Très bon séjour

Le patron très sympa. Il nous a indiqué un super petit restau ! L'endroit calme, mais un peu excentré... Rapport qualité/prix très correct

三十三間堂そばの格安旅館

宿泊料金が格安。駅から徒歩で行ける。三十三間堂のすぐそばなので、このお寺を観光したいなら最適。ほぼセルフサービスなので、気楽に過ごせる。ご主人が温厚な感じの方だった。

古民家に泊まるような感覚なので、リッチな旅を求める人には不向き。窓から景色を眺めたりはできない。

Everything! The owner is amazing, and the rooms are so traditional and well kept. Location is also pretty convenient, 10-15 min walk to kyoto station.

Une expérience du Japon exceptionnelle

A l'image de la ville de Kyoto, la chambre est magnifique, à l'accueil il y a un réfrigérateur, micro onde, bouilloire, thé... Tout est présent pour un séjour parfait. Wifi, Clim, un grand placard, évidemment les futons peuvent être rudes si on n'est pas habitués mais pour 3 jours en tout cas nous n'avons pas eu de mal et aurions pu rester plus sans problème. L'accueil était parfait le gérant était très serviable et sympathique. Accessible à pied depuis la gare de Kyoto (10 minutes) ou la ligne JR au sud (6 minutes) la situation est idéale. On trouve une laverie à proximité, 7/11 à 5 minutes et des restaurants dont un d'okonomiyaki juste à côté. Juste à côté du temple Sanjūsangen-dō à voir absolument, l'emplacement est vraiment bien. Merci mille fois pour ce séjour !

Calm and cosy traditionnal room in Kyoto!

The room was super clean and cosy. The neighbourhood is very calm, and everything you need is available on the ground floor. The check in was very simple, the staff even let us know we could check in earlier, and the location was quite convenient for us ! And although the room was small, it had a large closet where we could put our large backpacks in, so the room didn't feel cramped! We had a really good stay !

Quite an eye-opening.

Friendly staff

We are put at the room in first floor. When we were check in, the room windows and doors are opened. After squeezed through the narrow corridor with 2 huge fridge, the room wasn't smell bad at all. So we locked the window and door, left our luggage and went out. After we came back, the room smelled with very strong moldly and mushy. After closer inspection, the bed sheet is also discolored and the walls is rather dirty. So we checked out at night and moved to a chain hotel near the station. We did not take any photos as we are horrified and need to leave the place quick.

Great place; Would stay here again

Really loved that even if I checked in late, the owner left my keys for me and a note. Also, the signs inside the room on how to work the remote and the hot water were very helpful. The place is very nice and quiet. My sleep was restful, and I loved my experience.

We had a really nice stay in this traditional Ryokan near the Kyoto Station. Check in was very easy and we could check in earlier, that was very comfortable.

Best budget hotel

Everything you could want or expect from a budget hotel and more. The owners are really friendly and accommodating. Clean and comfortable, great WiFi. Absolutely would stay again.

10 am checkout time is a bit early but this does seem to be standard.

Great place to stay - awesome, friendly and funny host

We really liked the friendly host and self check in. The Wi-Fi was great and the rooms clean and cozy. There is free tee and water, as well as a big fridge. We had a small balcony with a nice view. The host might not speak perfect English but is very eager to help with everything (f.e where to go to buy tea or have a sake tasting).

Highly Recommended!!

Nice, clean, simple, and spacious tatami room that has a very Japanese feel. Our room even had a view of Kyoto Tower in the distance too! Check-in was contactless, so the owner just left the keys on the counter for us to pick-up. We met a staff in the morning during check-out and he was extremely friendly. Overall highly recommended place to stay~

Please note that the Kyoto City accommodation tax is not included and needs to be paid separately after you arrive. Other than that, everything was great!
