Good stay, small investments would improve experience.

Overall, the stay was comfortable and everything went well. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was rich with many options. The staff was helpful and smiling.

The shower - the touch sensor shower control would be cool if worked intuitively and reliably. Last morning of the stay i was not able to take a shower - cause i was not able to turn it on...regardless i touched possibly all combinations of buttons... Additionally, 2 small points for improvement for small money - 1- Power outlet near bed would be useful. 2- Some English channels would be super for those who does not speak German. Alternatively - if you unblock HDMI in TV's so i can put my USB-powered streamer from home.

De bedden vond ik erg hard helaas, maar dat is best persoonlijk want mijn partner had er geen last van.

Preis-Leistung stimmt hier leider nicht

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Köln und somit ist alles schnell und einfach zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war vom feinsten und genügend für jeden da. Der Mitarbeiter vor dem Restaurant war super nett und sehr offen.

Beim einchecken fuhr mir der Mitarbeiter über den Mund, weil ich zuerst fragte, wie das mit dem Parken hier läuft. Er sagte, wir sollten erst das mit dem einchecken klären. Mit seiner hochnäsigen Art vergaß er die 2te Zimmerkarte zu aktivieren. Mit dieser ich natürlich unterwegs war und danach nicht auf mein Zimmer kam. Das Bett war sehr unbequem und alt. Es gibt neben dem Bett keine freien Steckdose, da hier Nachttische aus den 80ern stehen. Um elektronische Geräte zu laden muss man diesen vorziehen und die Lampe ausstecken. Selbst dann hat man nur eine Steckdose. Das Hotel bittet mit allem sparsam umzugehen (wenig Wasser zu benutzen, Handtücher mehrmals benutzen) aber verwendet immernoch Glühlampen statt LED. Das Badezimmer wurde scheinbar vor kürzerer Zeit renoviert. Daher ist es um so schlimmer das die Silikonfugen schon Schimmel ansetzten. Das Waschbecken mit einer überstehenden Mamorplatte zu verzieren ist ganz schön aber dann sollte man auch darauf achten, dass die inneren Ecken auch gereinigt werden ! Im Zimmer hat es von Anfang an, nach alten verschwitzen Sportschuhen gestunken. Auch hier sollte man vor Neubezug gegenwirken.

Köln ist immer wieder eine Reise wert.

Gute, zentrale Lage. Nahe am Rhein. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sehr gut erreichbar.

Das Haus ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Es fehlen Steckdosen am Bett bzw. Nachtisch. In Zeiten wo man gerne ein Handy laden möchte, ist es veraltet, wenn man dafür eine Stehleuchte oder ähnliche Lampen erst ausstecken muss, um dann das Ladekabel anzuschließen.

Mal wieder schöne Tage in Köln erlebt

Lage perfekt

Parkgebühr viel zu teuer. Zimmer nur mit Klimaanlage und man kann das Fenster nicht öffnen ist man nicht gewohnt ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.

Karte von Stadt und planungshilfen am Empfang, haben mir sehr gefallen, Frühstück war lecker, Personal sehr freundlich Zimmer schön

Fenster ließen sich leider nicht öffnen, und ein Wasseroberfläche wäre toll gewesen im Zimmer sonst alles top.

Very good

Location of hotel is good. Close to square with restaurants and bars. Short walk to shopping streets. Exit at back of hotel is good to Rhine and chocolate museum. Junior suite well laid out. Also good the housekeeping staff don't enter your room if you have 'do not disturb 'sign up

We couldn't get late check-out even if we paid some extra which we wanted as our flight home was in the evening.

We enjoyed the room, situation, and pool, but otherwise did not use the facilities.

Room was large and comfortable. Situation was good. Pool was excellent.

Breakfast was far too expensive, given what was available locally. Some of the desk staff were surly and unhelpful. Most of the outlets in the hotel promenade were closed.

very close to center, easy options with public transport to the stadium

Very kindly stuff. I need some flowers and they ordered these to me. also I ordered one package to them and they pick it up and if I arrive, I got it! Super

Spacious hotel nicely situated and comfortable.

Good sized room in a comfortable, convenient well appointed hotel. Breakfast was very good.

Access from town was initially quite confusing due to the maze of roads and tram tracks.

It was an amazing weekend with amazing and friendly staff

The swimming pool was nice to go, it was clean and well kept. The breakfast was very good with a nice variation of choices.

Clean and good location, bad Wi-Fi provided.

Staffs are friendly, the room is clean and cosy. The room temperature is perfectly controlled by ourselves. Good location. very quiet. Good views.

I am not able to connect with Wi-Fi in the hotel room. There is only Wi-Fi connection in a part of the toilet sometimes.

A wonderful hotel, we liked everything, apart from stuff in Piano bar

The staff at the Piano bar is so untrained in communicating with customers, it shocked me. We waited at the counter for 25 minutes to order, the bartender and waiter just ignored us! My mood was ruined. Work with the staff at the Piano bar.

1. They dont let you to open window in the room and room was very hot! 2. Cleaning and other staff was very bad, all day from 07:00 u til 17:00 they were very noisy in the corridors! will never stay there again

The room was great. The pool was fun. The breakfast was good. The location was great for getting to the train station.

The morning front desk staff was rude. After I checked out and had eaten breakfast, I asked a dining room staff person for a restroom. She sent me downstairs. No restroom. Then I went to the front desk and they sent me to the dining area. I went back to the front desk. I told them I could not find the restroom. The front desk staff person went to the elevator and pointed at a floor number and walked back to the desk. I never did find a restroom. I just left. Frustrating! Wierd! The stay was turned into a negative experience by two staff people working in the early morning.

The hotel is beautiful with the reception staff extremely helpful. The facilities are easily accessible and it’s great to see how tolerant and patient the staff are with customers. It is close to all landmarks ( the cathedral and the Rhine ) and makes for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is definitely aged which can be seen in the outdated furniture especially in the family rooms. We had two and they both seemed to have old , tattered couches as well as faulty shower equipment . The pool area is beautiful but a real hazard as the entire area is wet and slippery ( almost to the entrance without any hazard or caution signs ). It is a comfortable stay with just minor things that take away from the magnificence of its architecture, location and facilities.
