La ubicación es muy lejos de la playa , y sobre todo el acceso a las instalaciones no es buena.

very spacious for big group
far drive from main road also the road itself is crappy so getting to the location was hectic

The property is located in the middle of the mountain with amazing views and forest.
The location and wood made cabin

Barbara the host is a lovely helpful person always available to help in any way she can.
Made me feel very welcome and at home

the garden and the home apartments where clean and comfortable
it was not explained you needed to get own vehicle to get in or out of property ..the house sits on a slope and it’s hard for small car to get in and out. just to go into town in west end we would get a taxi but we would have to walk halfway to get it if the taxi was to low to drive up because of the dirt roads and slope charge would be $10

It was a lovely place, with very nice staff and a good price for the area and what you get.
The door had a large crack at bottom where bugs could crawl in, but it wasn’t a big problem.

Breakfast was nice. I enjoyed the space the room itself was nice and what I needed. The view from the room and the size of the windows were amazing.
I would like to note that this is in no way a reflection on Barbara. She was a delightful woman. She was as good as a host should’ve been. However I did leave money on the table, I checked out early because I’d had enough.
Location: Now if you plan on staying only on the property the whole time this shouldn’t be a problem for you. But if you plan to leave at least once a day this is something that matters. What I would suggest is some sort of taxi service or car available for drop off on the main road. It is a 15-minute walk, which normally wouldn’t be an issue however with this particular location it’s slightly challenging with unpaved and very rocky roads as well as unsafe for driving a scooter. I would suggest if you must book here to get a car or a 4 wheeler. It’s very muddy and again the road isn’t paved. I had a hard time getting a taxi to agree to pick me up a second time after they come once or they charge me extra. Hence the scooter rental. I have provided pictures below.
Noise: I noticed someone in the previous reviews say it was quiet so I was excited to experience that, but every morning at around 8 am there is loud construction. Nothing that can be controlled by the property but is something to note as I was misled and it didn’t fit what I wanted for a place I was staying at for 7-8 days.
Lastly: A young lady was robbed outside of the property. So not only were the streets in the area difficult to maneuver and dangerous physically but your personal safety is challenged walking to the property at night. There isn’t much lighting on the trail at night so I’m not that surprised but that’s scary for anyone. Which is why I checked out the very next morning, 2 nights before I was scheduled to.
I hope the island starts to work on this very soon for the sake of this business and the residents in the area.

The breakfast was good. Barbara was wonderful. My grandson, Nick, really bonded with her.
The road to the property needs help. My daughter & grandson walked up and down a lot, took taxi some, but some of the taxi drivers would not go all the way up.

The entire wooden building is in a quiet part of the West End where it can be very busy, touristy, and a lot in your face. Barbara and her staff were extremely accommodating. The best part is the entire home is made of wood and is extremely beautiful and relaxing from that alone. We will be going back and booking again.

friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
The walk from the main road at night for a solo female traveler wasn’t well lit up and made me feel a little unsafe.

Barbara is the nicest person I stayed with in my one year of holiday and I loved the place here so much!!!
The beautiful apartment with kitchen and a lot of space is part of a big house with a giant roof terrace from where you can see the ocean. The house is located in the jungle-like area, which is why it’s quiet and peaceful there but still only a 10 min walk to the Main Street and the beach.
The Internet is amazing, movie streaming works easy and all the time!
Barbara is super friendly and funny, she always responds to any messages immediately and helps with everything you need!
I miss this place already and I absolutely wanna come back to Barbara again some day!

My family and I stayed in Roatan Bed & Breakfast Apartment, the service was horrible. The entrance was rocky and too high more than the owner told us . She didn’t want to cancel one extra room we booked . There were a lot of animals and bugs around the room . We were given false illusion about a breakfast and were greeted with only eggs and Burnt toast, and cold coffee. I wouldn’t recommend this place the service was horrible .

The place is ideal to find peace and tranquility. You will hear only nature sounds.
Good Wi-Fi and full equipped kitchen with fridge available in the room.
The room was large and very clean.
Clean bathroom with hot water.
Daily cleaning and fresh towels every other day. Staff was very friendly, helpful and nice.
No A/C, therefore it can get very hot, though there are good fans.
This hotel is located from West End main street around 10 minutes rough walk through a dirt road. You have to walk to the top of the hill.

Barbara is a nice host! She was very welcoming and caring. The B&B is sorrounded by beautiful nature in a more quite area in West End. The facilities counted with all the functional equipment an apartment needs.
Not every taxi driver knows the address and the road is not easily accessible by anyone. It was hard to find since there are no signaling anywhere. The apartment itself turned out to be more rustic than expected which was a surprise at first but easily adapted to.

Breakfast was basic and very good all one, Barbara is a great hostess she even cook dinner for us, the place is a 10 minutes walk to the beach, safe and peaceful
I really enjoyed my time in Roatan.
I would strongly recommend this place to someone in search of little R&R
In terms of the physical place was all I need it to distress for a week, Unfortunately Roatan itself like everywhere else is feeling the pinch of Covid-19.
so if you are really looking for the bar scene/ night life probably at this time Roatan cannot offered
