It was right in front of the sea. It was spacious and clean
We had to throw the toilet paper into the bin, like everywhere else on the island. But no one came to clean and empty the bin in 5 days. It was awfully full

Nothing but the moment we left the room!
Its terrible.
From the moment we arrived we felt so disappointed, we were there for our honey moon but left after just 2 hours! When we entered the room its felt so old and dirty. Its smells and there is mold every where, especially in the shower. The hosts refused to refund us and took 3 night payment! I hope they will us it to renew their property because the conditions there now are not suitable for vacation!

Perfect location on the Island, few restaurants and bars around, house itself is on the vulcanic beach.
could be cleaner and they could have possibility to leave luggage there before check in

Nothing! We slept in the car! Accommodation was full of cockroaches in the bed.
There were cockroaches in the bed and in the bathroom and ants all over the kitchentabel. You could find food from the last guests on the floor. The service was unfriendly. When we told about the cockroaches they ignored us.

not much
the door would stay closed unless it was locked and to lock and unlock it was quite the challenge. the people who came to let us in that we paid $50 for didn’t speak English and literally was there for 30seconds. the house smelled like mold and it was freezing there was 2 heaters that barely worked. the hot water tank was so small you only had enough hot water to wash either your hair or your body not enough time for both the same shower. all of the curtains were shear so people could see into the house at night. And last but certainly not least was the roaches. there was huge palmetto bugs and house centipedes ants and a few other bugs that I couldn’t identify.

seafront
no privacy. it’s right on side walk and people kept looking inside. 2 men tried to walk into our apartment. my husband chased them away. I don’t think they were being malicious, probably just curious or thought it was public space.
it’s literally on the walking path to the beach.
the price was wayyy too high for this place.
ive never rented a place (booking.com, Airbnb , or Vrbo) that charged me 25 EU per person for “checking in”. this was not stated until a few days before my trip so this felt like a scam.
not enough hot water for more than one 5 min shower at a time.
also, too many bugs (ants) even though we kept it clean.
we left a day early bc we just couldn’t do this anymore. the people refused to reimburse us for the lost night

The location was excellent - with sea view and great spot for sunsets, very "tranquillo", we have waterfall in our "backyard" where you can swim. 2-3 minutes walk to two great restaurants (Maresia and Papandatos), great personal touch with the old CD collections. Walking distance from one of the "biggest" supermarkets in the village. We love Faja Grande in general.
We stayed there for 6 nights but our place was only cleaned up once - when we checked out. We noticed that in the last 2 days, the house needed a bit of cleaning as bugs started to come out. Would be nice to have the house clean at least half way (after 3 days) of our stay, especially since we needed to pay 25eur pp for cleaning fee. The house can also benefit from a bit of maintenance (some paints were already worn off). All in all though, Alexandra (the cleaning lady) was very nice and helpful and the owner has been very responsive throughout our stay.

what an amazing location!!
the mattress could use a thin, soft pad. it was pretty stiff

Best location in the area. The owner is online and helpful
Cold, no air conditioner, only heater. Need some cosmetics. A lot of ants.

Location
The host was not very committed in the check in and during our stay; there were few things not clean; in the middle of the stay we asked some help on the garbage matter and we are still waiting.

Casa Atlantida at the arrival was full, but the staff take us to the house nearby.
Wau, wau it was super big house with big kitchen with terrace with sea wiew.
More than we expected. For me the best accomodation in Azores.

The location was amazing.
The house was very cold.

The location is perfect for the island. Faja Grande is the place to be. And this house right by the sea, was perfect!
The house has everything that we needed for a great week.
The house is a bit cold, and there is no heater. There were areas of the house that smelled a little musty, but I think it must be a general problem of the island and its houses with little insulation.

We had all the appliances, and all the comfort.
Be careful with the door (it's got a trick, if you skip it it might not be conveniently closed!).
