Very comfortable cabin, and the views are not over-stated!

Beautiful area and great mountain home. Well stocked and furnished. We had a great time with children and grandchildren. Only downside-decks were unusable due to ice and snow accumulation.

Well stocked home. Ideal for our group of 17. Beautiful views. Easy access to surrounding towns and Rocky Mountain NP. Enjoyed town of Grand Lake. Approx time to west entrance gate of RMNP was 30 minutes. Grocery stores not far. Great separate playhouse for kids. Enjoyed firepit area. Highly recommend for large groups. Would stay here again.

We love staying here ! Great communication with hosts & such a fun place with tons of character. Stunning views.

Really great property with everything you need for a great weekend with friends. Everything was perfect! Except, only thing was the driveway wasn't plowed at all and the walkway, deck, and driveway were covered in ice. Made it difficult to get a car out. And no street salt was provided - we left a bag for the next person. Would have liked the ice to be removed. It was a hazard.

We truly enjoyed staying at this location. The house and location was beautiful and close enough to town if anything was needed.

Our experience at the Mathews’s cabin was wonderful! It was a first family vacation for us. We were very comfortable there. The clothes washer had a leak that my mechanical husband diagnosed an d photographed for the property manager, but it was still in good condition and usable. The stove and range hood need serious updating. Overall, loved our time there! Thank you to the Mathews.

We picked this great mountain home for our annual family vacation. With just a short drive to winter park or Grand lake the house was in a great location.

Had a small issue with only part of the cabin being cleaned prior to our arrival. Issue was immediately and professionally handled, would rent again without hesitation.

Matthew’s property was a good place for family reunion. View from a living room and dinning room was an amazing. But too many knick -knacks on the wall make the room feel small and tight. Also the house need a deep cleaning and throw the expired stuff from cabinet in the kitchen.

This house worked quite well for our group. Although with the full contingent of 18 people it was inevitably tight, everyone did have a bed. Eclectic decorations were interesting, although a deep cleaning is in-order as there is significant accumulated dust on many of these items. The bedroom and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and have been renovated. The kitchen is clearly the "next" thing that needs attention in this house, with a small and ancient electric stove, cluttered cabinets, and a variable collection of kitchen utensils.
Nevertheless, we had a great time, and the house was a great value and convenient to WInter Park. Would/possibly will do it again!

Location and views are great and the check in/check out process is easy. The only complaints would be the property needs to be decluttered and DEEP cleaned. Too many knickknacks covering every inch of every wall are covered in dust. Bathrooms were picked up but not cleaned. Not all bedding was changed between guests. Living room couches should be replaced.

The place needs some deep cleaning and the kitchen appliance the stove need an upgrade. there is a lot of expired food in the cabinet from 2017.

Our group had a wonderful time at the cabin. It boasts breathtaking views from almost every room, and has enough beds to accommodate almost any party. The fire burning stove gives a great mountain feel, the sauna was perfect after a day on the slopes, and there was enough room for all of us to relax and play games together. The decor is almost out of a history book, and is great for conversation starters! There are a lot of cool artifacts to take in. And if you're feeling nostalgic (like we were) and want to watch a VHS, there is a wonderful collection -- We decided to watch Independence Day one night and had a ton of fun reliving the old days of Blockbuster and VHS rentals.
A wonderful place with great hosts!

This was an amazing property for a trip with my family and friends. The views were incredible and the house was a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend the property for a family or group of friends.

As newbies to the Vrbo experience, we are very pleased overall and would definitely go this route again.

We had a great time. Views are phenomenal! Home was extremely well stocked. Loved the fire pit - every evening. Once the fire went out it was game time on the long table. Loved the eclectic decorating too. The only downside was that the cleaning/maintenance team needs to give more focus to the kitchen. The fridge and stove were both dirty when we arrived and some of the pans need replacement due to finish being worn off. Overall we would highly recommend the Matthews home for a delightful family gathering.
