The whole experience was wonderful.

Very nice clean room in the centre of the old town
This allowed us to enjoy the town in the evening and early morning before all the day tourists arrived. All in all a wonderful stay
This is not a dislike simply a comment. As the building is very old there is no lift. We needed to carry everything up a tiny staircase to the 3rd floor
So traveling light is essential

We had a great room with a wonderful view!

Right in the middle of Mont Saint Michel - Very good breakfast - Bar/restaurant open at night
It is not the hotel's fault, but if you have a room with street view, you will probably be waken up by the early deliveries on the street pavements

The location of the place was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom modern with great water pressure. The location was very quiet and happy with the rooms. We had a mini fridge which was great for snacks and waters.
The instructions on arriving were non existent. We had trouble finding the hotel and were told after walking all
over we needed to check in at a different hotel. Only to have us walk back to a cafe where the rooms were located. This was not explained.

Great location, recently refurbished, friendly staff, clean room and very good breakfast at the hotel.
Be prepared for lots of steps in a spiral staircase up to the room but it was no problem for us.

We felt very welcome at this hotel. Getting to the room was a journey in itself, not in terms of distance but the access along the ramparts offered extensive views of the bay and the amazing sunset. We had a triple room and it was one of the largest we had during our short 5 day stay in France. Water pressure was fantastic too! Do note the hotel's advice on luggage and parking information.

Amazing atmosphere and experience!! Our rooms were top floor which was many stairs but so fun and original. We were glad to have brought only backpacks with only essential items. Suitcases would not have been a huge challenge. Absolutely the best idea to stay on the island and experience the Abbey and streets at night without the crowds. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a late dinner at restaurant Auberge St Pierre, just down the street.
Finding the lot to park car our was a little confusing. We would have liked to stay longer the next day but the heavy crowds made it difficult to explore. I have nothing at all negative to say about our hotel stay. Be prepared to walk a lot and climb many stairs!!

I was expecting a hotel a bit run down due to the age of the building. Quite to my surprise, the interior of this hotel has obviously been remodeled and updated by professionals. Everything functioned wonderfully and better than I expected. Being on the island overnight gives you a whole other perspective on the place.
Price was quite steep.

Location location location. Quaint old building. Mont St. Michel is a zoo during the day, so staying there means you can walk around in early and late in the day in great comfort. We left in the middle of the day to visit Dol du Bretagne, also very interesting, came back after the crowds had left.
First night returning after the bar/resto on first floor had closed, no one mentioned how to get in after hours. slightly confusing.

Great location, its a wonderful experience to get to sleep in Mount San Michele. Listening to the seagulls in the morning while cosy inside is a beautiful experience of staying over on a small historic island
The walls a thin, so unfortunately you can hear noisy rooms..even when opening and closing of their door.

Location location location. If you can put up with the negatives and only interested in location then grand
If you stay in mont st Michel bring your own food, sooo expensive, terrible service for only reasonable food. Hotel was standard and over priced for what you got

The hotel was clean and comfortable for one night stay on the Mont. A perfect location right on the Main Street and with access to the ramparts. The restaurant associated with the hotel was good for dinner and breakfast. There are lots of steps up and down to get to rooms, so be prepared with a small backpack or bag.

The room was much bigger than I anticipated and the view from our hotel room was spectacular
Way too many people allowed on the island

The location of course. It’s worth to spend a little bit more but stay in the island. Room was confortable for the three of us, clean, and views were amazing. The few staff that were working (we visited just after France opened on June 9) helped us with the luggage through the bunch of the stairs to the room.
Unfortunately, the nice restaurant at the hotel with beautiful views to the bay was closed. Then we had to go down and up to our room. But we understand since the island was almost desert.

It is nice to spend the night on the Mont Saint Michel. The bathroom is new and nice
The place is quite hard to find and the facilities are half closed. The room is very crowded, there is no view. Breakfast is very expensive. I would not go back or recommend.

The location is outstanding and the view out the window of the medieval surroundings is extraordinary. The island has to be one of the wonders of the modern world.
Before griping, one has to realise where one is. I noticed previous comments about difficulty with stairs but what do you expect in a narrow medieval property 4 floors high. Yes, the stairs are narrow and circular. My answer is to take less baggage. Strangely, the hotel restaurant downstairs is closed, at the end of July in peak season too. One eats in an adjacent hotel, but it's restaurant was indoors, busy and too crowded for me in a pandemic. The staff were very much doing their best. Warning: the local style of omelette offered in all the restaurants would service a family of ten. A small 100ml glass of wine however is extortionate, equal to Norwegian prices, but there again it must all be transported across the causeway.
I'm pleased we stayed there but the crowds would put one off. My advice is to stay overnight on the island going and leaving early to avoid the queues for shuttles and this hotel well served its purpose. Go perhaps outside of peak season and wear good shoes. The steps up to the monastery are as good as an angiogram

A comfortable quaint hotel room with an amazing view on the bay and the beautiful sunrises.

Location location location ! Can’t be beaten . Nice view of the bay from our bedroom
You need to go use another entrance than the Main Street after the restaurant downstairs closes down ( around 5 pm)

Room was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful medieval building.
The hotel reception was closed and we were attended by the receptionist of other hotel, and breakfast was served in this other hotel as well. It was a little unconfortable to climb up and down stairs every time.
