Kleines, ruhiges und dennoch zentral gelegenes Hotel

Gemeinschaftsküche mit Kühlschrank, sehr sauber, kleiner Pool, Zimmer zweckmäßig, bei 8 Tagen Aufenthalt wurde das Zimmer 2x grundgereinigt (= ökologischer Aspekt), am Abreisetag war abends duschen (mit Handtüchern vom Hotel) möglich

Great stay, recommended

Great location, friendly staff, and clean room and common places. They upgraded me to a room with washing machine and kitchenette, which was useful during the very warm week that I spent there. The staff were kind to let me take a shower before checking in and after checking out and also to store my luggage both times. There are calm common areas to sit outside, a smoking area, and a common kitchen with free hot beverages. The laundry was useful for ironing clothes (self-service). I was a solo female traveller and I felt safe in the hotel. Chinatown and Outram Park MRT are 15 mins away by walk, but there are also 2 bus stops 3-4 mins away.

The bed was very hard.

Best location in Singapore, a small hawker center nearby with great food

Habyt Cantonment is an amazing hotel with one of the best locations in Singapore. It is only a 5-minute walk from Outram station, which is a junction of three lines, making most tourist attractions accessible within 2-3 train stops. The staff are extremely friendly, and the hotel has a nice swimming pool, which is surprisingly quiet despite being centrally located. Complimentary coffee tasting as good as in many great coffee shops is a very nice touch. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom.

There is little to complain about as this was an amazing stay. However, the cleaning staff forgot to refill toilet paper twice, and they did not do anything except change towels and linen. Due to this, our floor was a bit messy after a 2-week stay, and our shower was getting clogged.

The hotel was exactly what I was looking for, exceptionally maintained in all regards the front of house staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment of checking in to my eventual departure.

At one point some maintenance had to be done on the air conditioning units in the rooms a notice would have been nice beforehand but regardless this did not affect my overall opinion of the hotel.

Worst experience of my life - they took my $1000 and refuse to give it back even after all that was wrong. Do not stay h

Nothing. Such a bad location - noisy main road next to the building, reception area is connected to where you work so you constantly have people coming in. Would never stay here again and would never recommend anyone go there.

Too noisy, I couldn’t sleep and had to move hotels after one night (which they refused to acknowledge or give me my money back), the room was so dirty I had disgusting stuff stuck to my feet, the toilet seat was broken, rubbish under the bed and the worst of all, the aircon was broken and they refused to do anything about it. Don’t waste your money going here - I wouldn’t stay even if it was free.

Don’t book this place.

Location is on the edge of the city centre. Three MRT stations are within a 10-20min walk. A few shopping centres nearby and plenty of food outlets as the hotel is on the very edge of Chinatown. Good bathroom. Washing machine was good.

We had booked for 7 nights, the bed was very uncomfortable. Cleaning only happens twice a week. The fridge in our room didn’t chill properly and food spoilt. The air conditioning was temperamental. We were upgraded to an XL room from an L. It was considerably smaller than advertised online. Kitchen was limited - there wasn’t even a chopping board. You could boil something or microwave it. No facilities to hang washing in the room (seemed a basic item if supplying a washing machine). No ironing board and iron in the room, had to go to the laundry room to do so where there was no air con. The co-working space doubles as the hotel reception, the vibe is a bit odd there. Lastly, staff were on the whole friendly but disinterested in fixing any real problems.

Good points- 4 blocks away from the nearest MRT Communal kitchen with good coffee machine

Bad points- room smelling cigarettes, run down swimming pool, very small rooms, no lift(it’s a 3 storey building), air conditioner didn’t work properly.

Sehr gute Lage

Der Standort war Super, möglichkeit zum Kleider Waschen, Kühlschrank.

Ich bin sehr Geräusch empfindlich, könnten nach einer Nacht Zimmer wechseln. War danach Ruhiger aber Trozdem ein dauergeräusch von einer Maschine. Dusche erst nach der 4 Nacht warm, es war zum Glück genug warm das Kühl Duschen möglich war.

Very noisy room 212 is right above the boom gate for cars Self closing doors slam well into the night . Something ought to be done for doors( in my opinion) like soft closing devices or at least notes for guest to be mindful and hold doors to soft close at least after 10 pm

Updated, cute and comfy. The sheets were super soft.

