The Sunset Suite view was just stunning! Straight out onto the poolside and out to sea. Breakfast served in the room everyday was lovely. The team here are always on hand and very friendly. Sunset drinks and canapés were most enjoyable too.
The restaurant food was lovely but a little limited in choice if you were planning to eat there a lot.

Absolut perfekter Aufenthalt, super Ausstattung, sehr leckeres Essen, sogar Lunchpakete für frühmorgendliche Wanderungen! Tolle Lage am Hang mit Blick auf den Atlantik und den Lion's Head

The view from the room was amazing and the facilities were very clean and top notch. The complimentary breakfast was great. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The bath allowed for another way to relax after a tough day looking out at the amazing view.
The staff service could have been better. We did not feel very welcome as we felt like we were just another number when we arrived. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with the normal pleasantries of "Hello, how are you doing?" and then were asked to fill in a form, provide ID's, etc. There was no small talk like "how was your wedding?" or "how was your flight?". I understand that this information is required; however, this process should feel a lot less transactional. The dinner was average and not worth the money. There was no vibe when we arrived for our booked dinner, we had to ask for music to put on. The light outside our room was extremely bright at night and shone into room and lit up the whole room as the curtains were not close enough to the glass door making it impossible to sleep.

Check in time was 2 o'clock. Room not ready. Had to wait till 3. Was offered a coffee while we waited but it was added to account.

incredible location, with magnificent views.
Access to the property - lack of freedom with the need to drop off and pick up the key every time you come and go, a locked door that needs to be opened by the staff and difficulty leaving at certain times when reception is not manned. Also, the kitchen is not always operating.

Amazing room, beautiful views, service was outstanding. The staff were very accommodating of my wife’s food allergies which was really nice.
They left us a welcome drink of non-alcoholic champagne on arrival which was a very thoughtful touch since we told them we don’t drink.
Breakfasts in the room were lovely with lots of options and really well presented.
Top floor rooms is noisy when it’s very windy - lots of rattling and banging makes it hard to sleep.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Atlanticview Hotel for my partner's 50th birthday. It was our first trip to Cape Town and it was the ideal location and hotel for us. I researched locations thoroughly and noted the advice that first time visitors to Cape Town should stay around the V&A but the reviews from other guests who stayed at the Atlanticview hotel swayed me to choose this boutique hotel situated in Camps Bay for this surprise trip. The location was ideal as it was peaceful and the views towards the Atlantic ocean were spectacular particularly at sunset! It is extremely easy to get around Cape Town from this location. We used ubers, which were accessible; location only around 10 - 15 mins to the V&A.
However, Camps Bay itself, less than 5mins drive to the bottom of the hill had some fantastic restaurants and a nice beach. The best meals we had in Cape Town were in Camps Bay - restaurants recommended by the staff at the Atlanticview!
The staff were amazing and we owe Justine and all her colleagues immense gratitude for their kindness and professionalism. Each staff member we met greeted us warmly and answered the numerous questions we had about the area, sightseeing locations etc.
Our room was sooo comfortable and luxurious looking onto the "heated" infinity pool, which assisted with relaxation as soon as we arrived. Please don't hesitate to book, we can't wait to have another opportunity to visit again.
N/A - This boutique hotel deserves their 5 stars and more!

The breakfast was amazing, service great, and the setting couldn't have been better.
Don't book airport pickup with the hotel. In both cases, they did not show up. In one case they said they were there although I looked around a lot, and we had to pay.

The staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was the best ever. Cousy rooms. Could not fault the venue.
The shower was a bit too small for my liking, but nothing to really complain about.

Wow, what an incredible stay at Atlantic View. We stayed here for our honeymoon in August and each and every member of staff went above and beyond to make it so special. Our room, the breakfast and the evenings in the bar were all just magical. Great memories created and we will most definitely be back! Thank you so much!
Nothing at all!
