My husband has a hard time with steps so this was the perfect house for him. It was close to our daughter, and very well kept.

Location is great. Doesn’t take long to get to downtown or any of the main attractions. The pizza place on the corner was perfect and welcomed for our arriving nights dinner and the gentleman (owner perhaps??) who waited on us, was very kind. The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. It took a bit to figure out the thermostat and we never could figure out how to raise volume on living room tv but it wasn’t a big issue.

Family of 4, stayed for 3 days/2 nights. Very nice for us to come "home" to cook and watch movies since we were out and about during the day. Kids loved the bunk bed. Our bed was quite comfy as well. Couch could have been better but overall, we were vey happy with our stay. Location was great as well!

I would give this house a 4.5 star for sure. It was just big enough for our family, 2 adults and 3 kids under 6. The house was extremely clean and perfect size though if there were more of us we would definitely not fit. The only issues we had were the bunk bed is extremely squeeky, the living area furniture is not comfortable and if the doors are locked and no one is in the room, good luck getting it open. Our son shut our bedroom door with it locked and it started our vacation off on high emotions. Other than that i would definitely recommend staying here!

Took my family to visit friends in St. Louis. Place was very nice and clean. Walking distance to a couple bars and pizzerias. Met our needs perfectly. I would recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the stay here as a family of 5! The house is way more spacious than the listing pictures show, which was a pleasant surprise. We loved the ease of access to everything in St. Louis each day. Below are our pros and cons-
Pros-
- Location is fantastic for all things exploring St. Louis
- House is spacious for the location
- Well redone interior with all amenities needed
- Easy communication with host
Cons-
- Street parking (busy at times which leads to having to park down the street a little.)
- Loud bunk bed (The bunk bed was a little loud as the kids shifted around during the night.)
Overall we truly enjoyed our time and would stay there again!

Very nice little home. Made our stay very comfortable. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Conveniently located outside of the downtown hustle but close to everything you'll want to do while you are there

This place was perfect. Within 15min of every major attraction St Louis has to offer. Several pubs and restaurants within a 1 minute walk. The neighborhood felt very safe. The price was cheaper than a hotel for an entire house. When I return to St Louis I will book this place again in a heartbeat for my family.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family of 3 to explore STL. It was close to all the places we planned to visit, easy parking, and a cozy feel. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

This 2 br / 1 bath house is comfortable and set up well for guests. Communication was clear and prompt and checkin was easy. The neighborhood is really good, in that it's quiet, conveniently located to St. Louis activities, and has restaurants and other stuff within walking distance.

Family of 4 for a two night stay. Neighborhood was nice and felt safe. Parking on the street in front of house was convenient. Unit was clean and well stocked. Check-in process was simple.
The stay could’ve been more comfortable had the bunkbeds been more stable/sturdy since it would squeak loudly with any little movement from our tiny 75lb, 12 yr old daughter. The noise carried to the adjoining room disrupting sleep. So much so, we sent our daughter to her Aunt’s house on night two so everyone could get a better night sleep. I wouldn’t recommend putting anyone on the top bunk, not even a small child due to instability/noise. The queen size bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable, but felt smaller than a standard queen. Bed felt more like a full size instead of a queen. Couch in living area was cute but not very comfortable. All furniture felt low quality and could use an upgrade. Ventilation in the home was an issue. The place never seemed to cool down to the temp on the thermostat. I got the impression that the temperature was preprogrammed or controlled remotely because it just never seemed cool upon returning even with the air set on 67 and ceiling fans going, which normally would be cold for myself.
All in all it was a decent stay that was somewhat underwhelming due to the items listed above. I’m torn if we would re-book for a future stay due to the bunkbed not being very functional for our 2 kids we need to accommodate.

I would most definitely book again. Everything was as in the pictures. Enough room, priced right, great location. Pizza parlor next door was good also! Thanks again!

Excellent experience. Place was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom which is very much appreciated. Neighborhood was good and we were always able to park on the street right outside the house. Felt safe walking around. Would book it again and recommend it to others.

This place was perfect for our spring break. It had everything my family needed. It was so close to everything, zoo, aquarium, City Museum, Grant's Farm. It's right next to a cute little downtown and easy to get on and off the freeway. Would stay here again. Thanks!

This was a nice little house. The area is well lit, the doors are sturdy and the locks are strong.
The area is very quiet and we heard no sounds from the street all night and felt perfectly safe parking our car out front.
The house was clean and was above expectations for the great deal we got to stay here. The furniture was modern, and a bit uncomfortable in the living room but the back patio and yard are an excellent place to sit when the sun is shining. Everything was updated and well kept. The furnace is new and worked well for us, and the windows were solid.
The Pizza Go Go next door is AMAZING!
We will stay here again next time we go see our granddaughter.

Great location for the trip. 15 minutes to all major attractions. Safe, clean, and quiet. Back yard was nice. We made friends with a robin and a rabbit. The kids loved going for a morning walk around the neighborhood.

Stayed here while in St. Louis for 2 weeks. Extremely clean and well organized. Kitchen had everything including a Keurig with supplied K-cups plus a regular coffee maker. Lots of other supplies also like paper towels, dish soap, etc. Little things like having light switches and drawers/cabinets labeled was very thoughtful.
Great location -- in a very nice neighborhood with several parks within walking distance. Also lots of shopping and restaurants just a few minutes away.
Host was great and very responsive and easy to communicate with.
Overall very warm and comfortable -- felt like home in a lot of ways. Could not have been nicer or worked out better.

My husband had a complex medical treatment at Washington University medical complex and was required to stay within a short distance of the hospital for several weeks afterwards. This was a perfect spot. Clean, open concept, easy entry, great kitchen, several nearby food spots, washer/dryer. It had a second small bedroom so that friends could stay there when I could not. Easy drive to the hospital in ~10 minutes.
It would have been great for a work stent in St Louis or for a vacation but it was perfect for our purposes.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! Everything was clean and the home well equipped! Location was great! We seemed to be 5-10 minutes away a from everything we wanted to do. Communication with Jon was great! Highly recommend!

This house was a great place to stay in St. Louis. It was a central location to everything that we wanted to do, and the rooms worked perfect. The smoke alarms were very sensitive and went off when we were making breakfast, but nothing was smokey. After we got those turned off, we didn't have any other problems.

Short story: Great place and I’d stay here again. Overall 5 stars. Some pretty small stuff below but wasn’t enough to ding anything substantially.
More details: Safe neighborhood, though too far to walk to any of the major STL attractions. However pretty centrally located so Uber is reasonable or driving was really never longer than 15 minutes.
House was very clean, newly remodeled and great for a single or small family. Towel rack fell off once I put a towel on it but that’s pretty minor. Owner said they will replace and provide a small screwdriver set should it happen again. Nice to see some shampoo/conditioner/body wash available if you forget yours. More than enough towels, which you don’t always see in a VRBO.
Queen bed was comfy. Kids had no complaints on the bunk beds.
Kitchen was great and just a massive sink with excellent faucet. Really need a simple drying rack though. Kitchen utensils could have used a simple spatula for flipping (only one was a massive metal one for grilling) and a pizza cutter. Again, just minor inconveniences.
New heating/cooling system. If you’re not familiar with the system I can see it being frustrating so having some simple instructions would be welcome.
Smoke detectors are super sensitive and went off multiple times when using the oven. Recommend putting foil or something under the grates to catch any drips. I loved the new gas stove.
Owners were great. Communication was quick and friendly.
