Artsy, cozy, sunny, and most importantly, steps to a private beach in a gated and secure neighborhood with 24hr security. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath (ONE FULL BEDROOM AND BATHROOM ACCESSIBLE ONLY FROM THE OUTSIDE, BESIDE THE POOL), 2 living room, newly renovated home is just the place to get away in comfort and style. The second living room doubles as a bonus bedroom, when in need, with a convertible couch and privacy curtains. Panoramic ocean views from the balcony. Consistently good surf (not for beginners!) right out the front door and just 10 minutes to Jaco Beach for anyone who’s surfing skill set is not yet polished.

This house has it all! Private pool, outside shower, newly added tiki hut at the end of the pool, oceanfront balcony in the master bedroom with sweeping ocean views, and so much more. This house is fully equipped with 100% cotton sheets and towels, comfy pillow top beds & ample pillows in every room, custom teak kitchen with loads of cooking & baking gadgets for when you feel like getting creative. Endless hot water and excellent shower pressure in the all brand new bathrooms.

We are a kid friendly home and have a pack & play, video & 2 way voice baby monitor, and baby gate to keep your little ones safe from the stairs. There are toys and a giant bin of legos & coloring books and children's books for when you need some down time. A private long and deep swimming pool with a brand new tiki hut at the back end for lounging your days away.

There is also a large, beachfront, zero entry community pool with a shallow kids pool, beautiful bathrooms , WiFi, and swim up bar that serves amazing drinks and seriously fresh and delicious home made food most days (it’s still Costa Rica y’all!).

The expansive, stunning, black sand beach is private and only accessible to owners and guests of the Hermosa Palms community so you’ll never have to battle crowds or fight for a spot in the sand. This beach consistently has the BEST, most dramatic sunsets I’ve ever seen (and we’re from the Florida Keys)! And WAVES!!! This is a serious surfer’s beach with consistently large and heavy wave sets but still calm enough at times for the kids to play in the shore-break. Jaco beach is just a short drive (about 10 min) away and offers fantastic waves for beginners and surfers of all skill sets at different breaks along its massive beach.

Scarlett macaws, and many other birds and animals, are always in view or squawking by & hanging in the almond trees that speckle the neighborhood. Baby hatchling turtles regularly making their way into the ocean on the beach just out front & MORE & MORE GALORE!!!

NOTE TO GUESTS. THERE IS A THIRD STORY APARTMENT ABOVE THE HOME THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE BY GUESTS. IT IS AN OWNER APARTMENT WITH ACCESS FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOME. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANYONE USING THE POOL OR FACILITIES OF THE GENERAL HOME DURING YOUR STAY.

This house was an amazing location with views of the ocean. Not only did we enjoy our private pool but the community pool was beautiful and right next to the beach. The restaurant and bar onsite was definitely the highlight. My family insisted on eating there every night! Yoyo's food was to die for and again, the views! The house was perfect and lovely in every way. Roberto was helpful with everything we needed and we can't wait to return! Thank you Joy for an amazing stay!

We stayed her at the end of December through first of January for a week. We loved first the easy check in. Roberto was amazing. So available and easy to reach. The property with secure gate and beach and pool was equally great. The absolute best part hands down was YoYo’s snack and drink shack right by the pool. Best food and drinks we had during our stay. Great staff there also! Our house worked great for our family and was just in perfect shape!! We will be back for sure!

We stayed in the neighborhood before, so I knew the area quite well. I had thought there was a grill on site. It was on the impression that there would be, but that was not the case and there is no dishwasher. The property was as described, clean, convenient, and the check-in, and checkout process was great.

