About this house rental

A Home from Home in the best street address in Northern Ireland according to the Sunday Times.
A comfy Victorian home which has plenty of character and is part of the Titanic story.

Nearby Ballyhackamore Village (walking distance) has all the shops, restaurants and bars you will need to enjoy your stay.

The space
Situated in one of the best areas of Belfast, you will have an entire home with accommodation which is perfect for:
- Vacationers,
- Business Professionals coming to Belfast/Northern Ireland,
- Travellers coming to special events
- Families looking for a flavour of the local culture.

Many of the local workers and foremen would have made the journey to work from the house to the Docks to work on the largest man made object in the world - you can retrace their steps!

ACCOMMODATION

This is a spacious three storey Victorian house adjacent to famous Cyprus Avenue, probably the most beautiful tree lined Avenue in Belfast.

Being a Victorian house built in 1895, the house is full of character with ornate cornice, has lovely wooden floorboards and comfortable sofas and beds and is very clean and easy to heat. It is bright and airy and a warm and friendly place to stay while in Belfast.

The house is full of all mod cons you would expect, including Wifi.

Guests will have the use of the kitchen, and an open fire (on request). The kitchen is generally fully stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits and cereal which guests are welcome to.

All towels will be provided so you can travel light and save on excess luggage!

If you have a CAR there is plenty of ON & OFF STREET PARKING. If you are coming by BIKE I have a secure ground anchor at the side of the house.

ROOMS

There are FOUR rooms available spread over two floors in the house.

This makes it a perfect home away from home for:

- THREE couples to spend the weekend instead of in a hotel
- couples with up to 6 kids
- groups of up to 8 friends coming to gigs/events/conferences

LOCATION

Belfast is buzzing. The accommodation is convenient to so many places of interest. Within a two mile radius you can visit The Odyssey Arena, Belfast Waterfont Hall, The Titanic Quarter, Belfast City Hall, Queens University, Belfast Opera House, or go on an open top bus tour to see the famous Belfast Murals and the stories behind them.

I live just off "Cyprus Avenue" which the famous singer Van Morrison sang about – Van ‘s childhood was spent literally around the corner and there is now a Van Morrison trail where you can retrace the lyrics to his songs. He still walks around the area undercover - so come and see for yourself his inspiration and you never know, you may bump into him! – check out the 1970’s clips on You Tube!

CS Lewis, the author of the Chronicles of Narnia, lived within a two minute walk - you can visit his birthplace, his school, and 'Little Lea', the inspiration for the Lion the Witch & The Wardrobe. So this area is packed with history.

George Best, who became British Sportsman of the Century and runner up to Muhammad Ali in the World category of the BBC's all-time greats was born locally and his restiing place is nearby Roselawn Cemetary.

Rory McIlroy was born and has a home locally, so this area also has sporting pedigree and so many good golf courses - you are soplied for choice.

The accommodation is also within walking distance of shops (Tescos & M&S), independe architecture, vibrant nightlife and unique attractions, and if you would like to go to one of Belfast’s great restaurants, I’ll happily give you some advice. Guest access If you have a CAR there is plenty of ON & OFF STREET PARKING. If you are coming by BIKE I have a secure ground anchor at the side of the house. Other things to note Guests are advised to have their own personal policy of insurance in case of accidents, personal injury or loss or damage to property.
