Très bien, mais un peu cher pour ce que c est

La literie, la salle de bain, le service , La propreté

Les chambres de style plutôt ancien (tapisserie, miroir etc) mais cela est évidemment subjectif. En revanche le rapport qualité prix n est pas au rendez vous selon moi. 271 chf la nuit pour une chambre de 18 m2 parking et petit déjeuner non compris, soit 351 chf avec 2 petits déjeuner et une place de stationnement devant l hôtel. L hôtel a proposé le même prix que Booking, mais n a pas proposé un prix plus avantageux, lorsque j ai appelé.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, der Lust auf mehr macht. Ich komme in Zukunft mit Sicherheit gern wieder.

Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute war der Aufenthalt ein Genuss. Das Person freundlich, die Nähe zum Bahnhof herrlich und das Zimmer mit sehr hohem Gemütlichkeitsfaktor. Ein Hotel, das man gern wieder besuchen möchte.

Nicht alle Zimmer sind mit einem Balkon ausgestattet. Hatte diesen aber auch nicht explizit erfragt oder gebucht, von daher nicht wirklich eine große Kritik.

L’emplacement, proche de toutes commodités.

Pas de early check-in ou si mais complément de prix. Le petit-déjeuner n’était pas exceptionnel pour le prix payé. En arrivant à 9:20 pour une fin de service à 10:30, il ne restait plus grand chose.

Bonne localisation très proche du métro Grande chambre qui permet à la personne dans le lit d'appoint de s'isoler.

Hôtel vieillissant ! Les serviettes sont changées tous les jours, ce n'est pas très écologique. Traces de moisis dans la salle de bain. Petits pots de crèmes et de conditionner deja entamés lorsque nous sommes arrivés dans la chambre. Pour un hôte comme le Carlton c'est décevant !

Normalerweise eine klare Empfehlung…

Ich war schon ein paar mal in diesem Hotel. Es ist super und ziemlich ruhig gelegen (gleich bei der Metro-Station), hat einen gepflegten, sehr klassischen Stil (auch wenn schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch grundsätzlich gut unterhalten) und das Personal ist stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Das angehängte Restaurant mit Gartenterrasse gibts nicht mehr. Der Vorteil: Frühstück gibts jetzt dort und nicht mehr im Keller. Oder etwas eleganter ausgedrückt im Sou-Sol;-) Allerdings finde ich die Mahlzeit mit CHF 30.00 eher teuer.

Dieses mal wurde ich allerdings eher enttäuscht. Oder vielleicht hatte ich einfach nur Pech: - Elektronischer Schliessmechanismus an der Tür war defekt und musste ausgetauscht werden - Die Heizung war schon auf Sommerbetrieb und wurde abgestellt. Mit der zusätzlichen Aircon konnte man nur kühlen, nicht heizen. In der Nacht wurde es empfindlich frisch… - Duvet- und Kissenbezüge waren löchrig (das geht in einem 4-Sterne-Haus nicht…) - Und last but not least hatte ich Ameisen im Badezimmer… Dieses mal könnte ich eigentlich nur eine Note 6 geben. Da ich jedoch grundsätzlich ein Fan vom Hotel bin, bin ich milde gestimmt und gebe doch noch eine 8;-) Als ob die Dame an der Reception es gespürt hätte, sie fragte mich beim Check-out nicht nach dem Befinden… Hoffe, dass beim nächsten alles wieder etwas geschmeidiger läuft.

The room was dusty for me as I have allergy to dust. The receptionists were not enough in number, they could not help me to connect to wifi when I arrived after a long flight saying they have other guests to help and pushed me aside.

Quartier calme. Emplacement très pratique, juste à côté d'une station métro avec lequel on peut soit faire deux arrêts dans un sens pour rejoindre le bord du Lac Léman, soit aller 3 arrêts dans l'autre sens pour rejoindre le centre historique de Lausanne. Hôtel classique, avec une histoire et du charme. Petite terrasse à deux places pour prendre l'apéritif à deux. Staff très serviable et plaisant.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable. The location was absolutely fabulous. Breakfast was excellent and breakfast staff couldn't do enough for you! We definitely would stay again.

The restaurant was expensive even by Lausanne standards and the menu had very limited choice for vegetarians. Alright if you liked peas and asparagus for the starter and main course! This said the staff although later apologetic got my starter and main course wrong, which as only one choice of main course for vegetarians was difficult! There didn't seem to be any vegan options at all.

Pleasant stay. Wished we had stayed longer in the city. Very hospitable staff and great express breakfast option.

Perfect location next to the lake. Well connected with the metro line (station is right next to the hotel). Excellent classical look and feel. Loved the design of the room; very elegant. Loved the breakfast too (we had to leave early so took express breakfast which was only 12.5 CHF but was great!)

The rooms are rather small. It says 18m2 but feels like 14m2. They assign balcony randomly so when we booked two room, one got the balcony and the other didn’t. They didn’t mention that during checkin else I would have taken balcony room for my mom. Mom’s room, 115, even has broken tile in the bathroom floor; not a big deal but doesn’t match with otherwise an excellent hotel!

Beautiful hotel and welcoming staff. Fab location too. Very comfortable bed.

The bathroom was quiet small and might be an issue for plus size guests. Just check the specs of your room with reception.

I like the staff, very friendly and helpful. I like also that the metro station is just around the corner and both the city centre and the Railway station are couple of minutes away by metro. I had got the transportation card from the hotel. I guess it's super cool

I'm a bit picky but frankly I missed the option of opening windows for a night, the windows are good but there is no option to ventilate