I didn’t love being placed on the ground level by the front door as a solo female traveler and the receptionist showed my room number to another male guest I didn’t know while we checked in together - I know it wasn’t an intentional thing but it definitely put me on a higher alert of my surroundings. I ended up feeling safe but it was a concerning start. And the laundry is pricey haha

Fabulous stay, will stay again

We stayed for 2 weeks. The staff were fabulous, genuinely interested in providing an excellent service. The bed was really comfortable, the room was nice and clean, the shower had excellent pressure and water temperature adjustable, hot when wanted. We didn't use the communal lounge much. We used the communal kitchen just for coffee and drinks. Walking distance to the MRT and bus stops. Walking distance to Tangong Pagar - fabulous hawker centre. Also not far from Chinatown.

Fabulous.

I loved the co living and working spaces. Communal kitchens were great. Coffee and tea, ice machine, water stations, stove , microwave etc. The staff were so helpful. The location was central to everything and the food places out the front door were so cheap. I definitely will be back.

Un hotel diferente, confortable y perfecto para descansar.

Lo que más me gustó fue el concepto de hotel, nada convencional. La habitación es bonita pero básica, compensado con unos espacios comunes excelentes, cómodos, limpios… que te permiten descansar, cocinar, lavar la ropa. En una ciudad tan cara como Singapur es muy importante.

Que no se abrían las ventanas y se concentraba la humedad del baño.

Konsepti oli hyvä, ei joutunut maksamaan turhasta ravintolasta ja työtilat yhteiskeittiöineen olivat toimivat. Receptionin henkilökunta avuliasta ja hyväntuulista.

The check-in is very customer-friendly, the staff can be reached at late night. Rooms are clean and neat, small but quality.

The noise isolation is not very well, we can clearly hear people shut their doors at nearby rooms, and we can hear people talking when they walk pass the corridor. That means they can hear us from outside when they pass by the room.

Great value for money and a friendly welcome

This is a great place to stay if you are in Singapore for more than a couple of days. Location-wise, it's a short walk from China Town and less than 10 minutes from MRT stations. It's a hybrid model, with normal hotel-style en-suite rooms plus communal kitchens, laundrette and lounge. This was great for our longer (8 day) stay as we could make our own drinks/lunch, write up our journal in the spacious lounge and get our washing done. The staff are all friendly and helpful, organising taxis as necessary. There's a car park, so getting picked up and dropped off is easy. Rooms are cleaned/serviced twice a week, which was fine for us. And there's free tea, coffee and ice.

It was a little noisy from road traffic.

Holiday at Hmlet Cantonment

I liked the staff, they were all very helpful and pleasant. The coffee machines in communal areas were wonderful. The communal kitchen and cafeteria area had great cooking facilities, fridge, utensils, etc. Great way to meet people. Bus stop outside of hotel. 10 min walk to Outram Park MRT. Doctor surgery across the road - very competent and reasonably priced. Front desk staff will help with anything, for example, organising recovery of my passport which I had lost in the Changi airport. One manager offered a free sim card for mobile. Safe in room. Bed comfortable. Rooms serviced twice weekly. Communal areas kept clean.

No phones in rooms, have to use own mobile. Mine didn't work (my problem not the hotels) Floors in room need sweeping/ mopping twice a week, nicer to walk on.

2回目の滞在でした、前回も今回も英語でのコミュニケーションが取れない場面では翻訳サイトを使いながら一生懸命伝えようとしてくれました。スタッフの皆さんがとても明るく、挨拶をしてくれました。終始気持ちよく過ごせました。

部屋に入ると独特なにおいがしました。廊下は臭わないので部屋だけですが、そこだけ改善されたら最高だなと思います。

godt rum, som også udgjorde receptionen. Her kunne man både arbejde og spise/drikke kaffe. Stærkt at kaffe og vand var gratis :-)

Dørene klappede noget kraftigt i, så man kunne blive vækket.... Alt for lille swimming pool.... :-)

The location is great if you are visiting Chinatown, it only took about 10 mins walkingto get there.

I love about the staff here, they are very helpful with providing lots of useful information. Especially one of the staff (it's a shame I forgot to ask for his name 🥲) , he always sit on the left of the check-in counter, the whole check-in experience and hotel guide is wonderful.

Everything was fantastic! If I had to pick one thing, I'd suggest adding a shower curtain or a glass door for the shower. Currently, there's a glass wall, but it doesn't fully prevent water from splashing.
