The location was excellent- very central and easy to find. The kitchen facilities were excellent with everything you'd need including a decent coffee maker and pods. The bathroom facilities were also very good with decent complementary toiletries, good pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. It was quiet and felt safe and secluded.
The entire hotel is painted in a dark sludgy green colour - it is everywhere(!) and whilst it could be described as 'modern' and 'quirky', it felt oppressive and claustrophobic. Our room was pretty small and the decor could have done with some refreshing (chips in the paintwork and stains on the carpet) and again, the dark colour (more sludgy green!) made it feel cramped. Some basic maintenance had been overlooked (dust on some of the surfaces and a bathroom door handle that kept falling off). We found the reception staff generally helpful but communication could be difficult because they didn't speak much English.

Location was good and easy to get to. Central to bus and easy enough to walk into CBD.
Staff were not particularly accommodating with helping with luggage storage the next day , as we had a late flight. Thought staff could have been more helpful in providing options for this.

A great location. Very close to a few tram lines which made it so easy to travel around. The rooms were amazing and clean.

Amazing experience! Really cozy and nicely designed and decorated room, modern with historical touch. The building is old and it’s really interesting to be inside.
I appreciated soft and clean towels and bathrobe.
The location is good, we walked everywhere, or used tram. Didn’t want to leave this place
The check out is quite early (10:30), but probably it’s normal.

Loved the location and the staff were so friendly. The room was clean and very stylish.
To be fair it was exceptionally hot weather but the aircon wasn't strong enough in the room and only slightly cooled one side of it

The rooms were dark

Plenty of space and good facilities. A comfy bed and good shower. It was a hot weekend and there was air con. Movement triggered lights under the bed so partner wasn't disturbed when I got up.
The stairs are steep although I think that is standard in Amsterdam.

Luxury bathrooms and beds
We were not given the room we booked, we were given an inferior room without the things we asked for. We have not received any explanation or refund

The location is good.
I found room 25 claustrophobic and dark - also a person can only watch TV whilst sitting on the bed.
I had previously stayed in Room 20 and I have booked for further stays .
please do not allocate Room 25 to me again
Thanks

The Studios are in a nice quiet and gentrified area with good tram services to everything. Daily servicing appreciated. Bed was comfortable. Good check in.
Stairs down to subterranean bedroom and bathroom were steep and narrow- one needs to be fit. Some basic things lacking in kitchen- no toaster, or tea towels. Bedroom became quite warm overnight. There is no couch.

It was a lovely contemporary suite in a great location.
When the towels were changed they only replaced 2 of them so we had to ask for the others to be done too. The ensuite shower screen needed the room door to be open to fit around it.

comfortable bed, on the tram line
carpets require steam cleaning, I asked for the grate in the shower to be unblocked on day one but it was not attended to, corners of room have much dust

location is perfect, rooms are small but nice
qr code system doesnt work properly, no people on the reception desk ,you need to call them , no luggage starage, check out at 10:00 and you cant leave your luggage anywhere . it’s even close to 3 star hotel .

Location of the hotel is right across the botanical garden in university area, very quiet place
The host sent us some 10+ emails, we felt completely overwhelmed by a number of automatically generated unsolicited emails, we were asked for our credit card credentials, despite we paid via booking.com portal. The whole hotel is on QR code access only, without it you cannot enter neither the house, nor the room. There is no service in the house, just room. Room is dark and unventilated, no possibility to open windows to get some fresh air.

Very nice hotel with good location. There is no front desk, but if you need smth you can call and staff will help you.
Very clean room, good shower, bathrobe and slippers are available. in the corner of the street there is cozy place to have breakfast. But you need to make reservation.
You can access the hotel and the room only with qr code on your mobile. keep in mind to have your mobile charged.
I lived in studio, the bed is very soft, but because of the fact, that it consists from 2 separate beds, when you sleep you are rolling down to the center of the bed. In this case it was not comfortable to sleep for two persons.

The location was great.
The bathroom was dirty. There was a plug left in which caused the shower to overflow. I removed it and it was full of someone else's hair, and the bathroom stunk.

location, clean, good size rooms, everything really.
stupid really but had no bottles of water in our room and could possibly benefit from having some little pots of milk for Tea.

We loved our stay here.
Room gives strong slytherin house common room vibes.
Nothing to complain about, would come here again

The location was very central and right across the road from the zoo which was great

lovely staff and right next to the trams

I don't select breakfast. The location to approach via tram from Central Amsterdam Station is very good although it take some time. The hotel is located at a quiet location. Albert Heijn supermarket is the nearest supermarket which is also at a long walk .
The information given on email regarding approach to Artis from Central station Amsterdam to hotel by tram # was not updated . I have to find the tram # from tram drivers with difficulty as there was rain also . You can imagine that with luggage how it was difficult to roam around during rain .

It's one of those boutique experiences that only an experienced traveler can appreciate. Really grand time. Thanks guys. Top marks.

Cosy room with lots of basic amenities, cleaned everyday and felt very secure.
Great location, zoo was just over the road which we enjoyed and the tram was outside the door (we weren’t sure how to use it) but we walked everywhere during our stay.
The double bed room were 2 singles pushed together so they came apart which was disappointing.
We only had 1 fork in the kitchen so when we cooked meals together, we had to share it.
Slight leak from the dishwasher which made the floor a little wet.
