The hotel was well located on the less fashionable side of the peninsular and the new hotel is good.

Hotel was clean comfortable and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was a bonus however tiles around pool are very slippery/dangerous.

There are 2 hotels...an old one and a new one. The standard double offer is in the old hotel. An upgrade at higher cost was required to secure a satisfactory room. Fortunately this was possible.

1. The Lady Receptionist do not provided clearly about different when we upgraded deluxe rooms (The Old Building) to Club Suite Room (The new Building). I’m very very disappointed!!! 2. Breakfast Buffet isn’t meets the Value ( No Beef, No Pork BBQ,…very cheaps food). They’re only foods is not good for healthy…something like this: Sausage, Bacon, Ham,

Nothing to complain about

Good location, near the sea and restaurants, bars etc. Good sized room, comfortable beds. Window had no view at all, just a wall in front that was so near you could almost touch it, but I think it's acceptable as we had chosen one of the cheaper rooms, and at least having such a 'nothing' view meant we couldn't hear any street noise from outside either (a common problem in most of Vietnam!).

It seems this hotel business is somehow connected to the very large and very new posh hotel next door. When we arrived, we were asked to go to the posh hotel to check-in, then had to walk back to Petro House hotel to our room. Not a bad thing, but unusual. At least we were able to use the big parking area underneath the posh new hotel.
