Homey and spacious; great location to excellent restaurants; beautiful view of Mt. Shasta from deck. Close to many outdoor activities.

Our group of 9 people including teenagers and children enjoyed the stay at Shasta star. The property is cute and well maintained. Everything is as described.
Some things to improve - the property is old and some of the doors are not locking well, especially the smaller bathroom. Also it was hot when we went and the AC is not functioning very well. Thankfully there are fans/coolers provided.

We loved staying here! We had five teenagers and two dogs with us and we were very comfortable. The place is close to a lot of shops, restaurants, and stores. It was also a short drive to the snow. I highly recommend this place.

Our family met in Shasta for a family party. Our group decided to stay at Shasta Star instead of a hotel. So glad we did! We loved the proximity to downtown shopping and restaurants. It was quiet with a beautiful view of Mt Shasta.
One thing to note is the master bathroom has a connecting door to the hall outside the bunk room. So if you’re hoping to have your own bathroom off the master, you have to lock the door to the hall and tell your family to use the other bathroom! We managed!
The deck is great with umbrellas to shade from the sun and plenty of chairs. We spent some time out there in the mornings and evenings.
Beds are very comfortable! The pull-out couch wasn’t comfortable so the 2 adults slept on the couches. Good thing one of them is short so she didn’t mind the loveseat!
The stairs were a bit much for our 80 year old dad. He was stubborn and insisted he could carry his luggage and ice chest up but let us help him upon checkout. He was fine if he wasn’t carrying things, though.

Quiet, clean and cozy we would stay there again. Air conditioning units where loud and only one of 3 worked but fans where provided by the owner. It was mild temperatures so it was not an issue for us.

Ideal Location! Walking to everything you might need. Very comfy!
We had an excellent stay! Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
There are stairs to get up to the unit that may be difficult for some. Back stairs are easier to navigate.

I love how this location is above a crystal store. The energy in the home is wonderful. And when you dream at night, I felt like the crystals just amplified my dreams. I will definitely stay there again, next time I am in town.

Good accommodations overall
Great master bedroom. The layout of the rooms requires the guest room guests to have to walk the length of the house to use their restroom at night.

Great place, great location.
Great place with great location. There was a plumbing issue that could not be resolved during our stay which effectively made the place a 1 bathroom home, but we still had a great time.

Sweet, neat and well stocked kitchen
We loved staying at this house in mt shasta. It was perfect for us. Upstairs was accessible enough for our active family. And the kitchen was well stocked which is great because we love to cook.

the perfect place to experience the magic of Mt Shasta .. and Telos.
We have been coming to Mt Shasta every year for 10 years for our spiritual work ... but it is the first time ... that I feel that the group lives in such a perfectly special place.

Great place to stay in Mt. Shasta
This 3 bedroom apartment located above a fun crystal shop is a lovely place to stay if you're visiting Mt. Shasta. It's located a quick walk from the downtown area. The interior is very nice with comfortable couches and beds, nice decor, plenty of bath towels, and a fully stocked kitchen with all just about everything you need, plus full sized washer/dryer. The two main bedrooms and the living room have A/C units (much needed if you're visiting in the summer), but the small bedroom with bunk beds doesn't have A/C. There are two full bathrooms. The back deck has an incredible view of Mt. Shasta, plus a gas BBQ. There's also a pretty garden area for guests. You will hear the train going through town throughout the night so be prepared with ear plugs if you're sensitive to sound. Our host was super responsive. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Awesome Property!
This property was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend and would definitely rent it again. The stairs could be challenging if you have mobility issues, but other than that, great! Beautiful view of the mountain off the deck too.

Jewel in Shasta
THE RENTAL PROCESS:
The rental process was very easy. Quick response from manager/owner so communications were perfect. Emails with instructions for check in and out were specific and easy.
THE PLACE:
WOW! This place is gorgeous and fun and the location was perfect. The home is very comfortable and decorated super cute. Also very clean. Tap water tastes AMAZING! I don't know why, it just does! This was a good halfway point for me to meet my sister from Central Oregon. We met there with our adult kids and our grand kids (2 and 3 yrs old). The location is perfect as there is a grocery store literally less than 300 yards away. Shopping, pubs and restaurants all walking distance. We spent a day chasing waterfalls and went to McLoud Falls it was only about 30 mins a way. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again. What a jewel this place is!

Wonderful place to stay!
Of all the places I have rented in Mount Shasta over the years, this one is by far the nicest. It has been beautifully updated, and is well equipped with everything you need. You are literally across the street from a grocery store, and steps away from everything. I will definately be back.

Great spot in Shasta
Great place. Great location. Great view. We loved our stay here and even got used to the trains coming through the town each night. Everything we needed was in the house and the location allowed us to walk for anything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again.

Gorgeous well appointed property with view of Mt.Shasta
My best friend, daughter, myself and our 4 senior doggies thoroughly enjoyed the property. There is a nice fenced in yard, balcony to view Mt. Shasta and it’s located near shops and restaurants. The only challenge was the stairs are steep and for anyone with issues should request a lower property. We were fine but did carry a 50 lb. dog up and down the stairs as her advanced age prevents her from being able to go up and down.Overall, the beds were comfortable and every room was decorated beautifully! Trains do go by during the night but we didn’t mind!🤗

Very good location. A Charming House
The house is charming and it is very good location.
We were given all amenities that anyone expects and we all enjoyed the stay.
The only drawback is that the bathrooms doesn't have locks. We have to let everyone know that someone is in the bathroom so no one will enter.

Perfect except the wifi!
Very clean and comfortable and great back deck with view of mountain! We had a great time and felt completely at home. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots and utensils. The only complaint is that the wifi was unreliable and our requests to reboot went unanswered. We would definitely rent this place again!

Pleasant stay
1.House is old with antique items in it. we liked that.
2.House is in great locations where mountain can be seen very closely and all the other scenic locations are near by.
3.House is not maintained properly, as it is old house
locks doesn`t work properly. rest room locks were the worst of them.
4.some of bulb/lamps were not proper, they were in auto on-off mode.
you will feel scared in night.
5.AC was not working. Could not found the way to switch it on.
6.Internet was too too slow, signals were very weak.
7. TV is not configured correctly, we could only found satellite channels which were paid, rest nothing.
overall stay was good, as we explored more things outside of the house.
