lovely cosy cottage close to sea and shops
bathroom was a little small

Perfect position, traffic and people walking past a bit noisy at times but that is the price of being so central. Cannot fault this as a holiday location. So much to do and see from the cottage. Would definitely go again.
Front door did not latch and blew open unless we locked it.

Good central location, good powerful shower, comfortable bed and sofas.
Tired decor, cleanliness could have been better.

Great location, was allowed in at 2pm instead of 4pm. Really clean and comfy beds!
That we didn't stay longer!

Aldeburgh is a lovely seaside town retaining independent shops and restaurants. The cottage is on the high street with a small frontage. Inside as expected with cosy living space fully equipped compact kitchen and newly refurbed bathroom. small outside private space, but next door does have access across it. Easy access to everything you require for an English seaside holiday. Parking is easy at the rear of the property either using the two hour free slots up the high street or the pay& display overnight which is free until 8am. Little morning walk to put a ticket on and a stroll on the beach.
Considering covid is still with us, I was expecting a level of cleanliness. However, the banister rail on the steep staircase was black with hand marks. Small point to raise but it spoiled the initial wow factor. There is a very strange small toilet in the main bedroom, fitted inside a cupboard and it's impossible to close the door if you are using it. Complete waste unless you are a single occupant. There is bizarrely a freezer sitting in the lounge. Personally, I can't see the need for it even if four people are staying for a week's holiday. Plenty of fridge space and shops across the road. Just my opinion.

A central location in the town and near the sea. Lovely comfortable cottage which was perfect for 3 of us.
Nothing, all perfect.

The cottage is absolutely enchanting and couldn't be in a better or more convenient position to explore Aldeburgh.
The log burner was, I quote "The best I have come across" my husband declared upon arrival!
The beds incredibly comfy and the living room so cosy. Loved the layout.
Just one thing - the gutter at the front of the house may need a clean - it rained on our arrival and it spilled over the top of the front door.

The cottage was comfortable and cosy. A great place for one person to stay. Location is excellent. Didn't use my car at all while I was staying - very easy to walk everywhere. The bed was very comfy.
Traffic noise quite noticeable at times, as the cottage is right on the High Street.
A bit of a refresh would be good, especially of things like the crockery and glasses. Not all the cutlery and glasses were that clean either

Pretty, cosy and comfortable. All you need.

A very cosy evening - if a rather expensive one - spent in a pleasant cottage, perfectly located for the beach, pubs, lovely cafes and art and craft shops. What more could you ask? Even the weather was on our side!
We were very keen for a quick getaway, especially as we didn’t get a holiday this year. But £280 a night, ( check in at 4pm) seems excessive, particularly as we had to vacate prompt at 10 am the next morning.

Brilliant location. Cute cottage and perfect for our family of 4
