Centrally located in Kirkland, a 15 minute walk to Lake Washington waterfront with lots of parks, shops, restaurants & of course great coffee that Seattle is known for! 2 miles to the Kirkland Google Campus and 5 miles to Microsoft main campus, makes this location ideal for business stays as well. Also conveniently located to 3 major medical facilities, Evergreen, Kaiser Permanente and Overlake medical centers. The studio has a private bath and private entrance with off street parking and a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy in the warmer months.

I was traveling for a work conference in Bellevue and am so happy I chose to stay in Kirkland rather than a big chain hotel. The property was exactly as described, very peaceful and serene. The accommodations were perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed and exceptional shower, as well as the beautiful back yard porch. Barbara was very helpful both before and during my stay and a joy to meet. It was very easy to travel to Bellevue each day for my meetings and enjoy the lakeside events in Kirkland and surrounding areas. Highly recommend staying here and I look forward to visiting again!

My husband and I stayed here for our first visit to Washington state (Seattle area) and we were thoroughly impressed with Ms. Barb's attention to what we needed, whether it was an iron, extra towels and even sugar 😁. It's a cozy and comfortable room and it was immaculate. Ms. Barb even gave us recommendations on places we should visit and where we can snag a bite to eat. The backyard was a zen garden. We will definitely be back.

I’m joining the fan club for the shower head and bed! In all seriousness, this was a cozy and homey place to stay. The unit’s layout was well thought out and maximized the space available. The unit was clean and all amenities were top of the line. There was an outdoor area where we could sit outside and enjoy our meals. Barb and Bella were the most gracious and thoughtful hosts. Will be back!

Barb was the perfect host for this property. She was there with anything I needed. This small property was perfect for me since I was traveling by myself. Two people could fit. There is outside seating that you can use as well. I will definitely stay here if I have another trip to the area.

Barbara's zen next was great. Great room, great bed, great shower. Unfortunately, due to weather, was not able to enjoy the backyard, but, if you are there during good weather, take my word for it. You will surely enjoy it.

It's not big, but it is comfortable and cozy, and Barb was a very gracious host. Very comfortable bed and luxury shower, together with a nice patio outside was all we really needed. We will be back the next time we visit!

This place is a perfect choice instead of a hotel room. Very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. You will have a hard time finding a better host. For those who have complained in the past about the lack of air conditioning, there is a brand new air conditioner and it works well. The back yard is superb. It's a great place to relax. The bathroom is modern and the shower is fantastic. You get a nice little fridge and coffee machine. Thank you Barbara for a very pleasant stay. Andrea

This room was just perfect for my stay. First afternoon, I spent time on the lovely patio. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. Bed was very comfortable. Nice alternative to a hotel room! Close to everything that I needed on the east side!

I loved my stay at Studio Zen. I stayed for 3 weeks while in town for work and it was such a beautiful atmosphere to come "home" to each night. The bed is comfortable; I slept great each night. The rain shower head is such a nice luxury. Newly installed AC kept the space nice and cool during some hot days. Outside the Studio door is a tranquil yard and patio with very comfortable seating. Barb was welcoming and so helpful with anything I needed. I'll definitely stay again if I don't move back to town first.

We loved staying at this location. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in great condition. Barb, the owner, was attentive, and helped us with any need we might have had. Her puppy, Bella, was a delight! The location is amazing! So close to downtown Kirkland. In a very nice, quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this property and we will be back! Rebecca B

Nice quiet location and beautiful house. The host was very helpful and communicative with anything we needed. Loved the surroundings and the bathroom. Some feedback: - The bedding and the coffee mugs provided had an odor though, which was a big damper. - There is no AC and we could not control the heating from our room, so it got pretty hot one night. - Would be good to add some basic utensils like plates and spoons and a microwave. There is a mini-refrigerator, which was very handy!

This tiny studio is very quiet and private, just the perfect retreat between busy work days. The back yard is the quintessential Pacific Northwest paradise. The hostess is lovely and very helpful. Zen studio is a great description.

Kirkland is a great community to stay in. Barb’s a wonderful host! Her house is located close to downtown Kirkland and steps away from an inter urban trail. Very safe area. Very clean and was perfect for our stay. Her dog, Bella, is a treat and fun to have around! I’d stay there again for sure!

Simply put, everything was perfect. I will absolutely stay here again. My room and all of the amenities including the WiFi, TV, Streaming, warm/comfortable bed and heated floor were perfect. 🎯I look forward to my next visit.
