About this house rental
This stunning, single-level architecturally designed 5B/4.5 bath, 3,500 square feet newly remodeled home overlooks the Pacific Ocean, with white water views and sounds of the surf brought in from floor to ceiling windows. The large bright chef's kitchen with 6 burner gas stove, double oven, two sinks and wine refrigerator, overlooks the spacious living room and wood burning fireplace, all opening up to an expansive deck and fantastic views of the ocean. Dine outdoors on the deck with the large gas grill and dining table, or become mesmerized with the sights and sounds of the ocean as you relax on the chaise lounges or conversation seating area. Privacy abounds on the 1.07 acre lot, near a grove of immense redwood trees forging their path to the ocean. Sink into the large adirondack chairs with your favorite book, on a patio overlooking a quiet, peaceful and colorful garden, where quail and song birds delight in their paradise. A garden path leads up to a private bench. Another path leads to the new hot tub with powerful jets and a special Cal Spas ozonator cleaning system. A bathroom with hand shower opens up to the side deck near the hot tub, offering a clean-up area after a romp on one of the many beautiful local beaches. Three of the bedrooms and the office have ocean views and open to the deck. One bedroom overlooks the garden. The fifth bedroom suite has a separate entrance, with forest and ocean views. Walk down to the end of the cul-de-sac and pass the "private property" sign (for our community only) to the bluff-top and view the secret cove, where a stream falls down the rocks to merge with the ocean, as the waves crash onto the rocks below. Or cross the small bridge to find the secret meadow with another meditation bench overlooking the cove. With four large Smart TVs with an extensive selection of satellite channels, Quinta da Bela Vista is a great place to relax, recharge and restore. Aproveite a Vida! We stayed here for a 50th anniversary celebration for my parents. It was perfect for our needs! Great location, perfect size for us (7 total but 5 are adults and 2 17 year olds). It was such a nice time!

You will love this house from the moment you pull up into the beautifully landscaped gardens and then open the door to the stunning views. The main bedroom and bathroom are amazing with a double headed shower and huge walk in closet. The kitchen has the most up to date appliances. We stayed with adult children and their grandparents and I can't say enough about the house, the deck, the neighborhood and location. You will not be disappointed.

The house is gorgeous, the views are spectacular. Diane was great to work with the whole way through. Very responsive to questions, great communications. The ten of us were there comfortably for the four days. Kitchen is well stocked and there were no issues cooking for this many people.
Location is also great. Less than 5 minutes to Mendocino, 10 or so to Fort Bragg. Neighbors are friendly and everyone waves to each other in the community.
All said, I heartily recommend the property.

We have been making a yearly trip for about 10 friends for over 25 years and this is the best house we have ever rented. Gorgeous house, fantastic views, superbly well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and blankets and everything worked. Great host. Everything you could ask for.

Our stay at Quinta Da Bela Vista was absolutely wonderful. The house is beautiful, warm and welcoming. Ocean views are stunning. Diane has thought of everything that guests might possibly need during their stay. It would be perfect for a family holiday gathering. The view is gorgeous, location prime and the outside area, including the jacuzzi are all fabulous. Communication could not have been better. This is quite honestly the best rental we’ve ever experienced.

We rented this house for family and friends to stay with us for our son's wedding. It was awesome! It's clean, well decorated, well appointed and beautiful. The view cannot be beat! Our host, Diane, was very responsive and helpful. If we have an opportunity to stay in Mendocino again, we will definitely try to rent this property :)

Very roomy and well furnished. Very comfortable for a large gathering. Excellent kitchen, and well stocked. Great location on the Mendocino coast, near the town of Mendocino and close to Fort Bragg. Wine tasting about an hour away. Couldn’t have been nicer.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a quiet neighborhood, and the location couldn't have been better. Amazing view of the ocean in every room and the home was equipped with anything you could need, from doggy beds and blankets to a well-supplied kitchen. It was very nicely designed as well. We would definitely stay again.

This home is by far the perfect choice for families/friends with lots of privacy due to the layout of this beautiful home. The home was spotless inside and out and so welcoming and user friendly. The kitchen is wonderful for making any meals should you decide to. The deck with all various furniture and spa was an added bonus for us.
We could not have picked a better home for us.

The pictures don’t show how amazing this house really is! The views are spectacular. The gardens are professionally landscaped. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The architectural design is all angles and very cool. The layout provides space and privacy. We highly recommend this listing!

We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. We were visiting family in the area and we all felt like we were at home. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. This home is in the perfect location so close to downtown Mendocino and a short skip to Fort Bragg!
This was the most user friendly home owners I have ever used. They were prompt in responding to me at anytime and kept things short and sweet. We cannot wait to go back. I do have a question for the owners ... I see there is a space downstairs is this another part of the house to rent? Asking because we plan on renting again in the summertime. Our extended family of 6 had an amazing Thanksgiving long weekend at this beautiful home. The deck and views as well as the hot tub brought much relaxation. The neighborhood path on the cliff made for amazing family Christmas card photos! Kitchen was well appointed for preparing our Thanksgiving feast and we enjoyed lovely evenings by the fire playing games and watching holiday movies. Easy drive into town as well for shopping and an amazing dinner on Friday. House was clean, well stocked and our dog loved the dog bed with blanket! Our host was very responsive and provided a ton of great info before our arrival. Pretty much a perfect Thanksgiving holiday!!

The picture do not do justice to this house and location. The back deck and master bedroom has amazing views to the ocean. The house is immaculate with all the upgrades. Great for family reunions.

We rented the house for our family (3 couples). The property was spotless and better stocked than any place I’ve rented before. The kitchen was well equipped, large, and was easy to work in. The living spaces were spacious with lots of windows. The large deck had lots of seating and beautiful ocean views. Mature landscaping provided plenty of privacy. Did not use the spa or sauna, but both were clean and ready. I would definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay! Home was modern with many high end updates. Very clean. Beds were comfy. I liked that there were plenty of towels and blankets. The furniture was very nice and high quality (unlike most vacay rentals)!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely and spacious home. Stunning views and close to hiking, shopping and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms comfortable and the living room a great place to watch movies near a warm fire. The hot tub was a wonderful place for us to relax after and active day. Bella Vista is beautiful
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely and spacious home. Stunning views and close to hiking, shopping and restaurants. Diane's home is spectacular! Very clean & lots of beautiful living space. The secluded location with a view of the ocean is fantastic - we even saw a few whales in the distance during late migration at end of Oct. The sauna & jacuzzi add another level of relaxation! Wonderful restaurants in Mendocino - dine in or take out too. We are sure to return!
