lake. I enjoyed sitting at the waters edge enjoying my tea in the morning watching the Mallard ducks and the hill opposite starting to change colors . Then at night watching the stars, listening to nature and the water ripple from the wind. Perfect setting, wonderful 'cabin, priceless view....just perfect for what I needed.

Great little cottage in a beautiful setting
We loved the location, close to grocery store and fast food yet feels miles away. Comfortable and extremely quiet. We enjoyed eating meals and having a fire by the water as well as playing cribbage and visiting with the resident kitty. We hope to return someday!
