This property is as true ski in ski out as you can get! The condo is not just located within a ski in ski out building. This condo is on the ground floor, right on the edge of the slopes. You can literally ski to and from your door. The hot tub is also just a few steps from your front door, but just far enough away to maintain the privacy of this condo. There is an elevator and there are some steps down a heated walkway to get from the building entrance to the condo itself, but once you're there, you'll have the ultimate ski access. Plus, you'll be met upon arrival by the local caretaker, who will help you with your bags and getting your bearings. The building is located right at the end of Ski Time Square Drive, so you'll be able to walk anywhere in the base area easily, including many shops, restaurants, or the ski school and ticket office. If you want to head farther away, such as to the grocery store or downtown, you still don't need a car! The free city bus picks up in Ski Time Square year round. There is also a private shuttle that will take you to the Gondola Transit Center, anytime between 7:30am and 4:50pm everyday during ski season. So this building is a great location with private shuttle service, hot tub, free wifi, and a fire pit too. The condo is the best unit in the building for ski slope access, and thanks to attentive owners, it is also nicely updated & well cared for unit.. It has very comfortable, tasteful furniture, and surprisingly spacious rooms. The bedding setup, living room furniture, and dining room are all designed to accommodate groups of 6 to 9. If you're not skiing, you'll have plenty of opportunities to watch others who are, but you can relax and enjoy the view from the warmth of the condo, or on your patio with crisp fresh air and a warm cup of coffee or tea. We loved this Slopeside condo. Easy access to the slopes and the hot tub for soar muscles afterward. We would love to stay here again!

As others have mentioned, it’s a bit of an exercise to get to the unit - enter on 6th floor, elevator to the 4th, then stairs down to the ground level. We are all in decent shape, but lugging my 70lb bag up the stairs at the end was no picnic.
HOWEVER, once you get there, the front door is literally 10’ from the slope. The condo was cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was very tiny but well stocked with pans, dishes, utensils, even a crockpot - stew cooking all day makes an amazing meal after a day of skiing. It’s a 10 minute walk to the village, skating, and lots of dining venues. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip. We dined at Cafe Diva - the service and food was to die for-delicious.
The unit had several humidifiers, which we loved. Another plus is the unit (located right at the intersection of Right Of Way and Headway) is one of the uphill skinning trails - so satisfying: hike up & be the 1st down!
The hot tub is a community one, which was very close & clean - literally open the front door, take one step, turn right, open the door, take 1 step, turn left, open the door and you’re there. But with it being a community tub, it was a mixed bag. About half the days we had it to ourselves, the other half another couple of respectful ppl. There was one day with teens smoking weed & 1 vomiting over the hand rail. Obviously not within the control of the owner and clearly against the community’s no smoking anywhere on the premises policy.

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend and had a fantastic time. It’s such a great location on the mountain, and the ability to ski back and have a quick snack at any time was a big perk. The condo was very clean, and had had very easy access to to hot hot. I’d recommend this location to anyone looking to book a small group vacation to steamboat!

Great property for skiers. Once we got all our gear and food down from the parking lot we did not leave for four days. Just skiing day in and out from first chair to last. Hot tub just steps away. Awesome time! Not much on TV but we had a stack of Warren Miller DVD’s for evening fun!

If you want to step out of the front door and on to the slopes, this is the place! I think the listing is pretty accurate - there were no surprises for us. Getting from the car park to the unit takes some effort. Really, that was the only drawback for us. The apartment is warm and has everything you'd need in there. We loved our stay.

This is the first property over the years we have stayed in which literally you walk out your door and you can ski and it is easy to ski back in!

The only challenge we had was that the elevator only goes down to the 4th floor and you must walk down 3 flights of stairs to bring luggage and groceries.

We could not have been happier with this ski in ski out rental. Frank the owner was absolutely superb very clear and concise in his communication. We love being able to walk right out our door and start skiing and this way it allowed people to come and go as they please and we did not have to all go everywhere in one big group. It’s also very easy to walk to slopeside Grill and T bar. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and the property was overall very comfortable if we had a great time I would definitely come again! It would’ve been great to have washer and dryer inside the unit but having the one dryer to dry our ski clothes was definitely nice!

Truly ski in- out. Perfect location on slopes Shuttle only operates to 4:50pm so if you want to go anywhere after this time, you need a car. Very comfortable home, hot tub only steps away. Great stay!

Great location
Once we got through the labyrinth of walkways, elevator and steps, we found this property to be perfect for our group of 6 adults. I was a bit concerned that there would be enough room for all of us, but we were very comfortable. We loved how it is on the edge of a ski slope which made it so easy to ski in and out. We had one issue with the condo which was taken care of immediately by the property management. We hope to book this property again in the future.

We love Steamboat!
This property is an amazing ski in and ski out. It was so nice to do a few runs, and then warm back up in the condo , and have lunch, or a drink when needed. The master bedroom is very comfortable, but the other beds in both bedrooms need new mattresses, they are way too hard, especially for those staying a whole week. The condo is nicely equipped with sleds, and everything you could need in the kitchen, except we did have to provide trash bags, paper towels, and dish soap. Honestly I don’t think we will stay anywhere else in Steamboat:))

True ski/out, but...
The condo has great ski access, but it is on the 1st floor with NO elevator until the 4th floor. Everything has to be carried up and down 3 flights of stairs. It is by the hot tub and building's outside access to the slopes, so no privacy and noisy. There was a leak in the refrigerator that the management/owner were aware of two days before we arrived. We were there 6 days no repairman no contact from anyone.

This was a great location once we got to it. Truly the best ski-in/ski-out possible. We hadn't adequately understood where to find the key but our text messages to the property manager were answered immediately. Be warned that there are 4 flights of non-elevator stairs to get to the front door though. Communication with property owner was also positive.

Location and comfort!
We had the most wonderful time at this condo!
The owner and manager were easy to work with and made the whole process easy. We had everything we needed to make our week go smoothly.
The condo is super comfortable with good linens, beds and plenty of comfy seating. The kitchen is well equipped and has some of the basics so you don't need to buy every last speck of food (salt & pepper, etc)
The condo could not be better located - nothing like skiing right to your patio after a long day and wobbly legs. The patio faces the sun all afternoon and was a warm place to sit and watch the skiers coming home at the end of the day. It's location is everything they say! The entry way has plenty of space to store everything you need for skiing, cubbies for mittens and hats, racks for skis and poles and a convenient bench to gear up for the day.
The hot tub is also located right next to the condo so made for a quick trip back to the condo in wet clothing.
The arrival and departure with baggage is a little tricky but is made easier by an elevator - In the end you do need to manage some stairs. It didn't bother us much because you only do it twice your whole stay and you are in your regular clothing versus doing it every day in your boots after a long day of skiing!
