We were made very welcome,and when they new it was our Anniversary we had a lovely jug of flowers.

Once we were moved from our room on the 3 rd floor ,all was good,the room it's self was lovely.We were moved to the apartment and I didn't have a problem with that and it was lovely.

The stairs were the chateau type original,and we had not been made aware of this,there was no hand rail at all,I don't normaly have a problem but I just could not manage these

Good

The house is not adapted for long people. The risk of hurting your head is real!! The internet is not that great. Er is a door in the bedroom which was unlocked when we arrived, you can't close it from our side! It needs an extra lock so people can't come in.

interesting building - querky. The room is tastefully decorated and very comfortable.

The room lists terrace as a facility but it should be made clear that this is not attached to the room and is shared with other guests. This was not a problem for us but i think it should be made clearer.

Great location, room and breakfast

Great size room and bathroom. Good WIFI and superb breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and kettle and drinks inside room. Good location for driving into city. Free parking.

A very pleasant stopover on the way north.

A warm welcome and a very attractively quirky building. We enjoyed the breakfast especially: our hosts had taken more trouble than usual to provide something a bit different from the norm.

Ideal place for an overnight stay. A lovely location and really spacious family room.

Room is lovely and spacious for a family stay and cool in the hot weather.

Excellent B&B

Very friendly and helpful staff without being over bearing. Very large room with a comfy bed. Plenty of off-road parking. Excellent breakfast. Perfectly placed for visiting Fontevraud Abbey and Saumur.

Nothing. Access to a destination charger would be a great bonus for us electric car drivers.

Everything. Lovely ancient home, updated with comfortable, attractive amenities. Spacious Rooms accommodated families. Delicious home made crepes for breakfast, along with other breakfast offerings made a great way to start the day. wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful area.

Very nearly perfect

Delighted, through and through. Wonderful host, huge rooms, historic "castle" feel, generous breakfast, lovely small garden for relaxing, right on the la Loire à vélo route so perfect for cyclists.

I would give a 10 score if the location were off the main road. It is not too busy but passing traffic does chip away at the overall perfection.

Delightful room with plenty of space. Nice terrace outside the unique room to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed our stay.

A very unusual, quirky and comfortable place

A very unusual, quirky and comfortable place, superbly clean with a beautiful garden in from of the property. The property is conveniently located for a short stay on the way to Calais, a welcoming host who made our stay very pleasant. Thank you very much!

Superb

Check in was super smooth, and we got great advice on where to go for dinner. Breakfast was excellent. We loved the crepes, and the homemade jams as much as we enjoyed the conversation with our host.

Everything was fine. The only thing I didn’t like was to carry a suitcase up the stairs (but it was a very minor inconvenience). The place is lovely.

Superb

This place offers large rooms with interesting furnishing. The breakfast is really good for French standards, and is served in very nice place resembling vine cellar. Free enclosed parking is an additional benefit. Very nice owners are the biggest advantage here.

The location - out of town and next to the road - can be a minor disadvantage for some, advantage for others.
