Breakfast was nice however it is a bit basic. Needs a bit more variety

view from the balcony and dining area were great. Cleaning and service staff were friendly, laundry service provided were helpful. Location is in a residential area. felt very safe.
the property felt very poorly maintained, looked vastly different from the photos. for this price point I had expected more. Breakfast was of poor quality, often ingredients were not available.

We had initially planned to spend all 4 nights of our stay in Cape Town in the CBD. However, this place caught our eye and we decided to spend our last night here. We are so glad we did - the place really exceeded our expectations. The hotel and rooms are beautiful with a lovely atmosphere. The view of camps bay is spectactular. We really wish we had stayed here longer. We would like to pass on a special thanks to the lovely guy who checked us in (embarassingly we can't remember his name but he was new and from East London) - he went out of his way to make our stay memorable.

The room was clean and we felt like royalty. The food was great. Definitely would stay here again.
The load sharing that the country has to do right now.

Staffs were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, very well decorated, has complete amenities and beautiful sea view. Breakfast was really good. We were upgraded the first two nights from Garden Suite to River Palm Suite which was very spacious.
Electricity outage scheduled by the government which affected the AC use

Exceptional views, great location and rooms. We stayed in the Penthouse and it was like something from MTV Cribs. The breakfast was great and staff were a delight.
I can’t fault anything.

Absolument tout !

The venue had an incredible view, beautiful room and modern setup. It was easy to access everything and the balcony was stunning.
Nothing stands out aside from maybe a bit more privacy in the shower, as it is easy to see in from the outside.

The location and view is perfect
The beds are too soft, personal preference. The AC does not work during load shedding.

Hotel view.
- The beds weren't made properly with the undersheet not tucked in at all - we had to make it in the evening.
- The manager/hostess woman was ever so slightly rude/chippy. We couldn't work out whether it was because we were young or because she didn't understand our relationship (I am a wheelchair user and my partner is able-bodied).
- Our room was on the first floor, and the lift stopped working due to loadshedding - fair enough. However we weren't warned when it was clear we would need the lift, and when we called for help, there was no answer from any staff (6:20pm), 10 minutes later after my partner had carried me downstairs we saw the staff emerge to leave at shift-change. It felt as if they had pointedly ignored us calling for help.
- The hot breakfast is quite disgusting - I think the menu was written by the new German owners (a chain group).
- Nicer towels needed by the pool.

the staff not trained and someone called Calvin was very rude
I only asked if there is any availability to extend my stay and they booked another room for one more night and they withdrawed the money without my approval, even booking was shocked , I asked them to refund the amount for one more night then ( Calvin ) said we gonna cancel your booking. anyway booking knew how to dell with them, but I think this is not a 5 stars hotel
