Lovely hotel in an amazing location

Loved the location, breakfast was lovely and the staff were super friendly. The bed was so comfortable!

The AC turned off in the middle of the night then I couldnt work out how to turn it back on.

Bei der Gastronomie ist noch viel Luft nach oben.

Sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Top Lage. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Tolles Frühstück. Super Betten. Es fehlte an nichts. Gastronomie muss noch stark an sich arbeite.

Die Küche muss noch stark an sich arbeiten. Man will französisch kochen und ist noch Lichtjahren davon entfernt. Fleisch hart und zäh, da zu kurz gegart. Aus Cougovaint wurde ein gegrillter Hähnchenschenkel mit einer Soße, für die Rotwein offensichtlich ein Fremdwort war. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt ist das Esslokal leider nicht zu empfehlen

Sehr schönes Hotel aber Vorsicht vor unehrlichem Reinigungspersonal und Kulturabgabe

Sehr freundliche Dame an der Rezeption, die meinen Late-Check-in sehr zuvorkommend und easy ermöglicht hat. Schönes Zimmer, bequemes Bett und tolles Bad. Exzellente Lage

Ich habe ein teures Apple-Ladekabel im Zimmer vergessen, das angeblich nicht von den Reinigungskräften gefunden wurde. Das ist Diebstahl und sollte vom Management nicht geduldet werden. In Köln wird eine Kulturabgabe für Privatreisende fällig. Ich war geschäftlich dort und wurde vorher nicht darauf hingewiesen. Habe also neun Euro auf der Rechnung gehabt, weil man mir vorher das entsprechende Formular nicht hat zukommen lassen.

Great base for Cologne

The location was excellent - less than 10min walk to the train station/cathedral and backed onto the river - which is a wonderful area to explore, especially in the evening. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The hotel is on walking distance to everything

Fantastic little hotel in perfect location

The room was spacious, very comfortable, clean and quiet (thanks to double glazed windows). Great location close to cathedral, river, train station and many restaurants. Hard to fault.

Beautiful hotel, best location

Amazing location, just around the corner from the cathedral. Beautiful hotel, with very clean, stylish rooms. The staff was amazing, we were checking in after 10 pm and the staff and all instructions ahead, so we could seamlessly check-in. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice hotel but needs improvements.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The hotel is close to the city centre, to major museums and the Cologne cathedral. Also next to the Rhine. Has nice comfortable rooms.

1. It does not provide slippers so you find yourself walking with naked feet 2. Does not have a cable TV so a foreigner should come with a tablet to watch Netflix. Only German channels. 3. The menu in the restaurant needs to be reviewed as it contained dishes with a lot of allergens. I personally had a spaghetti with beetroot sauce without the walnuts that were included in the recipe. The spaghetti was not well boiled. 4. The breakfast is also very poor and needs improvements. 5. Outside the main entrance there was a full astray that smelled very badly and made a bad impression as the entrance is really nice.

The location was perfect, the hotel room was nice and comfortable. Overall a nice experience, I would stay there again.

Nice and elegant

Elegant and functional design, comfortable bed. Rituals cosmetics in the bathroom. Good quality restaurant with à la carte breakfast. 7 minutes on foot from the central train station. 6 minutes on foot to Moulin Rouge Musical Dome. Close to the main sights and shopping area. Nice view to the river.

The kitchen was a bit slow.

Disappointing

perfect location

I didn’t expect to be so disappointed with our stay based on the good reviews and research I did before booking our 2 night stay at Prevot Hotel. However, the room just felt extremely basic considering the price. on our entire Germany trip, this was the worst place we stayed. Uncomfortable pillows and mattress, very unimpressive room design, basic bathroom. I’ve stayed in much nicer rooms in Germany for half the price. Also, if you are sensitive to noise, absolutely avoid this place. We barely slept because of all the strange and constant loud noises coming from the stairwell outside the door and the rooms above us. Wish I could get my money back.
