A Lovely Alpine Resort with Stunning Views

The property is primarily a Ski resort in the winter, but it was well set up for summer visitors. It is located on the edge of Kaprun, but only a short, flat walk into town. Our rooms were large and airy, with a balcony overlooking Alpine meadows and the massive snow topped Mt Kitzsteinhorn in the distance. On a morning sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea, the only sound was the tinkling of cow and goats bells in the meadow. Such a beautiful peaceful place. Breakfast was served in the hotel building and was extensive with both hot, as well as cold items on the menu. The staff were all very friendly, informative and spoke good English. What made this stay special was the Summercard we were given to use. This gave you free entry or discounted entry to nearby attractions. We had free rides on the cable cars to the top of Mt Kitzsteinhorn, Mt Maiskogel, (54Euro & 34 Euro (respectively), a free boat ride at Zell Am See, free entry to Krimml Waterfall and a discount off the Grossglockner drive. We reckon the Summercard saved us around 230 Euros.

As its a Ski resort I dont suppose there is much call for aircon in January, but in a July heatwave it would have been very handy. Also the toilet was in a separate small room from the shower room, it didnt have a hand basin in the toilet room to wash your hands in after using the toilet. In a post Covid world it seems an oversight that should be rectified.

Good breakfast, nice small pool and friendly staff.

Apartment was a disappointment, felt humid and was no possibility to air it out. Kitchen nook is very basic, room small and bed not comfortable.

Modern hotel with the included wellness Spa

The hotel is modern, wellness is included in the price. Hotel has 3 saunas, outdoor pool, relax area. In case you are looking for a bigger wellness - Tauren Spa Therme is just a 5min ride. Parking is available. Ski storage room. The staff was very kind. We loved it.

The shampoo was missing, but we received it on the reception.

good location, beautiful views, friendly staff- receptionists and bartender were super helping and amazing, everything was clean

the hotel is good, but the rooms need refresh and refurbishment, pillows were super uncomfortable and need replacement, spa facilities is good but quite small

Prefect hotel in Kaprun

Great location, just a short stroll to the ski lift. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and helpful staff. Dinner in the restaurant was also great. Room was clean and comfortable.

The pillows on the bed weren’t great but that’s it, and it’s nothing really.

The apartment furniture is worn out and smells bad, also the internet works for some time and then the service disappears, I asked the receptionist to remedy the situation and change the apartment, but my request was not fulfilled. I had to go to another hotel and the booking was not refunded nor did they apologize for my bad experience with them.
