It was wonderful

The property is exceptionally clean and the staff are absolutely wonderful. This place is a rare gem in the heart of the Drakensberg. The hiking trails are beautiful.

9/10 would recommend

Beautiful location, lovely staff. All meals were very good. Prompt response by hosts to queries and willingness to accommodate special requests. Clean and comfortable rooms. Modern bathrooms and underfloor heating were appreciated. A very well looked after property that is also well run. Will definitely return

Die Lage ist einmalig und wunderschön. Das Essen war gut.

Wir hatten Ameisen im Badezimmer. Die Managerin hatte diese dann mit einem Spray behandelt. Als wir vom Abendessen zurückkamen, lagen hunderte tote Ameisen im Badezimmer. Die Managerin war freundlich und bemüht, allerdings in der Situation etwas unbeholfen. Ich habe die Ameisen dann im Anschluss selbst entfernt. Die junge Servicekraft war im Rahmen des Abendessen/ Frühstück nicht sehr freundlich. Der Pool war schmutzig. Für den hohen Preis ist meiner Meinung nach deutlich mehr zu erwarten.

Expensive and just good for the view.

The view, possibilities of hiking to a cave and in the montusi summit.

Nobody to answer during an evening problem. No gaz for the heater. Diner and breakfast really common.

Perfect 3 night getaway in the beautiful Drakensberg

Beautiful location in the Drakensberg and lovely, clean, comfortable and well appointed chalet. Stunning grounds and facilities. Awesome staff!

I loved the friendliness of staff members cleanness and very comfortable as well me and my family really enjoyed our stay at montusi mountain lodge

relaxing, left alone in peace but plenty to take part in

the quality of the garden suites, the variety of activities morning walks yoga etc. very quiet. staff were wonderful the chef was high quality - my wife is vegetarian and a full menu was provided -the location was stunning

Quiet, serene, relaxing, small number of chalets

Fixed price dinner. Maybe at least 1 alternative like pizza or fish and chips option, rather than set menu. After a long day out you just want to relax with dinner in your chalet

The entrance and dining area beautifully set out. Spacious welcoming and cosy. Overlooking beautiful views. Our cottage was very spacious with a small lounge area. very clean

The view was amazing. The hotel offers a lot of activities in the neighbourhood and they are very helpful the give you information. We did a hike tour that the hotel organized and it was an amazing experience. Our guide could tell us a lot about the environment. The food (dinner and breakfast) was also very nice. The room was big with a nice terrace.

The wather of the pool was not clean. But maybe the reason for that was the rain of the days before.
