Good location for the St Malo ferry
Room clean
Poor tea coffee facilities
A little expensive for a 2 star
Staff a little indifferent
Reception not manned
Staff more interested as a big pm event that was occurring

It was set in beautiful grounds and was close to the port for our sailing the next morning.
It was rather confusing to know what you could and couldn’t do in the property. Doors were wide open but had ‘privé’ on them. There were keys in the French doors so we went outside but were then told the grounds were private. We were merely handed the key so we’re unsure of what was available to us.

Oui c’est un mixte de l’ancien et du moderne

Le cadre et la proximité de Saint-Malo
Un chauffage beaucoup trop chaud pour la nuit
4.1
Clean bedding, a good shower
Nothing like the photos. Tired and in need of decoration. The light didn't even have a shade over it!!
It is not our first stay in a dog friendly hotel, so I am judging it on that basis
4.1
Good location close to town.
Our room was given away, the one we were given, the floor was so creaky, you couldn’t even move your foot without making a noise. Very difficult during the night or mornings going to the bathroom because of the extremely creaky floor. Every step was loud enough to wake up the whole building. Bathroom extremely small. Someone not too fit or pregnant women would not be able to squeeze in the shower. The shower installation not properly finished, holes in tiles.

A lovely tucked away, quaint building with beautiful grounds and the staff were naturally hospitable. The room was basic but had all we needed and the bathroom was very clean and new look. Lovely towels and linen also. Bed was comfortable. At breakfast, this was a lovely light room, comfortable feeling and lots to offer, well presented. The place was very clean and attended to. Lots of parking spaces and our dog was welcomed.
The room was very warm all evening and morning. Luckily the night was not too bad. Otherwise the only thing to mention was we were not able to have much at breakfast as there is minimal vegan options but we were prepared for this, bring our own butter and milk options and this was no issue to do so.

looked quite nice, arrived and left in the dark. Bedroom and facilities ok.

Lovely setting. Friendly staff. Close to town but feel like you're in the countryside. Amazing property.
The room I smelt of tobacco. Fluff under hanging rack.

We arrived a day early, which was our mistake getting our dates wrong as we had to change our ferry last minute.
Marina who was on duty was absolutely brilliant.
The Hotel was fully booked, but Marina was amazing and found us a room in the Manoire which she had to make up from scratch.
We have a large dog and she was very welcomed.
Nothing.
Highly recommended and we will most definitely stay with them again.
4.1
country atmosphere
lack of amenities, but manageable
4.1
Pet friendly, close to the ferry port
Confusion with receptionist our arrival, explained that we needed a late checkout as our ferry wasnt untill the afternoon and was told no problem at all only to find the next day that another receptionist wanted to charge for another whole day, as we had cats we had no choice but to pay.
4.1
location
modern facilities in poor repair
very basic room and shower room not particularly clean

Although there was no evening meal, the breakfast was self service with a substantial choice of tasty items.
Set the day off perfectly.
Although no evening meal was on offer, it isn't far to travel to several eating places.
The hotel is high in quality, will definitely use again.
4.1
- easy late checkin with key code
- quiet place outside of the towns but still quite close with a car
- there was only one very small package of shower gel and no soap for washing the hands etc. Proper equipment in that area should be standard at that price. I had my own with me, so it was no problem for me - but for others it might be.

The hotel was further out of town than I expected and we arrived late and tired and could not be bothered to drive back into town. The person on duty made us some food and provided a drink though she did not have to and was generally friendly - a good start to our first night in France which was only a rest night before traveling onward.
There was nothing we did not like given that we only needed a bed and some food for the night.
If we had wanted to spend a couple of days for sightseeing in St Malo it would have been too far out of town and it didn't look like any public transport was available near by.

Great, was a stopover for UK ferry but would stay again
Comfy chair to read in

Sadly this was just an overnight stay. We would certainly stay here again on another visit to France. It was a very handy place to stop on our way to catch the ferry from St Malo but nicely away from the town in a lovely rural setting. The atmosphere was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. We liked the fact that we could park so close to our accommodation. Next time we will stay for breakfast.

Lady on reception very nice
Nothing not to like
4.1
Comfortable room, helpful staff, pleasant rural location
Quite a way out of town when cycling, and no restaurant nearby
4.1
clean friendly site, good facilities, not too big and didn’t appear crowded.
individual loo rolls and toilet seats would be nice.
4.1
amazing picturesque setting, nice room and breakfast
nothing
4.1
The building was pretty from the outside and the view from our bedroom window was beautiful. The shower was great.
Directions to hotel and reception not clear enough. Room looked nothing like the pictures. The bed was too firm, very uncomfortable and only one pillow each. The door lock was cheap and difficult to lock and unlock effectively. The door rattled when locked so we had to put a teabag in the door to stop it!! Toilet in such a small gap and felt like it was going to break. Stains on carpet, wallpaper coming away, mismatch furniture, no light shade on main light. Couldn't see/find WiFi password so had to use mobile data. Stairs to room uneven/broken and a trip hazard. Could hear EVERYTHING from room above. Such a shame as this place has so much potential but it seems unfinished - it needs a lot of work done to it. Not worth the price and wouldn't return.
4.1
clean and comfortable room. lovely surroun
4.1
open country close to port (10 mins) have dogs so nice for them not to be in town
lack of fan as no AC , old building so cool but air so still and having had heatwave it was cooler outside than in
4.1
clean and spacious
4.1
perhaps more fruit at breakfast.
4.1
Very helpful staff, large room with good facilities in the room including a kettle - although no milk so still could not make English Tea! Very good breakfast.
No curtains, only an outside roller shutter which cut out the bright outside lights well, but unfortunately all the fresh air supply as well even with the window wide open. Form over function I think!
Also, there was no evening meal available and no restaurants within easy walking distance. A delivery option would help in this sort of situation -
