Clean comfortable beautiful bed so comfortable.
Nothing to dislike.

The restaurant is good, and as a whisky drinker, the selection of whiskys is outstanding.
The room is comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
4.2
The staff were extremely helpful, ran off there feet with how busy the restaurant and bar was, but made sure everyone was with a drink or with food.
There wasn't one single thing. Fantastic hotel, and would 100% recommend it.

The elevation of whisky at the bar is brilliant.
The damp smell in my room.

Noisey annex (from other guests & walls were not soundproof) out the back, very uncomfortable bed.

Lovely breakfast, brilliant location, and one of the best whisky selections anywhere in the world (and I;ve been all round the world in pursuit of whisky). Super friendly staff!
Having to go home!

Great breakfast options and plenty on the plate, a filling start to the day

Great location and homely
First room was cold and we requested to be relocated.
Second room was better.
The bar closed at 10pm. We were offered drinks in our room, though it would have been nicer to sit by the fire with our drink .

Breakfast at a window over looking the garden after the bird feeders were replenished was a delight, in fact the highlight of the visit along with whiskey recommendations from Peter and Julie at the amazing whiskey bar.

Breakfast best meal I had there
The temperature of the bedroom, and the service when having an evening meal.

Very nice and attentive staff. Good bar and nice dining rooms. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty. Location has beautiful views, easy access to park and waterside, and easy walk to shops. Staff arranged a cab to the airport for us.
The double bed was a bit small for the two of us.

I wasn’t bothered and could come and go as I chose
the room didn’t have a full length mirror and the mirror mmm on the wall was too high.

From the first moment arriving at the Ardshiel every thing was easy. We were given our room key & on entering the room it was lovely & spacious & very clean with high a ceiling & a beautiful coving all around it looked lovely. All that you could need from toiletries to towels all fresh & clean. It also had an ironing board & iron tucked away in the wardrobe if you needed it.
Tea coffee facilities with a kettle & mugs were in the room.
We ate here for breakfast & evening meals as we were out most of the days we stayed in Campbelltown visiting the area.
Glad we ate here because the food was lovely. ( well done chef & all kitchen staff & waitresses). You can eat in the restaurant or the garden if you want to. The garden was large & a pleasant place to eat or just to have a drink to relax & unwind.
This hotel has the best selection of whisky you will find anywhere.
The Ardshiel is only a short walk into Campbelltown which has a few coffee shops, eateries & gift shops. The Loch itself is absolutely breath-taking with the hills & mountains surrounding it. But then again the whole area is breath-taking. You only have to drive a few minutes to find something all inspiring.
Back to the staff which lets be honest makes an hotel, the staff here were all polite, friendly & helpful I cant praise them all enough. I would like to single one lovely lady out, Valerie who was on reception & was outstanding she helped us out by giving us advice in trying to find my family past & present which we were able to do.
Some of the people I met in Campbelltown knew of my late Grandparents & other family members which was a great help to us. Such a lovely place to visit & a real hidden gem.
Nothing to add here. It was all perfect.

The location, rooms and meals were good.
Nothing, although I thought it a bit pricey.
