Nice beds, and a huge balcony
Thin walls- you could hear your neighbors a lot

Our balcony was very small- only for one

The hotel is located in 20 minutes walk from the centre. There are a lot of parking spaces around. We had a very warm welcome from Dulci, many thanks.
I think that the pictures that I had seen at the site were a little bit deceiving. I saw pictures of the rooms with big windows. Our room had a very small window facing the back of the building surrounded by other buildings. No view, no light was coming from that window. I also think that the size of the room was not 16 square metres - the room was very small. Another problem - sounds, it is not sound-proof. We could hear everything - when neighbours arrived to the next room, sounds coming from the hallway. But for one night it was OK.

San Sebastian is a lovely but expensive town. So, Pension Anoeta was the perfect location for the money.
I would have needed another proper pillow.

The first host that received us was pretty easygoing, nice and flexible. He also gave us pretty good instructions on what to do and where to go.
The parking arrangement was messy. It is not 24h parking, so you will have to take away your car before 14. And information given for parking hours was messy. We had to cancel our visit in the old town and come back to return the keys. In addition, the lock of the bathroom is tricky. One of us was locked in the bathroom and it took great force and strategy to open it from outside by the other person.

Clean bathroom and nice big windows, but view isn’t so nice, just a street and parking.
Very small room, doesn’t fit for separetka.

Wonderful staff, super friendly and helpful. One of the cheapest rooms we could find in the area. There is some parking around, compared to downtown.
Paper thin walls, you can hear EVERYTHING. At over 90 euros a night the quality is way below what we have found in the rest of Spain. Downtown is a 25 minute walk away (easy to get there by bus).

We had the room number 3. It is the only corner room and has a big decent size with a large balcony. The staff at the reception is very nice, including people in charge of the cleaning.
The wall, at least the one between our room and the other room, is pretty thin and you could hear the neighbours .

The room was quite big and was always very carefully clean and the staff was very friendly.
It is in a very nice neighborhood but a bit far from the center especially if you have to make turns during the day. It's 15 walks to the cathedral. And till the beach is 30 min walk

There is a lift up to the first floor where the pension is located and although English is not really spoken they make an effort to communicate. We felt bad not being able to converse in Spanish but can speak French and the lady on the desk when we arrived also spoke french, so that helped. She welcomed us earlier than our check in time and let us leave our bags, however we couldn't access any toilet or wash facilities until the official check in time at 3:00pm. Our room, without balcony, was clean and comfortable, in a quiet residential area with aircon. There are lots of cafés, bars and restaurants in the area and if we had been there longer we might have made use of them, but we were only there for three nights and wanted to explore the old town, do some sightseeing and swim. The bathroom was also clean with a good shower. Someone cleans the room every day and makes the beds. Staff were friendly. We didn't see much of them but had the impression they would be helpful if needed.
We hadn't expected to be quite as far from the beaches and old town as we were. We had hoped to be a little closer. Be prepared for a lot of walking. There are buses but I'm not sure what time they start or finish running. Otherwise taxis, but we didn't want to spend extra money on these. The room itself has an aircon, which is great midsummer, but is on an automated setting which can't be changed. So the room often gets very warm before it cools down again. We would have preferred a more constant temperature. Finally, the fact it's a 'pension' means that the place is very basic with no other facilities or amenities besides the room. It's purely functional with no atmosphere or personality. We felt it would have been useful to have had a board or list of useful tips or information, rather than just the map and table with the usual tourist pamphlets offered. So although the room was comfortable and staff friendly, we felt that based on location and what you get for your money, the price was a bit high.

Rental bikes outside, nice balcony, comfortable enough beds, good shower and clean toilets
Small bit tight in bedroom area otherwise good
