Beautiful property in a truly stunning location. Really friendly owners.
It was perfect. All I would suggest is leaving some milk in the fridge 😊
4.5
Owner was flexible with check out time around our needs
Only thing that was an issue was there was a lot of dog poo in the garden which stopped the kids being able to play out there freely

Lovely location, and facilities. We really appreciated the wine and eggs that were provided. The garden is lovely, our daughter loved playing in it. The beds are comfortable too.

Stunning views, peaceful location, 5 minutes off motorway
The lane to the cottage is very narrow, steep and quite rough

Fabulous location
Nothing. Loved it all

Great location and spacious. Nice garden the kids could play in. Cottage very well equipped interns of kitchen items, games etc. hosts left a bottle of homemade wine and eggs for us which was a lovely gesture. highly recommend.
For a cottage with an occupancy of 7 (we only had 6) it would have benefited from a second shower.

This is my second stay at the barn. I have a third stay booked as I feel so at home here.
In a quiet location with beautiful views this is a perfect place to go off grid. The bedroom are comfortable and neat. There is a large kitchen so meal times are relaxed and easy. The lounge has everything you would need. There is a good size utility room with second toilet. You can sit outside and soak up the sunshine knowing everything has been provided for a great stay.

Location and views beautiful
The road going down to the property but it wouldn't stop us going back

There was some lovely touches which were left for us. A nice bottle of wine and fresh new laid eggs. It’s nice when people do that for you. I was busy moving house and emptying it so th3 barn provided me all I needed
The bathroom toilet didn’t flush properly and possibly could do with an upgrade.

Made our own breakfast. Location brilliant for us as we were walking in the area and the views were wonderful.
Cottage very well kitted out
Had difficulty using the tin opener and the bottle opener- had to ask for help and the dish washer was a little hit and miss. Couldn't find an instruction book and wondered if you could only use certain tablets in it. We could see the list on the top of the dishwasher but this didn't help us much

Yvonne was an amazing host, checking we were ok and seeing if we needed anything else.
Nice touches like a bottle of wine and condiments for our meals.
The beds were very comfy.
The views were amazing.
Very relaxing stay rural stay but just a 15 min walk to 2 pubs.
Nice to be able to park easily right outside the property too.

The location was perfect for us as only a short drive into the next valley to visit our son and family which was the reason for our trip. But we did have a big family meal for 9 (what a treat after not seeing each other for 18 months!) at The Dog Inn in the village, which was excellent. We didn't spend much time in the house as we were visiting family but it was spacious and well equipped. The garden was particularly nice and could imagine other guests would enjoy sitting in it.
