The view to the ocean was very nice.
There were no heater no AC, the bed in the African room was extremely hard, it felt like sleeping on a on a plywood.
Both me and my partner woke up with a neck and back pain.
And right outside our room there was a bunch of junk like old beds and old chairs and other metal stuff.
Also as you walk into the hotel it smelled like sewage..

I love this spacious Tahitian style room with expansive views it the sea🐬 The desk was so friendly! We have stayed here before and this time we stayed in the larger suite. It was so beautiful!! The restaurant is great too sitting on a terrace over the ocean. The beach below is sandy and perfect and not too busy☀️🥰

I loved the location right at the beach! You have direct access to it!
I didn’t like that the parking is right next to the highway so close that if you need something from the trunk of your car you have to step on the highway to be able to take whatever you need from there! It is dangerous!

I really liked the view from the restaurant.
The room. It was a mediaeval, but it even smell like a dungeon.

It’s pet friendly, and the location is beautiful. It’s right on the cliff overlooking the beach! The room decor is fabulous, and sets it apart from any other other hotel we have stayed at in Mexico! They greeted us with 2 complimentary margaritas, so naturally we had a couple more, and decided to order dinner while we were at it. The food was delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, and accommodating. There’s no heaters, but the rooms do have fireplaces, and they sell fire logs for $8. The fireplace definitely took the chill off of the room, and made our stay even more romantic.
They have Wi-Fi, but no televisions in the rooms. The good news is my girlfriend, and I were there for a romantic weekend, so we had to find other activities to pass the time…. Most of the rooms are definitely not handicapped accessible, and there are about 90 stairs to reach the beach. Next time we’ll bring a laptop so we can stream Netflix at bedtime.

Staff was great, we arrived way past the check in time and they didn't make a fuss about it. Parking is off of main road but place seemed secure, I believe there is a guard on duty at all times as well. Restaurant had great food, service and views, plus: we got two complimentary margaritas with room booking. Room had great view of beach front (hotel is right on the beach) and each room has a certain theme which is nice. The hotel is conveniently located between Rosarito and Ensenada (almost exactly at the midpoint) which makes it easy to travel to both locations (Puerto Nuevo is also really close by).
Disclaimer: I consider myself an old grumpy man (even though I'm not even 40) so there are things that may seem normal that turn me off. Our room was situated above the bar. The night we got there we were tired and they happened to be hosting karaoke night, which may sound like fun but we were super exhausted after a 5 hour drive and the music was unbearably loud until 1:30 am. Also, we traveled in early March which was still cold and there is no HVAC in the room, only a wood furnace for which we had to buy wood at the front desk. I know we weren't traveling just to be in a room but it's worthwhile noting that there was no tv in the room. The toilet in the bathroom was situated right in front of a window that faces a public walkway. Granted, there was a curtain at the window, but it wouldn't take much for someone to get a peak if they really wanted to. Finally, since there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, our room had a gap at the top of the wall between the room and the bathroom.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great views from every room. Security for the car. Very homey and easy.
No thermos control. $7 for a log if you want a fire in your room. Very loud within the room- you can hear everyone around you.

booking directly with the hotel is a cheaper price, so I didn’t like the price through this website! contact the hotel directly.

The ocean view was great and you can feel the breeze.
The staff tried being accommodating.
The restaurant food was very good.
Cleaning staff was friendly and attentive.
The fan was on a 60 minute timer, so during the night we’d wake up hot and have to get up to turn the timer on.
The pullout couch/bed was broken. The bottom springs we’re broken off and so the mattress sank and we were not able to use it.
The water was extremely hot most of the time. We’d have to wait a while for the cool water to come through at all.
Some of the towels had odd stains on them.
There is no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up a flight of steps ourselves.

that there was no ac for the heat and the water was down for a while during the day

Very friendly staff. Gabriel and Israel were awesome and would give us rides to our destinations (obviously for a fee) but it was very convenient. The food at the bar and restaurant was amazing. We were definitely surprised. My only thing was there was no A/C and the fan in the room was not over the bed which made it hard to stay cool. Overall great experience here and would definitely stay here again.
Air conditioning in the rooms would be great

I like the privacy en the respect the the staff show to you! Many thanks to the manager and people in the restaurants! I'm looking forward to come back again! Thank you!
The only thing that I think the room needs is a TV! That's all!

The view was great. Beds were very comfortable.
Location was VERY far from where it was advertised. Rosarito was about 20km away. The "bathroom" wasn't one at all, it was part of the bedroom with only the toilet enclosed. The shower opened up into the main room. We had 2 beds because I was traveling with a friend. This made bathing awkward for both of us.The sink was a converted lion fountain that matched the awful decor. Floors were dirty, no maids came to clean until we were ready to check out, and there were zero amenities such as an iron, hair dryer, fridge, etc.

the room and the ocean view
the waitress in the restaurant attitude
