The location is wonderful- right in an easily walkable part of town. The staff could not have been nicer. We arrived late and they helped arrange airport pickup, and then we were able to eat dinner at the hotel. It was such a nice place to stay after a long travel day. I highly recommend!!
Nothing! 🙂

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and I loved the daily Ecuadorean treats that were given with breakfast, it was a great touch. The room was clean and tidy. The location was great for myself with food options nearby.
I booked into a "loft style" room but there weren't many guests at the time I was there so they probably could have just offered me a room without stairs especially given I was struggling with the altitude at times and would sometimes get out of breath going up the stairs haha but ultimately this was my fault for booking the wrong type of room unknowingly.

The breakfast was fine. Eggs were cooked as required and food delivered to the table. Not a vast choice. Staff were nice at breakfast and room was pleasant.
Our room was on the bottom floor and the only window, by the bed, faced an enclosed courtyard. The room was satisfactory for an overnight stay I would have found the lack of outside facing window claustrophobic if I had to stay longer. The lighting at night was not very good, as the bedside lights hanging from the ceiling lit the whole room too brightly. The bathroom fan was very noisy and the light would not go on without the fan. The towels were rather small. We checked in in the evening and check in felt rushed and not that welcoming after our long taxi ride from the airport.

Lovely property, enjoyed rooftop terrace late afternoon. Accommodated our very early arrival (requested ahead of time, otherwise there's a charge). Nice breakfast with good coffee.
Just me, needed sleep mask because of light from outside.

Felicitaciones!!

Chic and thoughtfully decorated, roof hang out area ,friendly and helpful staff.
Room had no AC , heat or fan. It got stuffy at times in the room. No air circulation. There was too much noise from the street below. My room had a front facing balcony and the door had no ability to block the outside noises. Heavy glass door would be better.

Elegant and safe right on the edge of the old town . Very good breakfast making the most of local ingredients and kind and attentive staff
The doorbell ringing which is necessary for people to get in made it hard to sleep until everyone was in as B the bell rings Throughout the house

Most of the staff were exceptional 👏 especially Roberto who helped me a lot and was very thoughtful and polite and very approachable.
There was also a lovely lady, but I cannot remember her name, but she also was very kind and helpful. She gave me recommendations and offered some advices.
I like that the hotel was clean, very very convenient location to multiple beautiful churches in walking distance, and easy to navigate to and from. They had same day laundry services which was very useful. There was a small but functional bar, with wines which I enjoyed. The rooftop terraza is the best part, which is very sunny, comfortable and with excellent views!!
They were very accommodating regards the breakfast options, as I am not able to eat gluten/breads, and they found me a corn based Tomale substitute. Very yummy.
The initial welcome to the hotel was not pleasant. I had requested a car service from airport to hotel, i was told someone would be waiting for me with a sign with my name, but after it hadn't arrived for quite some time, I sent a message to the hotel. They told me the driver picked up someone else and was not coming. It is fine to get a taxi, but was slightly annoyed that I had to wait, when I could have just left in taxi anyway.
Arrival to hotel was told my room would not be ready until 12. I took the time to walk around outside, and then returned at 12. When I asked about my room, was told it was actúally 2pm. This was also frustrating as I could have done other things instead of returned. This particular receptionist was not particularly pleasant.
The hot water takes 5 min to warm up, and the bathroom smells slightly moldy.

Staff (Karina) exceeded expectations in helping us find tours, making reservations for dinner, directions to sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent. Location is great. It is a newly remodeled hotel and everything was clean and nicely decorated. The room was charming and spacious. The night time staff arranged a trip from the airport (our driver was Martin - highly knowledgeable and concerned for our safety). Karina helped us arranged a tour to the middle of the earth . hIghly recommend this toursist sight.

Rooms are extremely damp and hot due to no AC and no outside windows in the double rooms.
Unfortunately very unprofessional management. There was an issue with the breakfast (which is very basic and definitely not worth 12$ per person). The staff didn’t tell us that the breakfast was not in our reservation. At checkout the receptionist called the hotel manager to double check, when I asked to talk to the manager all of a sudden the manager was not available.
Since we had to go to the airport we ended up paying. It left an extremely sour taste in our mouths.
Definitely not worth high price.

Staff was great - cook to order breakfast with a different local specialty available each morning and excellent location
only had hot water 1 of 4 days since they had boiler problems and 2 nights a smoke detector in the hall beeped all night because a battery needed to be replaced.

great staff! Karina was spectacular. She welcomed us, arranged all our activities and suggested great places to dine. Each morning she presented a great breakfast.
The stairs in the guest room could be a little tricky.

- excellent central location for the old historic center
- food was fabulous. More and more food just kept being brought out at breakfast time!
- you had to reserve 24hours in advance if you wanted an evening meal at the hotel but I would highly recommend - it was amazing!
- extremely friendly and helpful staff, couldn’t do enough for you.
- very clean property
- slightly dangerous stairs in the duplex apartment, take care at night!

beautiful opulent styled hotel, everything was super clean, the beds were comfy, good Wi-Fi, great hot water and good pressure showers, breakfast was delicious, staff were super friendly and helpful and 5 mins walk to the main square.
the room we stayed in first was quite small and had very little windows and not enough natural sunlight. but they swapped us into the bigger suite which was much bigger and had heaps more light.

The location of the hotel was ideal for seeing the older part of Quito. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, and the breakfast was very good and freshly prepared. It was nice to have the loft area for the kids to sleep slightly away from our bed.
The stairs to the loft at the corner were pretty tight, but if you paid attention it wasn't an issue.
