We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in Falmouth, MA. The home exuded a warm, homey atmosphere, filled with unique and interesting knickknacks that added to its character. The owner was fantastic with communication, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—not directly on the beach, but just a short walk away from both the sandy shores and the piers, making it easy to enjoy all that the area has to offer. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient getaway!

My family had a wonderful stay in North Falmouth. The home was clean, extremely well-stocked with towels and beach essentials, and very close to the beach. The owners were responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

This property is awesome. We only had 3 but it could sleep at least 9 comfortably. Basement game room was awesome and side and back decks were super. Very short walk to the beach. The cottage is an older house but well preserved and updated. The nautical decorative theme is very well done. We had a very relaxing stay. 2 1/2 baths and 4 large bedrooms.

Cozy house near the water with a great closed in porch

We had a wonderful vacation. The images don't do this quintessential cape house justice. The side porch is huge and welcoming. Richard is a fantastic host. We had a slight snafu at check-in as the housekeeping company hadn't yet arrived and the prior vacationer forgot to take the trash. One text to the owner and housekeeping was there in a jiffy. The house has everything you need for the perfect beach vacation and the location could not be better. Literally steps from an amazing beach, blocks from brand-new pickleball courts and easy access to the Cape Bike Trail.
I can't say enough nice things about this stay. Even the neighbors are nice. Thank you for providing a place to make our family visit so memorable.

The property was as nice as promised. Accessible to many cape activities and nicely equipped. We were very happy.

This property was amazing and perfect for my family's getaway to Megansett this summer. Perfect location right next to the beach, and the property had plenty of sand and water toys (buckets, chairs, umbrella, kayaks) to use. The house is older, but that added to the charm. The wall A/C units all worked well and everyone enjoyed their stay. It will definitely be on our list to stay in again in the future!

This house was in an awesome location, was very easy to access, and has plenty of space for family and friends. There were plenty of places to sleep and was only minutes away from restaurants and bars. Richard was an amazing host and was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this house to get togethers with family and friends!

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Beds were comfortable with nice linens, as mentioned in earlier reviews there was a lot of knick knacks. Might not be suitable for small children, also all bedrooms were up steep stairs. Side porches were nice with small water views, great neighborhood, short walk to the beach

We loved our stay. Basement was great for our teenagers, there are two areas to the deck one for eating with a table and one with chairs which was also great. Short walk from the beach and public tennis courts.

We had a fantastic week enjoying every aspect of this great old Cape house in the awesome Megansett neighborhood of North Falmouth. Highlights include the side porch where we spent lots of time, the short, easy walk to the beach to swim in the warm Falmouth water and the overall charm of the spacious home. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen is well-stocked and we moved the homey vibe. Don't miss Somerset Ice Cream, Epic Oyster for dinner, The Stand for breakfast and the Old Main Mercantile store. We hope to rent this lovely house again.

Old but nice
Overall this property is nice, the place is old and has a lot of squeaks and creeks but it’s location is fabulous and the owner is extremely responsive. We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a third full bathroom/shower as listed(turns out there’s an outdoor shower in the yard) but not how it’s listed however the less than 5 minute walk to the quiet nearby beach made up for it. We had a small ant problem during our visit and Richard offered to address immediately. He really seems to care about his guests and make them comfortable. We enjoyed our stay but not sure we’d stay again, would like to check out one of the other towns next time. Thank you Richard for your hospitality.

Great Stay in the Cape
The house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with Megansett Beach within walking distance. Richard was so easy to communicate with, so prompt with responses. We enjoyed having dinner out on the deck after a long day of exploring. The beds were comfortable, the basement was a fun gathering place for the kids. There were plenty of beach supplies if you ever need them.

Comfortable Stay
Cozy home in a quiet safe-feeling neighborhood. Cute porch but furniture needed to be cleaned and some chairs replaced/repaired.
Minutes from Thomas Landers ferry port to Martha’s Vineyard and a great coffee/breakfast sandwich shop called the Daily Brew.
Day of departure, leave enough time to wash/dry/fold bed linens.

A wonderful, cozy getaway
My wife and I were looking for a nice clean place to rent in Cape Cod to get away from NYC for a week. This house was everything we could ask for and more. Additionally, the owner was very responsive and kind, making sure we felt welcome for our stay.

Great family get away
We chose to stay in N Falmouth to be close to family, but even if you don't have ties to the area, it's a great location for a relaxing week. Public beach right down the street and little shops restaurants a very close drive away. Falmouth ferry only 15 minutes away.
The house was perfect for our family (4 adults, one child and one infant). Plenty big enough and could have slept several more. Comfy beds, good wifi, stocked kitchen, it had everything we needed. Very comfortable, and the in-window A/C kept the house cool even in the 80+ degree weather. We will definitely be staying again for our next trip.

Good place, but a few issues
Biggest issue was the enormous number of nick-nacks about the house; there were large and small ones on just about every surface. We constantly had to monitor young hands (two three-year olds and one one-year old) that were grasping the intriguing items. Finally had to move everything three feet above the floor.
Other comments:
- Lighting was a little deficient, and the 40-60 watt bulbs did not
help.
- Outdoor show was nice to have
- Lots of towels for the beach
- Easy walk to Megansett Beach
Generally, was a good place. We are considering renting it again next summer.

Lovely Cape Cod house
Gorgeous old house in a perfect location close to the beach and in a nice quiet neighbourhood, the house is well furnished with comfortable furniture and welcoming beds.
There are a lot of ornaments in every room and because we had a couple of very inquisitive young children we did spend time moving everything out of reach when we arrived.
Lastly, it was a pleasure to detail with the owner, Richard responded quickly to each and every email and is a shining example to other property owners on this website who do not even have the courtesy to respond to enquiry emails.
If we return to Cape Cod this will be our first choice vacation rental.
