A hospedagem precisa de melhor administrador.

A localização é muito boa. O quarto é amplo e a área de convivência tb é excelente. Infelizmente é um ótimo lugar mas com uma administração péssima!

As toalhas não pareciam estar limpas, estavam mal lavadas e mal cheirosas. O check in não foi amigável, cobraram uma taxa no cartão e não entendi bem pq estava pagando, tentaram resolver devolvendo em espécie o valor cobrado no cartão. Mesmo pagando com cartão internacional, cobraram o IVA e informaram que apenas pagando com dólares em espécie não pagaria o imposto, o que não corresponde à realidade da legislação. Me hospedei tb em Santiago e lá transcorreu tudo perfeitamente, sem me cobrarem taxas no cartão de crédito, nem o IVA, como deve ser, visto que efetuei o pagamento com cartão de crédito internacional, como manda a legislação. O gerente age como uma criança da quinta série qdo contrariado ou questionado por algum motivo. Fiz a avaliação que deveria fazer sobre as impressões que tive na hospedagem. PONTO Ele então me enviou mensagens ofensivas no meu whatsapp e logo depois me bloqueou. Aquela criança birrenta que xinga e corre. Não tem maturidade pra ouvir uma crítica e parte para ofensas, agressões verbais, calúnia e difamação, como poderão ver nas respostas aqui no booking, bem como nas avaliações do google. Basta pesquisar. Esse é o modus operandi dele: Acusar e mentir. Uma pena! Desejo Paz e Bem! Aho!

Hermoso, cómodo, amigable y seguro

Amé la decoración, la terraza es hermosa y muy cómoda para compartir con todos, la vista de la ventana es impagable, la cama muy cómoda, la atención y buena disposición del personal fue increíble

No tengo quejas, tal vez podría haber un set de toallas en el baño y una fresada más en la cama, como viajero fuimos bien equipados, la recomendación podría ser para otra persona que necesite

a great spot to experience Valpo

nice communal space upstairs, old Nintendo gaming system, beds are very comfortable, friendly staff

each bed only has one standard USB charging port. if you have other types of chargers like USB-C or have multiple devices you have to go hunting for other sockets

The hostel is well located in the historical center. The dorm lockers are huge, the beds quite comfortable, the common areas clean. But I especially recommend this hostel for the fantastic staff, they are lovely and made me have a great stay!!

Superb

Great location in Valparaiso. Very comfortable, social hostel with good wifi and warm showers. The kitchen was well equipped.

We loved that the hostel was social, but it is pretty loud (until 12:00 am/1:00 am) if you don't choose to party with the rest of the hostel. We used ear plugs to sleep.

Pleasant

The room itself is very nice - it's spacious and bright. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. The common area is great and well equipped, and a nice space to meet other people. There's a very nice and chilled social vibe during the day. WiFi was good throughout the building. Location of the hostel is very good, lots of food options (especially vegan/veggie) close by, and a nice, safe area to wander around. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Although the description on booking describes the hostel as tranquil, this is the complete opposite of our experience. One night there was a party in the common area with extremely loud music until after midnight, and people talking/banging loudly until after 1am - as there's no door on the area it was crazy loud in our room. Another night the people in the room next to ours were playing metal and talking loudly until around 3am. There's also a lot of noise from the street. This is definitely a party hostel so we felt misled from the description and wouldn't have booked if we'd known, especially as it was more expensive than similar places in the area. The common area doesn't close until 1am and because of the layout of the building, you're awake from the noise until then. The private bathroom is down the hall on the opposite side of the building. Again, we'd chosen this hostel and paid more because of this, so it feels a bit misleading there's no mention (have rechecked the description to see if we'd missed this and we hadn't).

Great place to stay. Wish was warmer when cold outside.

Great location with a cool vibe. Great staff. Things happening every night on the top floor common space. I had a private room with private bathroom down the hall.

I took off a couple points because there's no heat in the building. While you have plenty of blankets to stay warm in bed, the temp dropped to 42F/5C outside, and the inside was very cold. Not electric heaters were available.

Very nice

Ideal location in Cerritos Alegre (one of the most beautiful areas in Valparaiso) and right next to the lower city (CBD) with train station. The hostal has a lot of charm, rooms are spacious, it’s clean, and there’s a big lounge at the top floor where you’ll meet travellers from all over the world. Very Local Valparaiso vibe. Staff is super lovely, and speaks English.

For those who come in winter: no heater :( But that’s okay, it doesn’t get too cold

I had so much fun getting to know incredible people in an incredible city.

I loved Valparaíso! It was an incredible city. The hostal was just as beautiful and artistic as the rest of the city.

We didn't find out a lot of the best things to do until very close to the end of our stay. It would be nice if when visitors checked in, hostal staff could share some of the best things to do, free things available, etc.

Amazing staff, superb location, great value for money

Camille and his wife are 2 of the nicest people we have come across during our travels! They make you feel at home as soon as you arrive, give great tips about Valpo and happily engage in conversation over dinner. Great value for money :)
