This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom beach box is just steps away from the beach located in Kill Devil Hills. This beach box can host up to 8 guests who can relax on the spacious front porch while enjoying the fresh sea breeze along with the sounds of the crashing waves. Spend your days by lounging by the beach and your evenings in the backyard grilling and playing a game of cornhole. This beach box is located just a half a block away from the beach and near some of the fabulous local restaurants!

Although you will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen at this beach box, there are several restaurants within walking distance like Mama Kwan’s, Kill Devil Hills Grill and Miller’s Seafood & Steak House.

The Cottage is so cute & beautifully decorated. It’s located close enough to walk to the beach. I’d had surgery the week before & we had buried my Mother-n-law the day before we arrived so it was just what we needed to relax, unwind & recover. 10/10 recommend!!

We had an enjoyable time. The house is located near all kinds of amenities. The property manager was quick to reply, and attempt to fix the issues we had with the house we would definitely go back.

Loved this house! The only complaint is While it is only 1/4 mile away from the beach I feel that should be stated instead of Steps from the beach. Other than that it was an awesome week!

We loved everything about the vacation. The house was perfect for the 5 of us. It had everything you needed to enjoy the week at the beach, all the restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend this house.

This cute house was ideally located to everything! We had other family staying at a near by house so loved the location and pricing. The house had everything we wanted, especially the outside shower. My kids loved the sand pit area

We enjoyed our stay it’s very nice. Actually we were there for 3 nights. The week that we were there was very cold windy. We weren’t able to go to the beach, but we were able to go shopping.

Great stay kids really enjoyed the sand area and all the toy movie’s and game that were there seeing it rains 2days and us as adults enjoyed ourselves as well With that being said here are the cons No coffee pot The beds were out dated and very uncomfortable Furniture could use some upgrade All I all we had a great time considering the weather and the cons I would rent again if they made a few upgrades Thanks

House was spotless and ready. We had a problem with the shower drain not draining well (a common problem if you have a household of women with long hair) but Tracy responded in about an hour to my email and it got fixed. Could not ask for more.

We had a great time here! Very much enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying coffee or a glass of wine. The location was very good and nearby restaurants and shopping. The swings and sandy area were a nice touch for my daughter. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The beach is a short walk away and the rental had everything we needed inside and for the beach. The street is pretty quiet and we enjoyed the variety of DVDs. Bringing towels and sheets and having to bring toilet paper was a new rental experience for us but worked out ok since the grocery store is also at the end of the block. The front deck and rocking chairs were nice too. I would recommend adding a small table on the deck by the rocking chairs to place thinks on while you rock.

This property was perfect for the group of 6 of us friends to stay together. Two bathrooms, a living room and space in the back to put out some lawn chairs and enjoy some sun out of the wind. We love to go out to eat but we also love to cook so the kitchen was wonderful and they had all the utensils, bowls, pots and pans needed. The location was perfectly central, with most of our activities being within a 10 min drive, though the street isn't too busy so it still feels quiet. There were also a few places that were walkable or bikeable. The only location downside was that the closest walkable beach access was near a storm drain so you're not allowed to get in the water, however a quick jaunt down the beach and you'll find a good spot to be. Overall we would highly recommend this spot for a fun getaway.

The hose was great and on an easy street to get in and out of. We spent a lot of time on the Porch. I didn’t see see in the listing that all linens needed to be provided ( kitchen towels, sheets, and bath towels) I would also make sure that TP is packed and readily available if you’ve had a drive.

Easy check in process. First time using VRBO, so we weren’t sure what to expect. No communication from owner outside of email for check in/out process. Seems everyone talks about the great suggestions and such. Was a nice place and would consider staying again. However; the disorganization and aged appearance cookware was a put off. Carpet is definitely older and dining table chairs were not very appealing either. Worked for us as adults because we didn’t spend much time inside.

We absolutely loved staying at this house. I prefer the old school beach house. Layout is great for spending time with family. Porch is super sweet and is shady most of the time. You can feel the ocean breeze. Crossing the road to get the beach is a little dicey, but we ended up driving to other beach accesses anyway. My kids loved the bunk beds and I loved that everything is on one level for our 2 year old. Hopefully we will book it again in the future. Nags Head and the other areas around the Outer Banks are pretty spectacular.

My family and I loved this house! It was cozy and clean and better than the pictures. My 2 year old couldn't get enough of the swing/sand area and we even found a few toy trucks that he could play in the sand with. I had one minor issue and even though it was late, Tracy responded right away. The beach is a less than 5 minute walk away along with several restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Tracey is an amazing host. We communicated lots before our trip about the property, things to do around town that would suit our family, best places to eat, etc. She was also fair with pricing when we booked early before the 2021 prices went in and honored the 2020 price. The house is SO charming. She really thought of everything! We packed WAY too much stuff. The little sand area downstairs was great. The carpet on all the floors was a treat for us and the learning to crawl baby. The house stayed nice and cool, something we were worried about with the kids. The bathrooms were updated. Kitchen fully stocked. Loads of DVDs. The beach was only 2 blocks away. Just perfect. If you’re in the fence about what place to book, this is it! Thanks again!

Overall it was nice. There were a few things that I didn't like,but it wasn't anything bad. The storm door was hard to shut. I had problems with the key code arriving, and leaving, but called maintance and he helped me. It was cold in the house most of the time. The thearmostat stayed on 66 degrees.

We had a great girls getaway here. The home is so cute, very clean, comfy beds and even swings! The public beach access was at the end of the road and we loved being able to walk to it and many local restaurants. Host was very friendly and offered lots of suggestions on where to go for a first time trip to OBX. All in all, 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
