L’emplacement

Communications were clear. Parking, trolley, check in location, room location- all went well. Rooms were upgraded- not sure why. Rooms with nice view to Bay. Dining on second level- rooms above. Reserved and paid ahead for dinner and breakfast. Both meals were good. Rooms were nice with extra bed on loft above. Prices were higher (but reasonable) than other places we stayed in Normandy that were not one-of-a-kind. No crowds in the evening, night and morning. Abbey tour was worth the queue, wait and crowd. Great place to stay on an amazing, historic, and memorable island.
No issues.

Room was clean and comfortable. That’s about it.
Staying on the island is a treat. For that privilege, be prepared to offer up some sacrifice both physically and emotionally. Mouton blanc failed to mention several details of the stay:
We hauled our luggage to the Mouton Blanc reception location listed on their site and Maps. Once arriving we were greeted with a locked door and a sign that instructs to walk all the way back down the hill to look for a different reception area. After looking for it for about 30 minutes, I was quite sweaty and a bit dejected. I expressed my angst to the desk clerk, who admitted that she knew the email and instructions were not accurate. She gave our room key and instructed that we were not located in the main building but must walk further up the hill with our bags. If arriving in the afternoon, this thrice back and forth journey is accompanied by thousands of tourists who don’t care about you and your bags. Fortunately, when we eventually found our accommodations, there was a shower! Best part of arrival!

Great location, luggage storage, comfy bed, good breakfast.
Very small!

This hotel is right on Le Mont Michel. very comfortable and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
Nothing to dislike.

This was in a great location with a view of the bay. We loved walking around Mont Saint Michel after all the crowds had left. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. Would stay here again.
Lugging your suitcase through Mont Saint Michel to get to the room wasn't easy, but worth it.

Staff were responsive to my requests. Appreciated being able to see the sea.

Good location, good Service, good value. Recommendable.
Can't think of anything.

The view was nice that is all I can and will say
The staff looks friendly but doesn't give you answers or calls you back when they say they will
The bedsheets weren't clean, found hair and part of the white sheets had large grey circles

Great location, friendly staff and just great experience.

location and that is it.
well where to start, sent an email stating accommodation change and an upgrade but told at reception ...just a auto send, then the same old small rooms and beds that lean so you feel like you are falling out of the bed for 2 which is tiny a very small bed, the food was included but the worst in France, 3 items on 3 lines and terrible really bad. 1 out of 10. breakfast is good,

Loved the rustic feel for the property and the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Pretty cozy overall and gave great vibes as if we were in a different time. The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive. They took great care of us.
The size of the toilet room and the bathroom. Felt a bit claustrophobic, especially where the toilet is. Door was difficult to open from the inside. Also, needed a shower door or curtain of some kind to keep from getting water onto the floor. Also a bit noisy in the morning from the street and the other guests staying in the hotel.

Loved the location and the ability to fit my family of 4 in 1 room.

The stonishing view from the room , both from bathroom and bedroom, and the comfortable bed and batheoom.
There are two much stairs outside and inside the hotel. There is no elevator and we had to climb more then a hundred steps to get to the hotel+ third floor.
3.5
Ideally located when you have luggage as it is right at the entrance of the Mont. The room was spacious with an amazing view - we were on the second floor of the Annex of the Auberge de la Mere Poulard. Breakfast was served as a buffet and the choice of food was good. Beware if you are not fit as there is quite a few stairs to get to the auberge and to your room. No lift. But this was not a problem for us. The staff were very nice and helpful
Nothing really.

Great lication, ehich allowed us to enjoy the island after the crowds depart, and before they arrive again the next morning

Location is good.
heater radiator didn’t work, and restroom is so small..

Room price is not cheap, but definitely worth the expense to stay on the island.
Lots of stairs

Location is excellent on the island. View is on the Main Street. Very quaint.
Check in was very taxing. Had to visit two other reception hotels to get the code. Should have been warned or alerted prior to check in. Once in our room, we opened the windows which look down on the Main Street but there was over an inch of pigeon poop on the window ledge which was repulsive so we couldn't open the window except a mere crack.

The stay at Le Mouton Blanc was great, it was an amazing experience for us in a beautiful place. The comfort of the rooms and a really great breakfast topped it off...

Just an email the day before our booking that you were transferring us to a different hotel? No choice on where we stayed? If you couldn’t give me a room, you should have just credited me back on my card. After reading reviews on the different hotels on St Michel, we decided on your hotel, not where we had no choice because you transferred us there.

good location- property was nice.
the owners were out of town, left in care of another hotel and they were not responsive to our questions regarding connections or other issues. Felt very much on our own in every way. When owners returned we had breakfast on premises and it was beyond bad - literally rotted fruit was offered for breakfast along with horribly overcooked eggs and sausages- it was disgusting and inedible.

To stay a night on Le Mont-Saint-Michel is quite a different experience than being a daytime visitor. In the late evening it's getting less busy and the atmosphere is getting more magical. Walking the narrow streets and the Pont Passerelle at night is fantastic. The hotel is in a very good position. We stayed in an annex uphill close to the Abbaye which was perfect for an early-morning visit. The bedroom and the bathroom were tidy and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a fresh start of the day and the hotel staff is superbe.

Great location. The island is small and the hotel is just located within the heart of island.
Wonderful breakfast.
The room is too tiny for 3 people. I guess it’s expected since these are old buildings. We paid a lot of money for one day for 3 people for it being a tiny room. They only gave us 2 tiny soaps for everything. They should give more extra soap. We end up asking more soap at the reception ( which is in different hotel). Even that they only gave me 1 piece. For that amount of money we paid, it is why too much for a small place and the toiletries are not well replenished.
The entire island shuts down when the tourist leave so better get your food early because there is nothing open after 10pm. We end up buying chips at a vending machine for dinner.

The location is very much in the centre of the island (we were in de Jeanne D'Arc annex building), so you have a great view of the streets and the sea. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the nice bathtub very much.
The lady manning the breakfast-tables was very hasty and was not very uncomfortable to us, while she did help a lot of other guests during breakfast. The reception was also quite far from the room and eventually I had to ask in the restaurant where to find the reception. There, the receptionist only gave a very elaborate explanation in only French, although he was very nice. The room was very small, but that's to be expected at mont saint michel: your knees would be cramped up against the tub while sitting on the toilet next to it (and I'm not that tall).

Don’t think about the quality of the accommodation, just thoroughly enjoy the experience of staying on Mont St Michel. So pleased that we stayed here.
The accommodation is certainly not top quality.

Despite some online postings about the hotel being difficult to find, it was not. The hotel sent detailed instructions about where to park our car and where to go to check in on Mont-St.-Michel. It was so easy! The hotel is very well maintained, especially considering the quirkiness of such very old buildings. All the carpeting and draperies were fresh and appeared to be new. The bathroom is small but modern and very nice. Comfortable beds and quality linens. We chose the half-board option rather than look for a restaurant for dinner, and my friend and I were so glad we did. It may have been the best dinner I had in France. Lamb terrine as an appetizer, melt-in-your-mouth lamb in a wonderful sauce as the main, and chocolate mousse for dessert. And a complimentary glass of cider as well. A memorable meal! My friend and I were very satisfied with our stay at quality hotel.
The room was small, as expected. But I took only a carryon bag to the island and left a larger piece of luggage in our rented SUV. It was a good decision. I appreciated everything about this hotel, including the personable and helpful staff.
