The location of this property is in a very nice (safe) neighborhood and it is centrally located to get to the most popular St Louis activities in a short time. The beds are comfortable and there's plenty of seating for a group. The listing is accurate. We will stay here again!

Great location and nice place.

We had a ball. The house is wonderfull. The neighbors were nice. We hope to return a couple of times a year.

Sue was a gracious host. Her home is just that, it feels comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. The fact that it opens up to the living room really helps. We will be back.

The property is charming, spacious with 2 gathering areas and 2 darling little reading nooks. The kitchen was well supplied. It’s a great location in a beautiful old neighborhood, very walkable and overlooks a wonderful park. Parking always available right out front. It was warm and cozy. Our delightful host was available to answer questions. We will be returning to St Louis and hopefully can stay here again.

This apartment/house was bigger than I expected and had everything. Plenty of room to not be on top of each other. Wonderful and peaceful neighborhood in a nice part of town. Close to anything you could want to do. We will be back again!

Clean and so comfortable. Quiet, nice neighborhood. I truly haven’t been more comfortable in a rental.

Location is great and Susan was very good with communication. There is a problem with the A/C but if this is fixed or window units installed I would highly recommend this property.

Comfortable and homey apartment with view of park and good kitchen amenities. Quaint reading nook and light filled sunporch lovely spaces. Kitchen open to tv room nice for meal prep with conversation. Location is superb for hitting all ST L attractions with easy access to 44 and 64. We are coming back! Thank you, Susan!

We had a problem that was rectified, which I really appreciated. We thought the place was charming and would certainly stay there again.

For some context I was in St Louis for an event and it was July and very high temps.
Fri I arrived in St L and went to the event first to set up as check in was not until 4. It was very hot and I got over heated so by 430 all I wanted to do was cool off. It was 84 degrees in the apt when I got there. I immediately turned the temp down but it was 100 degrees outside and it's an upstairs apt, it was not cooling down quickly at all. I left hoping it would cool down but that was not the case. At this point I'm starting to feel nauseous and had a headache. I did contact the owner and she said
"Sorry if the upstairs isn't very cool. If you adjust the temp lower, it will eventually get cooler, but with a slate roof, the second floor is hard to cool down in 90+ days."
Ok so if it is known that its hard to cool in higher temps, than have some other options or do SOMETHING before a guest arrives. There aren't fans in all the rooms to help air flow for example.
All the towels and linens felt low quality and scratchy. The shower curtain was only a liner and sticks to you and at one point the rod fell down completely.
The vents are on the ceiling and it drips on you above the toilet which was disgusting. The toilet paper was 1 PLY and the corner of the sink hits you in the back every time.
There was some kind of pet dander that caused an allergic reaction and should have absolutely been disclosed on the listing. Not a place I would recommend or stay again which is unfortunate.

You cannot beat the location, right across from Francis Park and close to everything in St. Louis Hills
My only complaint is the internet. The unit does not have its own internet connection, using the signal from downstairs.

Perfect location! Park across the road. Perfectly centered for all our adventures!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this quiet, comfortable home. When we weren’t out enjoying antique shopping nearby we appreciated the lovely view of the park across the street. The neighborhood felt safe and it was pleasant to see so many walkers enjoying the quiet park. Lots of parking available in front or just steps across the street. We look forward to staying again.

The location is great and overlooks a great neighborhood park. It is a good sized space with a full kitchen, had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels and sheets which was great. It's an older house so the floors are squeaky but didn't bother us. We had a great stay.
4.7
Everything was great. House was clean and beautiful. We had a great time and loved our stay. We will be telling everyone we know to rent this house in when they travel to St Louis.

We had never been to St. Louis so did not know the area at all. Did we luck out!! We stayed in the upper flat of this house in the most charming neighborhood!! It was such a lovely area and close to so many activities we wanted to do! Of note, we were located just off Old Route 66 so this added to our experience.

This is a great property in a very nice neighborhood! It has plenty of room to sit and relax in several cool nooks, and all the essentials.
There’s no problem parking on the street, a beautiful park across the street, and many shopping opportunities within a 5 minute drive.
There are also quite a few very good restaurants close by.
We’d happily return if in the area!

We reserved & paid in January 2023 for Memorial day weekend. I messaged the property contact 2 hours before our arrival asking about check-in procedure. Property manager responded that they had no knowledge of our reservation.
Called VRBO & spent 40 minutes explaining and proving reservation. Upshot was host would not honor our prepaid reservation & we had to find somewhere else to stay.

A great location for me because it was close to my kids and granddaughter. Whenever I had free time, enjoyed the wonderful view of Francis Park. Hostess was very accommodating.

This was my second stay here and I’m sure I’ll be back again! The location is great and the host is wonderful to work with. We truly enjoyed our stay.

It proved to be a beautiful neighborhood and near-perfect location for us, with comfortable beds, a big picture window, and a delightful sun room. We spent most of our days out, but it felt like coming home in the evening.
4.7
Quiet neighborhood. Lots of street parking in front. Across from a beautiful park with playground. Large living area for hanging out with family. Clean. Lots of linens and towels. Nice hardwood floors, a bit squeeky. Kitchen small and sparsely furnished for cooking. Luggage up the stairs to second floor so pack lightly. I have stayed here twice and definitely would go back again.

We've stayed here before and the apartment continues to be a great place to stay in STL. It's spacious and clean and in a great neighborhood with the park right across the street and sunlight pouring in the windows. This place is great.

We stayed here for 4 days for a school reunion. The property was clean and just as described. The location was great. We would stay here again.

What a wonderful weekend! Our family went to two Cardinal games and the zoo! Both places were within 20 minutes of this house. This house was very clean and located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Many good restaurants nearby! I hope to stay here in the future!

Very comfortable and homey. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Though it is a duplex, it feels very spacious. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and extra linens.
Beautiful park across the street, very easy parking.

This house overlooks a beautiful quiet park with lots of walkers and joggers and families and their pets. Short drive to good restaurants and fun things to see and do. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

The house was great, exactly what we had hoped for and the area was fantastic - close to everything in the city yet very quiet and safe. Sue was lovely and really helpful also.

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. Both kids had their own sleeping areas and it helped give us a little bit of space, unlike a hotel. It was clean and had everything we needed and it was very homey and comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely - very quiet, really cool houses, and a beautiful (huge) park across the street. We will definitely be back when we visit our daughter who now lives in Affton. Thank you, Sue!
