Come warm up with a cup of cocoa and a roaring fire. Relax with your favorite movie or challenge yourself to a game of pool. This beautiful log home is located in Maggie Valley and puts you in easy driving distance to the Valley and all the area has to offer. Come ski, tube, take in a show, dine, shop, horseback ride, visit the elk, walk Lake Junaluska, step back in time in neighboring Waynesville, try your hand at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino or just come spend a romantic getaway in a true mountain setting. The cabin is beautiful and great location. I had problems with the accommodation for one of the rooms. My kids weren’t able to use the Sofa bed. It needs to be replaced. The downstair room had an awful smell. The cabin did have tissues, paper towels or shower personal care. The place is absolutely beautiful and I know this comments can be easily fixed.

Great cabin close to Cataloochee Ski area. My adult children and I met up for the weekend to get in a couple of days on the slopes. We loved Mountain Haven. Plenty of room for the five of us to all have our own space. We really enjoyed the pool table. It was too cold to be outside but the deck looked great with a lovely view of the mountains. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was close to everything in Maggie Valley. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My Maggie Valley short get away was awesome. Maggie Valley and surrounding areas have a lot of neat things for the whole family. A trip over to Cherokee scored a great view of the elk herd just inside the National Forest.

We loved the sound of the stream and the views from the deck and expansive living room windows. The beds were very comfortable. Sid was very easy to work with. We would definitely stay again on our annual trip. Some guests made mention of the driveway. It’s no different than any other cabin we’ve stayed in. It was nice to have the garage, if needed.

Drive very angled for travelers with trailer. Very deep small gravel that your Vehicles sink in...hard to get out if parked close to cabin. Sent email to Carolina Vacations a week before our arrival and received no response on hauling a trailer with motorcycle s...if we needed to make other arrangements. Cabin was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house itself was well kept and clean. Listening to the creek was very pleasant. The only negatives were the view in the picture online is better than the view in person. Also the deck could use some cleaning. Other than that it's a great house and we had a wonderful time.

This was a beautiful cabin, that comfortably accommodated the six of us. The motorcycle riding is excellent however the steep gravel drive was definitely a challenge for large bikes.

Rental house had a few issues but only minor (Several light bulbs out/needed replacing. Master bed had no comforter due to a delivery problem with the dry cleaner. Carolina Vacations called and advised us of this prior to our arrival.). Carolina Vacations was great to work with.

The wall of windows in the family room affords a great view of the many trees on the property and a long-range view of the mountains. The multiple decks gives one ample opportunity to sit and read or just relax and listen to the small brook that runs along the property. The kitchen was very well equipped. We loved our stay at Mountain Haven!

Quaint lil spot. perfect for what we needed. Stream running in front of the cabin, enough room for everyone and everything we needed for a relaxing girls weekend. The driveway is a lil tight so backing in would be the best way. Also has a garage downstairs beside the pool table area. if you're a light sleeper take ear plugs. it's a cabin and wood settles and creaks. Beautiful sunrise through the front windows or off the balcony. def will make this a yearly trip!!

Cabin was very nice. Driveway is a bit dangerous. TV and programming could use a major upgrade. Very difficult to use and very few channels. Toilets need updated to something more appropriate for adults.
