The staff was very nice and friendly
Everything else. The cabin has 2 apartments, and you can hear everything from the other apartment. The cabin is so cold, the restaurant is closed at 6pm, so you have to go back to Salento to have a dinner. THERE IS NO WIFI!!!!
The cherry on the top: they call me one month later to let me know they forgot to charge me for the stay. I thought Booking.com charged me at the time of the reservation. I do not live in Colombia, so I had to transfer money to a family member of the manager of the hotel because they can’t take a payment via PayPal or credit card, other than make a deposit to a bank account in Colombia.

The lodge is perfect for a group of friends of family. People are really welcome and helpful. Breakfast was great. The view is stunning.
They have great play area for kids and they can organise horse ride.

The cabins were amazing. They are beautiful and surrounded by gardens. At night it can get chilly but we are provided with more than enough blankets to be cozy in bed. During the day I spent my time hiking. This is an incredible location for hiking, you are right next to the stop where all the jeep taxis drop off hikers from the town of Salento. At night the sky is lit up with stars. The food at the restaurant was delicious and servings were large. The staff was friendly and even delivered dessert to my cabin the first night I got in. Overall, a magical stay.
Breakfast doesn't start until 8 am so if you want to get an early start to the day you may need to skip the complementary breakfast or come back for it.

The location is great, at the entrance of Valle del Cocora. The cabin was simple but very comfy and with stunning views, you can literally see the Palmas de Cera from the window. Delicious food and Super friendly staff, we felt very welcomed since the moment we got out of the car.
Tania was very helpful when I had a problem with the booking and during our stay. Mario was great, excellent customer service! We will definitely come back!
Don’t miss out this place if you come to Valle del Cocora.

When I booked this hotel, I did it considering their ideal location in the Cocora Valley (close to the wax palms in a quiet and rural setting), It didn't disappoint!. The setting was awesome and the staff was even better. We arrived 2 minutes before 7:00 pm, it was pitch black and raining, however, there were 2 members of the staff waiting for us ready to lead us to our chalet and helping us. The Main lobby was closed and they installed us with no check-in. The chalet was ready and warm. The restaurant was closed but we had a minibar (additional charge) and a coffee pot and we improvised. I requested additional pillows and blankets, and they were already there.
The next day, Tania at the front desk checked us in, she was so worried because she was not able to get in touch with us the day before, immediately seated us for breakfast and Mario came to explain the "House breakfast" (included in our stay); eggs prepared by request, arepa, toast, fresh "requeson", artisanal marmalades, freshly squeezed orange juice and a cup of the best coffee (or chocolate). We added chorizo !Yummy!
Althought, we just stayed one night, the staff invited us to enjoy the grounds (we got awesome pics), and to participate in other activities nearby like cabalgatas (horse riding), guided nature walks, and visits to Salento (traditional town) and la Truchera (trout breeding program and restaurant). Mario was very knowleadgeable and enterteining.
They could offer some internet access. And bring mosquito protection.

The place is beautiful. The cabaña would be a nice idea to stay up in the valley and enjoy the peacefulness of the place.
A pity your cabaña is not isolated from the others. It s actually 1 big cabaña split in 3. Therefore over the weekend if the neighbours is partying forget about the peacefulness of the place. Due to very high affluence the staff was unfortunately not very helpful. We assume it s due to the pick season (semana santa) that we had no water to shower neither...

The room and the Cabañas was wonderful! It really exceeded my expectations. The hot water has a trick, you have to open it slowly so that you get good hot water. The place is perfect because you are right were the movement is happening: the horses, the restaurant, the attractions. Beautiful sightseen. The mountains and the palms are very near. They only transportation are the jeeps: $US1 each leg. Make sure you check the schedule.
The only problem that I see is food after 7ish. If you do not buy or bring anything you will have issues. They should place a microwave in the room because it gets really cold inside. The check in is not very good. The person that checks you in is the same one that is in the restaurant and they do not pay much attention to you. They should have a person for that when they know that people is arriving. They should have a contact number. There was no way to communicate with them.

Amazing location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Very good value for your money.
A little heater would be highly appreciated but they provide good blankets to overcome the cold nights.

Location is convenient.
The place was noisy and the bathroom had fungus because of humidity problems coming from the floor