Everything was perfect. The house, the pool, the neighborhood, absolutely perfect. Watching surfers from the balcony, walking to the beach for sunsets, you literally could not ask for anything more. The owner and her family were amazing as WISE Roberto the property manager. If this place is available, it’s the only one we will ever stay at and central Costa Rica.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week relaxing at Casa Florida. The house was the perfect size for our family of 6 adults with a large downstairs common area while also offering everyone their own bedroom space. The pool at the house along with the amenities at the beach club and the beach access were all very convenient. Roberto was an amazing host, very helpful, very responsive and extremely patient with all our questions. Great central location for day trips to Manuel Antonio, Quepos, and Isla Tortuga. We did not rent a car so the only real challenge we was getting Ubers but that was our choice and just required a little extra planning and patience. Highly recommend!!!

We loved our time in Hermosa Palms. the house was as described. The private pool and ocean views were wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the house was set up great for a family of 8. We had a few mishaps with the kitchen appliances (no hot water in kitchen sink, dishwasher broken, refrigerator was on the fritz one day) and although the house manager was unable to have these fixed during our ten day stay he did try. We can’t wait to return again to this wonderful surf spot!

This is the second trip where we have stayed in the hermosa palms neighborhood and our first time in this house. The neighborhood and house are both fantastic. The house is clean and roomy. Our flight was delayed several hours but The property manager Roberto met us at the house at around 9:30pm and was glad to give us a quick tour. We didn’t require anything while there but Roberto was very helpful with suggestions on restaurants and would immediately respond to text messages. The house is a 60 second walk to the community pool and beach. Yoyo owns the bar/restaurant at the pool and she is a big reason we will continue to stay in this neighborhood. Yoyo is an outstanding bartender/restaurant owner but an even better person! If you go fishing you have to bring her the fish and ask her to cook it, it’s amazing! Overall hermosa palms is our favorite place to stay and we look forward to future trips. San Jose airport to the neighborhood is 2 hours depending on traffic. Jaco is about 15 minutes, los suenos is about 30 and manuel Antonio is about 2 hours. Great house, great neighborhood. Don’t hesitate to book it. Thanks joy and Roberto!

Great layout and nicely designed. Very clean and Roberto was great for check in and assistance. Good wifi for remote work, Netflix, multiple pools and amazingly beautiful beach. Yo-yos was closed so we had to cook and go into town for meals. Be aware a 4x4 is greatly helpful for the rugged dirt road to the community. Would recommend for sure

We loved this rental in Hermosa Palms. Everything was wonderful; everything functioned properly. Great AC. Great hot water. Great water pressure. Roberto manages the rental and he was easy to work with and very helpful. The house was perfect for our party of 8. Hermosa Palms is prime location in Costa Rica. It's not only extremely beautiful, but it is a gated and safe place to vacation. The beach is gorgeous and was never crowded, a surfers paradise. The community pool is lovely and the swim up bar is great for food and drinks. We will absolutely be back.

The house and location were fantastic, the most beautiful beach we have been to with stunning sunsets. We had everything we needed PLUS the best experience and service from the Property Manger, Roberto, who provided onsite essential details and recommendations for a magical holiday. The property owner, Joy, was also excellent and welcoming with initial communications and local suggestions and connecting us with Roberto. We had the privacy with the lap pool and spacious rooms, then also glorious beach and community pool. Yoyo's food at the pool and for takeout is a huge step up from most poolside restaurants. The curry and burrito bowls are must-orders. Comfort, culture, friendliness, beach, safety, service, and fun...this house and location tick all the boxes. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and is rated the highest compared to our previous Caribbean destinations. Thank you Joy and Roberto!

We stayed at this property for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and kind! The property manager, Roberto was very quick at responding to any need or request we had. Joy, the home owner was equally as nice and helpful! The home is beautiful and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and we truly felt at home. We had a chef for the duration of our stay, Ricardo who was incredible—extremely professional and made very gourmet dishes (grocery shopping daily for our moods) but most importantly very kind, caring and family oriented. The beach is a few feet away and the community pool and Yoyo’s (restaurant) was perfect! The overall location to a plethora of activities was perfect!! Auto Mercado was where we grocery shopped if we wanted any additional things and it had everything we needed or wanted. We truly fell in love with Playa Hermosa and are in the process of buying a home there we loved it so much! Highly recommend this wonderful property!
